This Report called INDRA (Version 1.7) creates a psychological mirror of your
life, by interpreting the astronomical symbols present at your moment of birth
using a large amount of prewritten text. INDRA describes your basic motivations,
perceptions, inclinations, and character from a number of different perspectives
giving a highly accurate composite view of your life. Your contradictory urges
and drives as well as your chief focuses are described in INDRA. You will
understand yourself better by studying this material. Your INDRA report provides
guidelines for personal improvement and self discovery. Your life can improve
quickly and dramatically if you apply the suggestions given here. By raising
your aims and expectations you can obtain a deeper self-understanding and
thereby resolve your inner conflicts and contradictions. INDRA is not meant as a
substitute for astrological consultations, therapy, or the study of astrology;

SECTION I. The Structure and Intent of Your Life.
There are four items of general interest that we want to take up here in Section
I: A) Hemisphere and Quadrant Emphasis, B) Elements and Modes, C) The Ascendant
and Midheaven, and D) The Conjunctions. These four categories give us an
intelligent overview of how you structure personal experience and what you aim
for in life. This general patterning gives us a context to understand the
specific personal meaning of the material in Sections 2 through 11.
A. Hemisphere and Quadrant Emphasis
The different areas of life are laid out in the horoscope by spatial territories
called houses. These areas of life show interests and general involvements for
each person. These areas can be grouped together for a vast overview of most
basic inclinations of the person. The most useful general groupings of houses is
into hemispheres and quadrants. Emphasis in a hemisphere or quadrant shows a
particularly strong focus toward life from that perspective.
1. Hemisphere
The horoscope can be split into 2 equal parts, either horizontally (giving us
the upper and lower hemispheres) or vertically (giving us the right and left
hemispheres). The Upper Hemisphere shows the outer, more extroverted side of the
personality, the Lower Hemisphere shows the more introverted and hidden side of
the personality. In the Left Hemisphere planets are rising and this shows
action. In the Right Hemisphere planets are setting and this shows reaction.
You have the majority of your planets above the horizon showing that you have a
need for contact with the outer world in order to feel fulfilled each day. You
enjoy projects, achieving and a sense of accomplishment. Success for its own
sake is more important than what security it might present to you.
Most Planets Rising
You have the majority of your planets on the eastern half (or left-hand side) of
your chart showing that you take great pains to be sure that you are free to act
as you wish in life. Freedom of movement and expression are important to you.
You have a strong feeling that you make your own destiny.
2. Quadrant
The two ways of splitting the horoscope into hemispheres can be applied
simultaneously giving us four quadrants. The FIRST is called the quadrant of
personality. The SECOND is called the quadrant of the environment. The THIRD is
called the quadrant of relationship. The FOURTH is called the quadrant of
service.
Most Planets in the Fourth Quadrant
You have the majority of planets in the fourth quadrant showing that you have a
fascination with the big picture. You are interested in accomplishing something
in the larger world. You wish to serve the community somehow. Career and
projects that have an effect on more than your own life become the focus of your
activity. You often attract recognition. This may or may not be important to
you.
B. Elements and Modes
The Elements and Modes show what we aim for in life. They show our broadest
focus and in the most general sense, how we go about achieving our goals.
1. Elements
The four elements (fire, earth, air and water) are the most comprehensive
inventory of the personality that we have. Everything in the universe including
the human personality can be examined in terms of the four elements. FIRE is
your basic enthusiastic urge, EARTH shows your concern for the material world,
AIR is the element of abstract thought, WATER is your empathy impulse. Fire and
earth are primitive and focus on the self. Air and water are derivative and
focused on others. Fire and air are naturally extrovert, optimistic, active, and
freedom oriented. Earth and water are basically introvert, pessimistic, passive,
and security oriented.
