From an esoteric point of view your birth chart is a portrait of your soul's intention for this lifetime, the lessons to be learned, qualities to develop, problems to be resolved, service to be rendered. From that perspective, the choices one makes in one's daily life have reverberations that may last beyond even this lifetime.
This report is written to help you clarify your lessons and goals, illuminate your struggles, and encourage you to move in the direction of your true purposes.
The best to you on your journey...

Chapter 1: The Moon
The placement of the Moon in your birth chart is very significant from a karmic perspective, as it indicates the accumulated karmic tendencies, both positive and negative, that you carry from your past incarnated experiences on earth.
While the Sun reveals your intended purposes and lessons for this present life cycle, the MOON represents what you have already done and developed, hence, what is instinctive and natural to you, and what you tend to do over and over again. Your childhood is also reflected in the Moon's placement, as it is through those childhood circumstances that any unresolved past-life issues are re-stimulated. Your subconscious predisposition is indicated by the Moon's position. It is the psychic imprint of the past. The nodes of the Moon describe behavior patterns from the past, as well as delineating a direction out of outworn or overdone behaviors and habits.
Moon in Leo:
You have a deeply ingrained sense of personal dignity, and a certain magnanimity of feeling, that prevents you from acting in a petty, spiteful, or small-minded fashion. Even when under stress you like to think of yourself as "above all that" and you may well be, but you may also have a strong subconscious need to impress others, to be thought well of, so that you withhold any less-than-noble responses and feelings you may have. Though usually warm and sunny, you cool off considerably when your pride has been wounded and you will frequently hide your hurt from the world because of your incarnational past (in which you have been in roles of authority, position, and honor in your circle), you tend to feel that you must protect others from your own pains and troubles. Rightly or wrongly, you subconsciously believe that "others are depending upon me, I have to put a bright face on, and not let them know I'm suffering, the show must go on!". While people generally do, in fact, appreciate your positivity, this attitude tends to exaggerate your importance and keep others from knowing the real human being behind the smile. Usually you have only a chosen few, a small inner circle of devoted fans and supporters, in whom you will really confide.
Previous lifetimes as an actor or entertainer are also indicated, which give you a natural gift for performing and the desire for an audience. You are adept at dramatizing your feelings, really playing them up, and projecting your emotions for effect. So instead of down playing your pain, at times you milk it for all it's worth! These histrionics may or may not be obvious to others, for you may play them out only on the stage in your mind, but certainly there is a strong habit of personalizing everything and dramatizing your emotions. You rather enjoy a bit of melodrama.
In part, you are motivated by deep subconscious memories of past glory of being the champ, the best, the star of the show and you still seek top billing, at least in some area of life. Your need to be in charge stems from this; you find yourself naturally gravitating toward leadership roles such as, head of the department or head coach, in short, the one "calling the shots". Because of your instincts for leadership, if you are not in charge you tend to upstage the person who is, usually without even realizing what you are doing or why. You have a knack for drawing the attention toward yourself. You will be noticed in one way or another, and this personal recognition is very important to you.
You are extremely uncomfortable in impersonal environments, and most definitely do not want to be just a cog-in-the-wheel. Large companies where there is little room for personal expression and creativity are not for you. You have a strong creative bent. You also see people as individuals, not functions (it's Joe, not "the Mailman", Caroline, not "the Secretary"). You bring warmth, color, energy, humanness, heart, and joie de vivre into whatever environment you are in. You have a personal touch which is much appreciated. At your best, a sense of personal honor, integrity, sincerity, and pride suffuses all that you do.
Deep within, you feel that you are someone special and that you deserve the lion's share of life's bounty. You expect great things for yourself and when you are willing to work for them, you often excel. But when things do not work out well for you, you are often perplexed and more than a little put-out. ("How could this happen to ME?" or "How could I have gone unnoticed?") To put it bluntly, you can be a big baby! Learning to view things from a larger, more inclusive perspective (everything does not revolve around you), and that everyone is special, are two important lessons for you.
North Node in Taurus:
In your incarnational past, you tended toward intensity, passionate extremes, and radical solutions to your problems. Your growth direction now is to become more grounded in the physical world, and committed to a work or a lifestyle that enables you to be more stable, reliable, and trustworthy.
