The interpretation of your astrology chart begins on the following page.
You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple
language, uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to
contradict another statement, then you exhibit these opposite qualities at
different times in your life. For example, a statement that you are highly
sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly
contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both sociability
and solitude at different times.
The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The
astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of
astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will
not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.
If you find this interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative,
you might want to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to
learn more about the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics
Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by
the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of
these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth
(practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual
qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).
Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are
"unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain
element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that
aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that
dimension of life.
Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as
a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities
described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following
chapters.
You are prone to underestimate rather than overestimate your own abilities and
worth, and through your humility, to settle for much less than you really want
and are capable of. You may think of yourself as ordinary, dull, or unexciting
for you do not like to take risks and you value safety and security over
adventure, stability over change.
You do everything in a premeditated, orderly fashion and tend to be rather
serious. The responsible, rational, adult aspect of you is quite strong and the
spontaneous, carefree, childlike side of yourself is less developed. You can be
"all work and no play".
Developing self-confidence, enthusiasm, joy, generosity, and a larger vision of
what life is all about is important for you.
Physically, you are apt to get cold rather easily and may find that eating spicy
foods, exercising vigorously, and being out in the sunshine to be helpful.

Earth is Strong, Fire is Weak (F,E,A,W Scores = 3,34,6,6)
Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others
The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others
see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3
you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes
the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read
this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant
differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through
and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than
superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in
life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.
You have a sensible and realistic outlook on life and your two feet are always
planted firmly on the ground (though you may, on occasion, have your head in the
clouds). Others often see you as a rock of strength, solid, reliable,
dependable, and constant. You are, in fact, amazingly consistent for you possess
great powers of endurance and do not like to make changes or adjustments in your
regular routine. You do things deliberately and methodically and do not easily
accommodate the unexpected. Though you have a gentle, even soft, appearance, you
are enormously strong-willed and stubborn. You go at your own pace and refuse to
be rushed or pushed into anything before you feel sure about it. You can be
coaxed and persuaded by charm, beauty, love, or affection - but never forced.
You won't fight either, but simply stubbornly resist any attempt to coerce you
to do something you do not want to do.
When you have a purpose, you are extremely fixed, immovable, and bullheaded
about it. Your obstinacy is often infuriating to others, especially since it
takes much provocation to make you flare up or respond to their anger. You
appear calm, unruffled, and unemotional most of the time, but behind your
easygoing and peaceable appearance there lies great strength. When it comes to a
contest of wills, you often win simply due to your relentless persistence, your
ability to outlast just about anyone. Another reason for your slowness to make
changes is your very strong need for security. You are most comfortable in
stable, relatively unchanging conditions and you also have a strong desire for
tangible security - a home of your own, money in the bank, job security, etc.
The other side of your steadiness is that you easily get caught in a rut and
will stay in a familiar situation (be it job, marriage, or whatever) long after
it has lost its vitality and interest.
You have a keen appreciation of the natural world and get much happiness from
simple creature comforts and the physical world, with all of its myriad
delights. You are quite sensual in a very natural, wholesome way and you know
how to enjoy yourself. You are appealing to the opposite sex in an earthy way.
You are also a great lover of beauty and your tastes are basically conventional
or classic - not modern.
You are mentally active and restless and you like to talk, communicate, and
exchange ideas with others. You express yourself well, and are suited to
activities that involve presenting ideas to other people, such as teaching,
sales, etc.
You appear sympathetic and approachable. Because you use your feelings and
intuition in assessing people, others sense that you understand their feelings
or their personal situations. At the same time you really want people to know
how you feel, and their care and support are very important to you.
You may be seen as the wild card, the unpredictable or kooky one, because
occasionally you do surprising things that are either totally out of character
or are actually intended to shock people. There is an erratic quality or
rebelliousness that comes across at odd moments. It seems to be your role to
shake things up a bit and you may not be entirely comfortable with this
yourself.
You tend to be somewhat insecure with other people and strive for safety and
security in your life. Acquiring possessions and property is important to you,
and you have a strong desire to make a distinguished impression on others.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
The way you appear or come across to others is very congruent with your true
nature so "what you see is what you get". The description below reinforces what
you read about yourself in the previous chapter. If at all possible, you should
avoid living in large cities, as you need natural surroundings.