Fire
You have 30% of your chart in the fire element. This fire supplies you with
great energy for your own personal projects. Still, you suffer if the projects
that you select are too big. You need quick victories to keep from losing heart,
and to keep believing in yourself. The magic ingredient is believing in
yourself. When you forget this, your life produces much frustration; you end up
driven by duty more than desire. The trick to working with your fire element is
to design the placement of your energy so that you get sufficient positive
reinforcement, enabling you to keep reinvesting in your own projects.
Earth
You have an abundance of earth in your chart showing that you are a cautious and
thorough person. You build material security in life. If, for any reason, this
isn't happening you feel miserable. This can point to a problem of valuing the
wrong things in life and chasing empty dreams. Ask yourself how much you really
need and let it go at that. You can be an earnest and hard working person if
over-acquisitiveness doesn't blind you.
Air
You have just 20% of your chart in the air element. You have a magic blend in
the air element. You have an ever-active intellect. Your eye is always looking,
your mind is always attempting to grasp more and more information. You don't
feel confident in what you know. This lack of confidence prompts you to keep on
task with the learning process. You never relax on the subject of gathering new
information. In the long run, you become quite scholarly in life, out-performing
most others in the mental realm.
Water
Pluto is your only water planet. Consequently you have just 10% of your chart in
the water element. Developing a meaningful personal life requires you to go to
the depths of your being and transform some unspoken suppositions. Years of your
life can go by before recognizing that you are not as in touch with your
feelings as you would like to be. You see this as an area to be improved on and
work hard to get a more meaningful empathetic flow in your life.
2. Modes
The three modes are CARDINAL, FIXED, and MUTABLE. The modes of expression show
how you act out your urges in the world. They represent your most basic
responding mechanism toward all of life experience. The cardinal planets show
direct expression in physical action, leadership ability and strength. The fixed
mode planets in your chart show reaction, consistency, persistency, endurance
and stubbornness. The mutable planets in your chart show synthesis, blending,
malleableness, thought, forethought, debate and wisdom. The following statements
show the way the three modes manifest in your life.
Cardinal
You have 30% of your chart in the cardinal mode showing you have a dynamism
within you that prefers to act according to your own perceptions rather than
someone else's. You are action-oriented, but you easily follow others' lead if
they are going in a direction that you like.
Fixed
A tremendous amount of your chart is in the fixed mode. You have endurance.
Whether a course of action is good or bad you are more likely to stay with it
than change. The principle of inertia is with you. When you rest, you have real
difficulty getting going. When you are in motion, you have real difficulty
stopping or even changing directions (even slightly). People find you a loyal
friend and a tenacious enemy.
Mutable
You have 30% of your chart in the mutable mode. Adjustment to new circumstances
is relatively easy for you. Part of your nature is very stimulated by change.
You like to think about your experiences so as to accommodate any new
information that occurs. This is not your only way of being but your favorite
mode of operation can be reactive. Exposure to new ideas and methods can help
you be calmer while still helping you maintain interest in life.
C. The Ascendant and Midheaven (Signs and Aspects)
1. The Ascendant
The ascendant is symbolic of our relationship to our immediate environment. This
is the point rising in the east when we are born. One manifestation of our
immediate environment is our physical body. The physical environment includes
our body, our surroundings and our emotional and mental states. Thus, the
ascendant tells us how our inner core expresses itself, and how we take in
information from others and the universe generally. The sign rising in your
horoscope tells us the type of energy you are processing, the type of physical
body that you have for doing the processing and the natural inclinations you
have in the personal arena in life. The planets in aspect to your ascendant tell
us the kind of energy and stamina you have as natural allies in life. The
ascendant is opposite the seventh house cusp (the place where we meet others and
the world). This axis (ascendant-descendant) is how we clarify ourselves through
relationships. Planets in aspect to this axis indicate the types of people and
the types of relationships we seek as well as how and why we seek them.