North Node in 9th house:
Your past tendency influences your thinking and way of interacting with others on a daily basis, perhaps more than you realize. Apply your new attitude or growth direction in the arena of your religious and philosophical beliefs and affiliations, and in developing a new and broader world view.
Chapter 2: The Sun
The Sun in your birth chart represents the primary creative thrust for this lifetime, those qualities you are to develop (or further develop) and express, and your current life focus. This may be in harmony with your instincts and your emotional habits, or along completely different lines. The Sun represents your conscious identity in this lifetime.
Sun in Capricorn:
Achievement through discipline is one of your keynotes in this lifetime. To fulfill your soul purpose you will need much patience, tenacity, endurance, and most likely a long period of apprenticeship or labor. You are equipped by nature to withstand the periods of self-denial, austerity, grueling study, repetitive practice, or "doing without" that your path in life requires. Serious about your aims and, above all, a realist, you are willing to pay your dues in order to get where you want to go. Whether your goal is spiritual attainment, development of a talent, or material success, you want to go to the top. Some degree of rigorous training or hardship (inner or outer) is apt to be a prerequisite to your eventual achievement, and unlike apparently "luckier" souls, you have to work hard and pull your own weight early in life. Often, too, you have to wait, to delay gratification, and plan your strategies very carefully and shrewdly in order to gain your desired ends. Through this, you develop a certain toughness and firmness, emotional detachment, inner resourcefulness and self-determination, which keeps you going when the road gets a little rocky on the way to the pinnacle you are aiming for. One pitfall you need to beware of is your tendency to become hardened and cynical, secretly envious of those whose way is less arduous or whose outlook and attitude is more trusting and carefree (irresponsible and immature, to your way of thinking). You seem to be given more "tests", frustration, responsibilities, restrictions than others, and as a result, tend to view the world as an unfriendly place or life as a struggle. It is important for you not to become bitter because of this, or to attempt shortcuts, as these will almost certainly come back to haunt you later. The first half of your life, in particular, may seem heavy or hard, while the fruits of your steady efforts come to you later.
The essence of this lifetime is that you must prove yourself, and this you know at a deep level, and feel as a sort of inner pressure. (It can be next to impossible to get you to relax and enjoy yourself, to waste time or money on anything frivolous, or to gamble on anything you are not certain will yield real, tangible benefits). Because of your very strong (even if undefined) sense of purpose, even your recreation is apt to be done in a calculated manner. You weigh the potential risks involved, usually on the side of safety, for you have a very strong head to know where you are going and to be in control. Thus, the true experience of play tends to elude you, since it requires letting go of control, a certain indifference to results in preference for a free flowing openness to the moment. You do have a rather dry, ironic sense of humor, and it is important for you to keep that side of you alive as it gives you balance and a healthy perspective on things.
Another aspect of your inner need to prove yourself is that you often feel that you are being judged. Guilt, fear of failure, and inhibited self-expression may stem from this. At the same time, you judge yourself (often by rather strict standards), and tend to judge other people as well. At its worst, this attribute can lead to an over-concern with the right social image, with the opinions and values of society, and "what the neighbors will think", rather than assessing someone or something on any real intrinsic qualities. The right form (designer-name products, a prestigious neighborhood or school, etc.) may become inordinately important to you. You can be rather class conscious. And, already burdened with self-judgment, you may severely limit your choices in life, never really experimenting or trying anything daring, for fear of not doing it well, or that people might ridicule you. At its best, however, this trait gives you a keen eye for real, lasting quality and a discerning perception.
Traditional values are an important part of your life, and if you do not have any from your early years, it would be very helpful to you to develop your own rituals, traditions, and a way of connecting yourself to the past and to history in ways that are meaningful to you. As mentioned earlier, tutorship or apprenticeship is also likely to be a significant part of your journey, and it would behoove you to find a mentor or elder to help you in the tradition you are following. It is also likely that you will serve in the same capacity as an experienced, seasoned, and hopefully wise "expert" in your field. If you negotiate your life path successfully, power, responsibility, and a high level of achievement or mastery is likely in this lifetime.