You are a steadfast and patient soul, capable of tremendous devotion,
dedication, endurance, and constancy. The ability to follow through and stick
with things is one of your greatest assets. Once your course is set, you pursue
it tenaciously until it is completed, stubbornly resisting any attempts to sway
you from your purpose.
You have a very practical nature and want to see concrete, tangible results for
your efforts, and you are not one for spinning wild dreams that are unlikely to
come into fruition. Most of your "wild dreams" have to do with material
achievements, well-being, and security, for you have a great love of the
physical world and you want to experience and enjoy it to the full. Though you
will work long and persistently, you also have a strong sensual and
comfort-loving side, and you want to enjoy what you have worked for. In fact,
you can be enormously lazy at times and have a tendency to overindulge in good
food and other earthly pleasures. You also love the beauty of the natural world
and probably prefer a serene country setting rather than an urban life style.
At heart your needs are simple and you are easy to please. You have a strong
desire for security, stability, and peace, and will rarely make changes unless
you are forced to do so. You are not very demanding emotionally, though you do
crave lots of physical closeness and affection. Because of your faithfulness,
emotional steadiness, and gentle strength, others often depend upon you for
support. Though you hate upheaval and sudden changes, you usually maintain your
poise and equanimity. You also have an innate sense of harmonizing with nature,
allowing things to grow and unfold in their own time, and the patience to
nurture something into being - be it a garden, a child, or some creative
project. You make an excellent mother or father, especially if you follow your
instincts more often than "the experts".
You have three major faults: one is your bullheaded obstinacy. The second is
your unwillingness to deviate from your safe, predictable routine. And the third
is your tendency to always insist upon realism and undervalue the imaginative,
speculative, and fanciful - in other words, you lack the ability to play with
ideas and possibilities, to open your mind to the new.
You tend to get involved in the helping professions or in activities where your
efforts are hidden, behind the scenes, unacknowledged, or unknown to the public.
Asserting yourself or getting up in front of an audience may be exceedingly
uncomfortable for you.
You have a healthy amount of self-control and self-discipline. You also radiate
a rather responsible, trustworthy, solid feeling about yourself which will win
you the confidence of others, especially your superiors.
While you are realistic and conscientious (or overly conscientious), as
described above, you also have an otherworldly, dreamy, or mystically-inclined
side, as described below.
You tend to be very impressionable and psychically open, and as a youngster, you
could have been dominated by more forceful personalities. Afraid of
confrontation, you may have become passive, identified yourself as a helpless
victim, or tried to gain your desires in underhanded ways.
Your hypersensitivity to your environment is apt to be a challenge for you in
other ways as well. Pollutants, ugliness, or dissonance in any form is apt to
affect you more than most people.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities
Your mind operates in a very deliberate and methodical manner and you dislike
being rushed or forced to give an opinion before you have thoroughly ruminated
and digested an idea. You are also difficult to influence once your mind is made
up.
Though slower to grasp new concepts or learn new skills, you are patient and
persevering and, in fact, often become quite adept at whatever you put your mind
and hand to, for you are willing to devote much time and attention to it. You
succeed not so much because of your mental brilliance, but because you have the
ability to concentrate and follow a project through to its completion. You have
an aptitude for singing or drawing.
You don't speak up readily, even when you have a lot to say! Also, your mind
tends to drift and you find it difficult to study very factual material that
doesn't have much color or imaginative appeal. Your intuition and first
impressions are likely to be quite accurate, however, and you tend to depend
upon this faculty in making decisions.
You would be an excellent teacher or counselor for you listen sympathetically,
and encourage others to express their inner thoughts and feelings. People trust
and confide in you, and you are able to read between the lines and to sense what
their feelings are as well as what they are saying. You work well with and
understand women, and the emotional, feminine side of life. You are articulate
on personal (rather than factual or technical) subjects. Keeping a diary or
journal would be satisfying for you. You also have a talent for learning
languages.
You are somewhat restless and in constant search for variety and change.
Cautious in one way and optimistic in another, you frequently change your mind
and your philosophy of life. You may prefer mental work and are likely to choose
a scientific field.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
Serious and responsible, you try to carry the world on your shoulders and rarely
let others know that you need help and support. You deny or ignore your own
emotional needs and feel that others will not accept you if you appear "weak".