SCORPIO RISING
Let's face it, you're intense. You have boundless energy and employ it freely on
any task at hand. You need to be discriminating so that your efforts come to
something. You have difficulty changing course once you set sail, so make sure
you are heading in the right direction before you set sail. Others never really
know you and a certain "loner" quality is within you. This doesn't have to be
lonely. You are always fighting battles within your own soul that keep you
preoccupied with your inner qualities. You are secretive by inclination. You
hold your thoughts as precious and useful to you alone. When you do wish to take
someone into your inner life, words fail to describe your true inner feelings.
Strange as it may seem, you place a high value on relationships. You go out of
your way to bring them about and to maintain them. Still, at your heart space,
your marriage partner looking into your eyes has the distinct feeling of looking
into "one way mirrors". Your emotional inner sanctuary is so private, it is only
rarely that you let even yourself in.
Moon Opposition the Ascendant and in the 6th House and unafflicted.
Others don't often see how important they are in your life. You have a deep bond
with others. You make other people and their needs a primary focus in life. You
are quite nurturing in all of your relationships and you place a great amount of
emotional energy into any interaction. Your daily routines and work will entail
dealing with others and their concerns in life because this is an emotional
requirement and interest of yours. Your ability to nurture and empathize with
others is quite helpful to many and satisfying to you.
Mercury Square the Ascendant
You like people and ideas but your manner of expression can put others off or
create misunderstanding. Tolerance of other people's point of view is the
beginning of having others understand you better. You express your opinions with
so much force that others take issue with your ideas. You learn from argument
and disagreement. But remember, a good idea that is expressed in a
confrontational manner may not get a fair hearing. Understatement is usually
more helpful than overstatement. Diplomacy begins by listening to others.
Jupiter Semi-Square the Ascendant
Overindulgence and too much of the "good life" slows you down on the long road
to self knowledge. Don't be afraid to say no to your social life. Remember, you
don't need to have it all in order to be happy. The road to success is found
through being content with what you have.
Saturn Square the Ascendant
You have carried many issues from your childhood forward that need to be
addressed wholesomely before you are able to achieve the success that you seek.
Your brand of self-disciplining seems overly restrained and repressive to
others. Responsibility is a stumbling block for you. It is difficult for you to
see clearly what really obligates you. The more that you express your true
thoughts and feelings the more you overcome your tendency to complain. You are
shy and have a problem putting your best foot forward in life. You don't feel
that you deserve what you want so you often attempt to get your second choice
rather than asking for what you really want. This can lend itself to you feeling
very self-sacrificing when this tendency is really just a way of perpetuating
your shyness. Be responsible, but enjoy life.
Uranus Opposition the Ascendant and in the 6th House and afflicted.
You are bored with people who are stable, and dissatisfied with the instability
of the truly interesting people in your life. You want to be able to count on
people and yet the really exciting people that you are attracted to lack this
quality. This means that people go through your life like they are on a
revolving door until you resolve this inner conflict. When your own work habits
and processes for accomplishing daily tasks are in place, this conflict starts
to ease up. You look for excitement and freedom in others but you really need to
find it in yourself.
Neptune Sextile the Ascendant
You are very imaginative, and can often guess what others are looking to find.
You have a chameleon-like quality that knows how to give others what they want.
This is at the root of your aesthetic taste and your creative and dramatic
ability. You are moved emotionally to get along with others and your psychic
skills show you how to do this. You have a wish to transcend your own limits
which can place you working in large institutions or find you engaging in
escapist activity. The most positive escape is the spiritual path which is a
higher accommodation to the ideal, or the arts which is a manifestation of the
higher desire for harmony and beauty.
2. The Midheaven
The Midheaven is the high point in your chart. It indicates what you aspire for,
what you see as your duty, and what authority and limits are about. Because of
this basic meaning the Midheaven indicates how you live out your social station
and what you do for your career. The point opposite the Midheaven is the fourth
house cusp, referred to as the nadir, which is the indication of our roots, our
heritage. This axis (Midheaven-Nadir) indicates the way we grow in life. The
sign on the Midheaven shows our basic energy and approach toward dealing with
the world. Planets in aspect to the Midheaven show qualities of our inner being
that we wish to contribute to the world and that we wish to be fulfilled through
our interaction with the outer world.