Sun Square Jupiter:
Part of your soul purpose is to promote growth and expansion, whether material, intellectual, or spiritual. You are impelled to be involved in large enterprises that have broad social consequences and influence many people, and you need a rather large arena in which to make the impact you wish. You dream BIG dreams and generally possess the self confidence to promote yourself and your ideas on a wide scale. Your willingness to take risks and to branch out into areas you have yet to explore, along with your ability to project into the future and to see the big picture, all add to your capacity to come to prominence and succeed in life in a big way. However, just as unchecked growth and over-development can lead to undesirable consequences for, say, the natural environment, so too can your own urge for "more" or "bigger" have harmful effects. When out of balance, you are prone to exaggerate, to be ostentatious and pretentious, to be overly optimistic and promise things that you can not reasonably do, and to be seemingly unable to limit or restrict yourself in a realistic way. The ego-gratifications you get from being a "big-wig" may become a primary motivation rather than simply an offshoot of your accomplishments. You may be unwilling to pay your dues, too quick to try a shortcut (moral or otherwise) in your eagerness to gain your aspirations. You may also have enjoyed "favored son" or "favored daughter" status in your household growing up, and thus expect things to come easily to you. Generally they do, but relying too much on this kind of luck can lead to errors of judgment on your part, not to mention major disappointments. On a physical level, over consumption could lead to overweight and/or problems with your liver.
At your finest, though, you have a generous heart, a positive spirit, and the desire to live for something bigger than yourself. Using these gifts, you can contribute much good to the world as well as your own spiritual refinement. The qualities of hope and joy are also yours to transmit to the world.
Sun Square Saturn:
Like the brilliant diamond which is formed through intense and concentrated pressure, you are intended to develop inner depth, strength, and maturity through periods of intense aloneness, and what one might deem hardship. Early on you may well be required to face difficult circumstances or take sole responsibility for yourself, possibly due to the loss or lack of a strong relationship with your father. You may feel that you will never measure up to your father's expectations of you, that he disapproves or is disappointed in you, that you are not quite enough. In response to this you may become super responsible and conscientious, working extremely hard to achieve or be something that will make your father proud, even forcing yourself into some mold, or inhibiting certain essential aspects of yourself in order to be taken seriously. You may be prone to intense self-doubt and inclined toward excessive guilt, all of which tends to shroud your life in subtle, pervasive ways, and a constant sense of struggle and effort and of having to do it all alone may result. It is true that, in many ways, you will have to stand alone in this life, and cut off from the usual avenues of support, you will be developing true self-reliance, self-definition, and self-responsibility. You may have to break away from your father, his values, or way of being in order to truly be yourself. And, you will be repeatedly tested, which makes you quite aware, probably too much so, of your own limitations and inadequacies. Through this process, however, you will develop a certain toughness and strength you did not have before. Beware of becoming too hardened and serious, however, or of becoming the demanding perfectionist, the severe taskmaster towards other people. Keeping your heart open through the trials of your life rather than succumbing to cynicism or self-condemnation, will certainly enable you to move forward on your path more easily.
Chapter 3: Rising Sign
The point that was on the eastern horizon at the moment of your birth is called the ASCENDANT, or rising sign. While the Sun describes your conscious direction and current life focus, and the Moon your subconscious predisposition and past, the Ascendant indicates a way of being that transcends and embraces past, present, and future. It describes the way you engage and merge with the outer world and how you bring through into life the energies depicted by the Sun, the Moon, and the rest of your birth chart. Everything is filtered through the Ascendant from an esoteric point of view. It indicates your soul's function and thus a key part of your destiny.
Virgo Rising:
You do everything skillfully with a fine sense of craftsmanship and precision, perfectionism, care and attention to detail. You are keenly observant and have an acute sensitivity to each and every thing in your environment; therefore, you attend to small things that others do not readily notice, the subtleties, the fine points. You fulfill your soul function through service, assisting and helping others, perhaps in a rather humble, understated, unglamorous way, and doing a job for its own sake rather than for personal recognition or glory. Your simple desire to be useful and to be of service, your willingness to engage in ongoing practice in order to improve, and your willingness to change or adjust yourself according to the light you have at any given moment, enables you to fulfill your function. When out of balance, you criticize, worry, obsess about yourself and/or your health or body, and tend to magnify problems.
Virgo Rising and Mercury in Sagittarius:
Your ruling planet, Mercury, is in the idealistic sign of Sagittarius: you have definite convictions, beliefs, philosophical ideas and opinions that are important to you and which color your entire approach to life. You may believe that you know the truth for everybody, and nitpick over minor behaviors (minor to others, not to you). You also tend to hold yourself to unrealistically high standards as you try to sincerely apply your beliefs and ideals.