You are especially uncomfortable with emotional dependency, and will tell
yourself and others (even children) not to be a "baby". You need to accept that
no one is self-sufficient all the time, and to be gentler with your "childish"
emotional needs and wants. To others, you may appear to be rather hard-nosed and
tough, with a businesslike attitude toward their personal concerns and feelings.
Actually, no one is a truer friend. Your feelings and loyalties run deep, but
you often do not let people know how much you care. You also need to learn to
relax, enjoy yourself, and play sometimes.
You work well with the public and have an instinct for what the public wants and
will respond to. Having a "nest" is not especially important to you, and you may
invest more of your emotional energy into your career or public life than in
your private life. Providing for and caring for others in a professional
capacity is very likely.
You crave excitement, change, and discovery, and cannot tolerate a routine or
lifestyle that offers little in the way of surprise or challenge. Excitable,
spontaneous, and enthusiastic about anything new, you may be perceived by others
as being too impulsive, especially in personal relationships. It is not easy for
you to make or keep commitments, since you don't know how you will be feeling
from one day to the next. Emotional freedom is very important to you. Your
domestic life can be very unstable -but you like it that way.
You are highly sensitive to everyone around you and are subject to strange moods
or feelings. You have a tendency to exaggerate and could have unrealistic
ambitions that may be hard to realize. It would be wise for you to keep your
expectations a bit lower.
In love, you are more interested in a person's sense of humor and intelligence
than in their physique. You like a partner who is mentally alive and who keeps
you guessing a little bit, and you become restless and bored with someone who
never asks questions, never changes or surprises you. Talking, sharing ideas,
going places together, and learning new things together is very important to
your happiness. You need lots of social stimulation, are something of a flirt,
and like to have many friends of both sexes. A possessive, jealous partner is
very stifling for you.
For you, caring and affection must be expressed tangibly, and you love giving
and receiving gifts. You value luxury, comfort, and elegance very highly and
appreciate beautiful things. You can be self-indulgent and extravagant. Being
overly possessive of people you love and of your belongings is something you
need to beware of.
Chronically discontented, you are likely to be somewhat unstable in matters of
love and affection. You tend to be on the defensive and fear rejection and lack
of acceptance. You have to learn to overcome your fears and general shyness with
people.
Your association with those around you may have a depressing influence on you
causing you to shy away from mutual participation of any kind. Finding it
difficult to express yourself emotionally, you are quite likely to become a
loner.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
You are noncombative, noncompetitive, and something of a pacifist. You will give
something up rather than fight for it. You may seem weak-willed or ineffectual,
for you do not have a strong ego drive for personal achievement and material
advantage, or for winning at the expense of someone else. Being first, being
best, being on top doesn't mean much to you, and you can be quite happy in a
supporting role, working for the benefit of others or for a cause that you
believe in. You are gentle and impressionable and are motivated by less mundane
and less tangible things than most other people. You may have difficulty
formulating clear, definite goals for yourself and making your way in the world.
You have many dreams, high ideals, and a strong mystical or religious impulse.
You also have a creative imagination and can successfully apply yourself to art
or music. You have a sensitive physique and need to maintain good regular health
habits in order build strength and stamina.
You are a team player and work well in collaboration with others who share your
goals, ideals, and intentions. You can coordinate group efforts and inspire
people to work toward a shared goal.
Team sports are also a lot of fun for you, and you could be a leader, coach, or
director of any group endeavor.
You possess the gifts of endurance and perseverance, the willingness to work
hard and seriously to achieve your objectives. Once you decide you want
something or make a commitment, you'll do it "even if it takes forever".
Self-discipline is natural to you and you instinctively realize that any
creative achievement is "10% inspiration, 90% perspiration". You choose
practical, realistic goals and pursue them step-by-step in a well-planned,
orderly way. You like to concentrate on one thing at a time and do a thorough
job. You enjoy working in solitude, and often feel your best work is done when
you are alone.
Ordinary life often seems drab and uninteresting to you and you must have
something that stirs your imagination, some vision or ideal or dream to motivate
you. You have a strong urge to act out your fantasies or to live your dream, and
you will DO things that others only talk about or dream about. Artistic
creation, drama, or other areas in which you can express yourself imaginatively
are excellent for you.
Work that serves only your own narrow personal interests does not satisfy you.