LEO MIDHEAVEN
You assume that career will look natural on you. Whatever your social station
is, you have high expectations for yourself. You have a period of wandering in
career, but when you really get involved with something, you can be deeply
committed. Your endurance alone tends to bring you positive results. Your
loyalty to people, ideas, and social structures are usually rewarded in some
way.
Sun Applying Conjunction to Midheaven and unafflicted.
You demand a position of authority just by your being. Others have to recognize
you and deal with you. Basically, people like you and are happy to see your
success as you rise in life. You were born around noon and you seem to naturally
bask in your own radiance. You carry a full view of the surface issues of life
into every position, project or decision.
Saturn Separating Opposition to Midheaven and afflicted.
You are responsible and have practical mental skills but fear and the wrong
sequencing of ideas can prohibit your ability to climb as far as you would like
in life. Recognize that your fears are an outgrowth of your over sensitivity to
past experiences. Once you deal effectively with this root of your behavior, you
create a better, more productive path in life.
D. The Conjunctions.
A Conjunction occurs when two planets are in the same immediate area of the
Zodiac. The conjunctions in your chart show central linkings of basic energies
in your life. When one area (represented by a planet) expresses itself, it
brings along the other area (represented by the other planet). When you are
studying the rest of this printout of your life, keep in mind that linking of
these energies is a central theme in your life and these areas should be studied
together.
Moon Conjunct Uranus
Think of Sections III. THE MOON - Your personal life, and IX. URANUS -Your
search for freedom, as a single unit. This Conjunction colors your unconscious
habits and your basic attitude toward life. This is an extremely important
ingredient of your identity and represents a primary attribute of your
personality.
Mercury Conjunct Pluto
Think of Sections IV. MERCURY - Your mental life, and XI. PLUTO -Your need for
fundamental change, as a single unit. This Conjunction is a central indicator of
the way you interact with people and your environment
Venus Conjunct Jupiter
Think of Sections V. VENUS - Your love nature, and VII. JUPITER -Your values, as
a single unit. This Conjunction shows a central theme in the way you form your
values. It is fundamental to the way that you acquire what you want.
Venus Conjunct Neptune
Think of Sections V. VENUS - Your love nature, and X. NEPTUNE -Your spiritual
aspirations and ideals, as a single unit. This Conjunction represents a central
theme in the formation of your values. A longing for a higher ideal is always
present.
SECTION II. The SUN - Your Ego Structure
The Sun is the center of the solar system. All life revolves around it within
this sphere. In the same way, the ego is the center of personal identity and
gives integration and continuity to individual experience. In this sense, it
might be said that the Sun shows character. This is the fixed pillar at the
center of the person around which all else circulates or revolves.
The sign placement of the Sun shows the center of the individual's basic
character. The sign of the Sun is the most primary indicator of the forms of
experience you are attracted to. Further, this most important placement shows
how and why you are attracted to these experiences.
The house placement of the Sun sign shows the primary area of expression for the
individual in life. There is a psychological, emotional, and physical
significance to the house placement of the Sun. Aspects to the Sun show ways
that the core of the personality are linked to other component elements in the
individual's life. Aspects to the Sun have a deep and overriding significance in
the life of the individual and are generally more important, more prominent than
other aspects in the chart.
SUN IN LEO
You clearly see yourself as the center of your own life. You radiate a natural
joy and goodness to life. You have a strong inner dignity and sense of
self-respect. You must have some self-expression in life and you will look at
any activity as a chance to create. Although you are somewhat theatrical and
flamboyant, you inspire others who often get some vicarious enjoyment through
watching you. Pay more attention to detail and show more concern for other
people's needs and your life automatically becomes more fulfilling.
Sun in 10th house
You are achievement oriented. You have a natural expectation that positions of
power, authority and responsibility should come to you. You receive help in your
climb in life from people further up the hill. You will be well known in your
immediate circle and that may transport out to a larger world picture.