You have a highly-strung, sensitive nervous system, and you need to cultivate calming, regular habits in order to be your best.
Chapter 4: Saturn, Your Achilles Heel
Karmically considered, the placement of Saturn in your birth chart indicates where your energetic blockages, weaknesses and fears lie, and the areas of your life where the most concentrated effort and discipline will be required to master and overcome them. Yet it also points to the aspects of life which can become your greatest strength if you are willing to face your fears and difficulties honestly, and work with them patiently.
Saturn in Libra
Finding a balance in your life between participating in a close relationship, and attending to your own requirements and your own personal development, is a crucial issue for you in this lifetime, and not a particularly easy one. For you, relationships with people usually come at a rather steep cost, and they may seem more of a burden or more work than mutual pleasure. You may thus enter into personal relationships cautiously and reluctantly, or you may reserve some part of yourself and, in effect, refuse to be fully engaged. Expecting, at some level, to be disappointed, you opt not to invest yourself entirely, and then wonder why you do not feel fulfilled, why there is a vacuum. At other times, you may find yourself taking on much more than your fair share in your partnerships, and can even martyr yourself for the sake of a friendship, marriage or other cooperative endeavor. Because of the frustration and disappointment you experience in this realm of your life (or at least in certain key relationships), you will be thrown back on your own resources in order to truly become a whole person capable of relating to other individuals. What you seek from or through the other, you will have to find or develop from within.
Saturn in 2nd house:
The arena of money, material assets and financial security is where many of your challenges or blockages arise. It is not so much that you are likely to be impoverished as that you fear you will be. Acting from this contracted state, you may make poor financial decisions, fail to take opportunities presented to you, or even act against your own best interests and higher impulses wherever money comes in to the picture. The Universe will not be very forgiving if this is so. You are apt to pay heavily for mistakes you make (whether practical or moral) in this area of your life. Any tendency toward greed, stinginess, or unwillingness to share what you have will exact a toll either on your body or your own financial success.
One of the essential lessons for you is to learn to appreciate the true value of things. Having to work hard to earn your way, or enduring periods knowing, then, that your worth is not dependent upon "having" but on being, and that you can be happy in simplicity, you will be free of the hold money or "security" has upon you.
Saturn Opposition Jupiter:
In this lifetime any tendency you have had toward over expansion or overblown aspirations is checked. Your mobility and freedom may be severely limited in some way, perhaps due to fluctuating financial circumstances, physical ailments, or unalterable personal commitments. Many ups and downs will test your faith.
Your big challenge is to recognize and accept boundaries and limitations, while working in regular, consistent ways toward improving your life or position. Developing patience and contentment with the process is important, otherwise you are apt to swing high and low, and to lose faith and confidence. An attitude of "voluntary simplicity" can be helpful.
Chapter 5: The Hard Aspects
The following is a description of your MAJOR LIFE CHALLENGES, both in terms of energies you are to learn to develop and express in a positive way, and those which are the result of struggles and unresolved karmic issues which you have brought into this life.
Uranus Quincunx Neptune:
You and many others born the year you were are inherently open to experiencing unusual states of consciousness and higher inspiration. However, your grasp of reality may be rather shaky at times. In your incarnational past you practiced extreme methods that forced open your higher spiritual centers before you were prepared to constructively channel those energies and/or you were involved in extreme idealistic systems of thought that were not particularly well-grounded. It is important for you to moderate this extremism and to stabilize yourself. Any mind-altering practice or substance should be utilized with caution. Develop regularity and rhythm in your life, and use your inspirational energies to infuse your ordinary life with imagination. Too much focus on utopia or spirituality can lead to disorientation. You easily get too "far-out".
Uranus Quincunx Pluto:
You and many of your generation have a group karma that involves planetary change and awakening through upheaval and disruption. Turbulent forces in the collective mind/body/soul of your group may be expressed as violence, extreme opposition to real or perceived oppression, radical severance from all old conditioning. There is a powerful urge for change and revolution in this pattern. Becoming a positive agent of change rather than a negative reactionary or extremist is your challenge.