You may lack the competitive edge, the fighting spirit, the me-first attitude
that is often required for material advancement and success. You also tend to
either overestimate or underestimate your own power and abilities.
You tend to fantasize a lot about erotic and amorous romances. Try to keep your
expectations more realistic, otherwise your longing for love could end without
physical fulfillment. You love to daydream and live in a world of illusion and
find it hard to accept reality.
You are apt to receive much publicity and popularity through your professional
pursuits, for you have a way of winning the hearts and trust of many people. You
have an instinct for what the masses of people will respond to emotionally, and
this feeling-sense of what other people want enables you to succeed in sales,
promotion, and so on. Your career could also involve protecting and caring for
people, nurturing, "mothering" others in some capacity.
Your drives and ambitions in life may seem crazy or eccentric to the more
conservative people you know. There may well be no security or safety net (no
retirement pension, no insurance benefits) in the work you do. You are suited
for freelancing, or professions that involve lots of change, innovation,
variety, irregular schedules, and the like. Expect the unexpected and numerous
ups and downs in the course of your life. You may change course often, and try
many different things.
Fluidity of speech and thought, and using intellectual gifts or communicative
skills to achieve your ambitions in life are featured. Convincing, selling,
persuading, reasoning, bringing ideas into public awareness are also part of
your professional life.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
You believe strongly in the power of positivity and in each individual's ability
to make life anything desired through one's own initiative and effort. The more
you rely on yourself, the better you feel, and you find it difficult to ask for
or accept outside help. The joy of competing (and especially winning!) runs deep
in you.
You are drawn to social work, the ministry, giving your time and energy to
charitable organizations, or to serving and helping the disadvantaged in some
way. Your generosity and unselfishness will bring you and others much good.
Your fortunes are apt to fluctuate wildly throughout your life. You can make and
lose fortunes rather easily, due to your risk-taking, speculating, and rather
adventurous entrepreneurial endeavors. No matter how modest or "normal" your
appearance, you are actually inordinately ambitious, and lucky. You need a large
international arena in order to fulfill your ambitious and capacities. World
travel and foreign exchange figures prominently in this.
You are very broad-minded and tolerant, and you have a rich, colorful
imagination. You do not struggle with life as much as most people; you are
inclined to follow the path of least resistance.
You are psychologically balanced, have an abundance of feeling and just pour out
your happy feelings. Calm, optimistic and kind, you are loving and affectionate
to people around you. Your marriage and family life is likely to be happy and
fulfilling.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
You fear becoming emotionally dependent upon others, and may distance yourself
or deny your needs for closeness and intimacy so that you won't be vulnerable to
rejection or abandonment. On the other hand, you may cling excessively or need
constant reassurance from loved ones and family. Developing a deep, inner sense
of security, as well as the ability to give and receive nurturing are important
tasks for you.
You are serious-minded and may have difficulty making light social conversation
or participating in friendly, personal interchanges.
You try to be strictly accurate and are critical of people who exaggerate or
talk on subjects they really know little about. You withhold your thoughts and
opinions until you have thought everything through quite thoroughly, and
sometimes your silence discomforts others.
Your mental concentration is very good but your breadth of understanding may not
be.
You have an inner conflict between idealism, hope, and faith in the future
versus doubt and oppression by limitations and practical realities. You need to
develop discipline and patience in order to achieve your aspirations. You will
grow by learning to accept frustration and to persevere in spite of obstacles.
At times you struggle with nebulous worries and insecurities, fears which may be
difficult to name. Mostly, you may be afraid of getting acquainted with the
inner workings of your mind and soul, feeling uneasy with anything irrational or
intangible. You have to work hard to overcome being overly serious regarding the
spiritual side of life, especially if your religious upbringing emphasized guilt
and retribution. Reorienting yourself in the direction of spiritual optimism
will do much to lift the cloud of worry that settles over you occasionally.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually
revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are
apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you
need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is
also described.
It is easy for you to become distracted from your purpose by the multitude of
interesting choices, possibilities, and options available to you. You need to
develop single mindedness and focus. Until you direct your attention to some of
the big questions, such as "What is my life's purpose?" "What is really
important to me and essential to my happiness?", you are apt to dabble, to
scatter your energies in many directions engaging in activities which are
entertaining but which are ultimately not fruitful or nourishing.