Sun in 10th house Unafflicted
You are surefooted and advancement comes to you naturally. Others not only
recognize you but generally like you. You are responsible and competent so your
success is fairly secure in your chosen field.
SUN SEMI-SEXTILE VENUS
You have a charm, a beauty and an inclination to do good. You need to make sure
that you don't become lazy and give up striving for the good after suffering
some disappointments in life. The desire to nurture and your fascination with
your own receptive qualities can put you in touch with many different types of
people in life. Learn discrimination and your life is much more pleasant.
SUN IS IN SOFT ASPECT TO YOUR MARS
You are full of energy. When you get excited about a project you are very
enthusiastic and quick to act on a plan. Your sense of right and wrong translate
into action. You are brave, willing to "stand up for what you see as right".
SUN SEXTILE YOUR MARS
Energetic, enthusiastic, (and at times) very combative, you have a way of
getting to your goal. You enjoy the contest of others trying to stop you. Your
creative energies flow very strong when you are opposed.
SUN IS IN HARD ASPECT TO YOUR SATURN
Your restrictions are largely self-created. You find your fears and your ego
drives getting in each other's way. The result can be that you are overly
cautious. Self-control can be so overdone that you become difficult to live with
or work with. A defeatist attitude can grow out of being too conservative.
Strive to be responsible and still see the world in a positive light. As you
become more trusting you overcome your propensity to back ill-conceived plans
that stem from pessimism and desperation.
SUN OPPOSITION YOUR SATURN
You tend to be inhibited, shy and reserved. You are solicitous of other people's
good opinion of you. You accomplish a great deal because you go through a
process of self-refinement and self-criticism. As you get older you learn in a
very tangible way what the world is capable of providing. This allows you to
become meaningfully self-contained which can lead to the overcoming of fears.
Discipline brings accomplishment and helps dissipate fear.
SECTION III. The MOON - Your Personal Life.
The Moon inscribes a circle around the earth. It moves more swiftly than other
astronomical bodies and thus represents day to day and moment to moment
movements, adjustments and preoccupations. The Moon is the symbol of the
personal life which is molded and shaped by our environment, by events, and by
social and familial expectations. Further, the Moon shows our responses to life
which are based on our past habits, experiences, our heritage and our individual
and collective cravings.
The sign placement of the Moon shows how you project yourself to the general
public, how the instinctive and imaginative component of your mind operates, how
you express your feelings and your most general experiences of your family and
mother.
The house placement of the Moon shows how and where you make day to day
adjustments. Further, it shows the things you are most interested in dealing
with in order to gain emotional equilibrium.
The aspects of the Moon show the general characteristics of the personality that
are emphasized. Planets in aspect to the Moon are symbolic of qualities in the
personality that are used instinctively, habitually and with a high degree of
versatility.
MOON IN TAURUS
You have a sense of inner satisfaction that is both your strength and your
weakness. On one hand, you know how to be persistent, to feel contented and to
take the sensuous joy in the goodness of life. On the other hand, you may have
real difficulty getting going when your circumstances require change. You may
have some talent for the arts and you certainly love the creation of beauty.
Your feelings run deep and your instincts and reactions to life are very colored
by your past experiences.
Moon in 6th house
You have an unconscious need to find the origin of what isn't working. You are
capable of working in routine and menial jobs as part of your larger career
picture or as part of a social process that allows you to transcend a sense of
personal responsibility.

By the time you reach adulthood you have figured out what works and what doesn't
work at the level of your daily routines and habits. You find satisfaction
through helping others and have a natural instinct for knowing where and when to
give assistance. Good practical training has built a powerful gridwork of social
graces and charms into the floor of your unconscious.