Neptune is Retrograde:
The above is complicated by the fact that you had a prior lifetime or lifetimes in which you dissipated your energy, fell away from your disciplines, or were too passive or irresolute to go after the spiritual opportunities open to you at that time. This carries over as a vague yet persistent inner nagging that you should be further on than you are, or a fear of spiritual failure. You may also have been involved in mystical or magical practices that created distortions in your life. It is important for you to take a balanced, patient, well-grounded attitude toward life - nothing too otherworldly, ethereal, or glamorous. Indulging in any mood-altering substances is particularly deleterious for you.
Pluto is Retrograde:
These issues are further complicated by the fact that in a prior life or lives you experienced a terrible betrayal, and may even have been tortured or put to death when you claimed power (social, political or spiritual). You may have misused power or employed Machiavellian strategies in which many suffered. Whether you were a perpetrator or a victim of such abuses, deep fears were engendered at that time, of being powerful or of people in power who would crush you if you display your strengths. An unconscious desire for revenge may motivate you and prevent you from healing. Letting go of this may require deep inner work and some kind of therapeutic energetic release of the grief you hold.
Chapter 6: Soft Aspects
The following is a description of your GIFTS and STRENGTHS which can help you work with your major life challenges. These are abilities and qualities of heart, mind, and soul which are quite natural to you. You probably take them for granted. Because these represent the lines of least resistance for you, you may rely too much upon them at times; hence, there are some cautions suggested. Still, these are the areas where good flows into your life and/or where you have considerable inner resources.
Moon Trine Mercury:
Your ability to communicate in a personal, sympathetic manner, and to sense and take into account others' moods and feelings, are some of your gifts. Because you are interested in others' personal stories and are a good listener, you draw people out and may find yourself the confidante or personal advisor to many. You are also apt to be the sounding board, mediator, or messenger between members of your family. You have natural counseling abilities and innate psychological insight.
You also understand the public temperament and have a sixth sense regarding mass psychology and social trends. The capacity and desire to educate the public and to personally interact with the public is also evident.
You may take your writing abilities and your knack for learning languages and using words for granted. However, if you put any effort at all into tapping these skills, you might be surprised at how natural and easy they come to you.
Venus Trine Jupiter:
In your incarnational past you have enjoyed ease and wealth, and have thus developed a taste for "the finer things", and a certain level of comfort and material well-being. You expect to be well provided for, and will attract prosperity quite easily. However, you may also take much for granted or be disinclined to put yourself out very much. If you can avoid the "spoiled prince" or "spoiled princess" attitude, your more golden qualities will help you create a satisfying life for yourself. These personal attributes include generosity, friendliness, givingness, tolerance, and the ability to make others feel comfortable, accepted, and good about themselves. Humor and a light touch are also among your gifts.
An appreciation for beauty and culture is well developed in you also; and you could be a sponsor and supporter of the arts in your community.
Mars Sextile Pluto:
Your will-force is well developed, and when pursuing a goal you bring passion, whole heartedness, and a relentless determination to the effort. You can work long and hard, tapping deep reserves of energy, when you have dedicated yourself to a purpose. Without realizing it, you may sacrifice a great deal in order to get what you want. You are capable of and willing to give up certain things in order to achieve your desires. You may also forget that others may not have the same agenda as you do and forge ahead despite them. You may rely too much on "making it happen" through your own effort, forgetting there is a time and season for everything. Nevertheless, your passion and energy are great gifts. Used constructively, you can do things many people only dream of. Aligning your will with the will of a higher power, you are capable of truly great achievements.
Saturn Trine Neptune:
You have distilled wisdom through the disciplines and willing sacrifices you have made in your incarnational past. Now, it is relatively easy for you to appreciate simplicity and to enjoy the peace of mind that comes from detachment from too many material "needs" and wants. You have also developed the capacity to accept discipline, personal sacrifice, and self-denial as an intrinsic part of attaining meaningful goals. Accepting limitation and imperfection as unavoidable aspects of life, you pursue your ideals and dreams without either being naive and foolishly optimistic, or giving up on them entirely. This balance of practicality and idealisms is a true gift, though one that you may easily overlook in yourself since it is not very glamorous or "special".
Neptune Conjunct Pluto:
Collectively, this is a time in history that enables you and those of your generation to advance spiritually through a heightened awareness of the invisible and intangible realms. A rebirth of spirituality through direct contact with higher forces is occurring in this generation. This contact takes many, many forms, including a compelling interest in life beyond death. You may or may not have a personal involvement with this, as it is a group karma rather than a primarily personal one.