Having an overall vision for your life and aligning your daily activities so
that they support rather than detract from your larger purpose, is a significant
step in your unfoldment.
The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in your marriage
and other intimate, one-to-one relationships. You may see the qualities you need
to develop more fully (described above) in your partner. It is important for you
to recognize, appreciate, and listen to the people in your life who express such
attributes, as well as developing them yourself. Put energy and attention into
learning about others, and about yourself through others.
You have a friendly, open and sociable manner and a strong desire to cultivate
contact with warm and congenial people. You may enjoy participating in artistic
events and like to associate with art lovers.
You have the power to influence people to your way of thinking and may
forcefully try to obtain the leadership in your community. Others can't help
noticing you, and you probably will be the leader in any clubs or associations
you may decide to join.

Chapter 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive
Your work habits may be unstructured and you may find it difficult to settle
down to a routine task or work situation.
You are interested in new technologies or unusual, even revolutionary methods of
solving problems in your work. Nontraditional methods of healing and medicine
also fascinate you. You may work in an alternative health field or work for
change and reform in whatever field you choose.
You often have very naive, idealistic, or overly romantic attitudes toward
people, and it's difficult for you to see others realistically. You may prefer
to keep your relationships on an idealistic or platonic level, so that you don't
have to deal with the more prosaic, earthy, human aspects of relating.
Thoroughly investigate potential marriage or business partners, as your
gullibility and desire to see only the best in people may blind you to the truth
about others with whom you form a close alliance.
You can become obsessed with your health, self-improvement and personal
development. The psychological elements of disease interest you, and you may
endlessly psychoanalyze yourself and others.
Also, you may work compulsively and exhaust yourself through overwork. You can
be a tyrant with co-workers, and it may be easier for you to work in solitude.
You tend to underestimate your ability to succeed and are often unable to follow
through on your intentions. You are quick to resign, easily drained and should
guard against depression and negative mental, emotional or physical reactions.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group
In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation.
Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but
you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.
The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In
this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age
group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power,
and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second
topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the
dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and
last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes
areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and
also where it may be unstable and unreliable.
The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere
from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological
factors described in each of the three sections below.
The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
You are part of a 12 year group of people who are deeply interested in personal
relationships. Your age group has a deeply-rooted yearning to see people
relating and communicating with each other effectively and harmoniously. There
is little egotism and a willingness to hear the other person's side of the story
and a readiness to compromise and arbitrate different points of view. In fact,
the need for harmonious, peaceful relationships is so strong that there is a
tendency to overlook real differences and to focus only on the similarities in
an attempt to bring different parties into harmony with each other.
Interest in psychology and sociology is high in your age group. There is a
tremendous heightening of awareness of social skills. Your age group will
experiment with different marriage styles, family relationships, and even
business relationships in an attempt to bring fair treatment and effective
communication between people. Interest and appreciation for other cultures is
also strong, and your age group will work hard to preserve and support the
cultural heritage of all ethnic groups.
Your strong yearning for equitable and harmonious relationships is also
reflected in major advancements in trade agreements, arms control, and
international cooperation that are designed and implemented by your generation.
These agreements and policies foster a much safer and more cooperative
environment for all, although there is also a tendency for greedy individuals to
take advantage of the conciliatory atmosphere and twist situations to their own
ends.
In short, you are part of a generation of individuals who are deeply interested
in other people; you are a humanistic and humanitarian group. You will struggle
and experiment with personal relationships, and forge new models for how people
can relate as friends, family members, and members of nations as well.
The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group
You are part of a 14 year group of people that are extremely idealistic and
farsighted in their dreams. Your age group is very liberal and expansive in
outlook, and consequently churches become much more flexible and more eclectic
in their approach during your life time. Religions that do not adapt to the
broad-minded attitude of your age group simply are unable to attract very much
interest and involvement from you.
A great deal of metaphysical musing and speculation is evident in your age
group, and there is a very strong interest in all manner of psychic phenomena,
UFO's, prophecy, etc. This interest will open many new doors and insights, but
will also often lead to a great deal of fantasizing and speculation that is
taken more seriously than it should be.
What is New and Different in Your Age Group
You are part of a 7 year group of people who strive for greater equality in
relationships. You treat parents, children, and spouses much more like friends
and equals than other generations do, and many of you will experiment with
alternative marriage styles that allow for greater freedom and equality in
relationships.