MOON IS IN HARD ASPECT TO YOUR MERCURY
You have a restless mind and a lively imagination. You learn quickly because you
can imitate what you see others do. It is possible to become over-sensitive to
the environment and to make changes that are unnecessary through excessive
imagination, worry, and slipshod, careless methodology. Your interest in
communicating your ideas and perceptions to others often needs to be slowed down
a little. Strive to make your information gathering and study habits stable and
regular.
MOON SQUARE YOUR MERCURY
You are clever and able to explain yourself well, regardless of the situation.
Your wit can be quite biting and sarcastic. Your ability to explain a situation
verbally is not always based on any real understanding. Actually, your
penetration into a subject can be quite superficial. You grow more in your own
understanding when you look for long term results and look less to the
acceptance of your expressions.
MOON IS IN HARD ASPECT TO YOUR VENUS
You have a desire to come before the public, to be recognized by others. You are
really shy and have difficulty putting your best foot forward. At times, you
withhold yourself or even intentionally put your worst foot forward. You want to
gain acceptance for who you really are rather than take people in with a surface

You are caught short - trying to do too much with too little. Momentary poor

You have unusual habits and original methods of implementation of your ideas.

MOON IS IN SOFT ASPECT TO YOUR NEPTUNE
You have a deep and abiding connection with music and art. When you are upset or
feeling unbalanced; you can gain a sense of peace through music, meditation, and
isolation. You are a sensitive and creative soul. As long as you are not too
passive, your life has the good fortune to unfold along the path of least
resistance. (Becoming too passive can mean stagnation). You are idealistic and
believe the best about people. This is good and helps people, but remember to
concentrate on people as they are, and not just what they might become. A lofty

MOON TRINE YOUR NEPTUNE
Your senses become a deep road to pleasure and your idealistic mannerisms and
proposals win you an audience which you inspire. You are very sensitive and need
time alone, in quiet surroundings, in order to be balanced. You have a deep
appreciation for music and are moved emotionally by its color, rhythm and
timbre.
SECTION IV. MERCURY - Your Mental Life.
Mercury is the closest planet to the Sun. From the viewpoint of the earth it
seems to dart back and forth across the face of the Sun, having three retrograde
cycles a year. Mercury is the planet of your mental life. It shows how you
receive, process and disseminate information. The sign placement of Mercury
shows your basic attitude and mental habits. The aspects of Mercury show your
scope of vision and your methods for accomplishing tasks.
MERCURY IN LEO
Your mind is authoritative, self-sufficient, dramatic and comprehensive. You
don't just passively collect knowledge, you create knowledge when you study. You
relate everything back to you. When you speak, you don't just say something, you
state it. A certain dignity is always hanging in the air. Although you follow a
chain of thought, you have a tendency to build to a climax in very broad terms.
You improve your standing in your world when you learn respect for other
people's point of view and increase your own grasp of detail. When you need to
adjust and adapt to life's demands, generally you don't. You carry the standard
off the battle field rather than surrender or even adjust. When you are too
inflexible, you are prone to being either humiliated or ridiculed.
Mercury in 9th house
You have an interest in travel that comes from a desire to expand your
understanding of life. Adventure and change are always ingredients of your life.
You are forever searching out new avenues of understanding, as you have a
persistent drive to find the truth. You are most successful in life when you
learn to harness your enthusiasm for expansion with consistent effort.
Mercury in 9th house Afflicted
You have trouble choosing a direction but may offer advice freely to others as
to what direction they should take. Be careful that you don't make promises that
you can't keep.
MERCURY IN ASPECT TO THE MOON
This indicates that you have a very personal, feeling mind. You have a very
close personal use for your mental life. The details of this connection were

MERCURY SEMI-SQUARE VENUS
You have a real interest in communicating your thoughts to others; you have a
pleasing manner of expression. However, you will occasionally hurt your cause by
telling people what you think they want to hear rather than what you really
believe. Try to be consistent in thought and speech. You will experience more
stress in the short run but greater peace of mind.
MERCURY IS IN HARD ASPECT TO YOUR URANUS
You get great ideas, even brilliant at times. Still, others don't always hear
