The interpretation of your astrology chart begins on the following page.
You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple language, uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to contradict another statement, then you exhibit these opposite qualities at different times in your life. For example, a statement that you are highly sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both sociability and solitude at different times.
The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.
If you find this
interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative, you might want
to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to learn more about
the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics
Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth (practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).
Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that dimension of life.
Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following chapters.
You prize personal independence and autonomy so much that you're apt to downplay your needs for closeness and caring. While you express indignation, anger, excitement, or enthusiasm rather freely, you hide your feelings of sadness or inadequacy. You may dismiss your own and others' feelings as insignificant and unimportant. Letting others know when you are hurting and need their support and help is hard for you because you feel that they will not respect you if you display this sort of vulnerability.
Striving to be (and often believing yourself to be) emotionally self-sufficient limits your ability to be truly intimate with others and to get the nurturing you need. You are also often rather insensitive to how your behavior affects other people.

Fire is Strong, Water is Weak (F,E,A,W Scores = 27,14,6,2)
Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others
The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3 you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.
High-spirited, enthusiastic, and exuberant, you love adventure, change, exploring new territory, and are not happy confined to the same safe, familiar, secure little world all the time. You have a strong restlessness and yearning for something greater than anything you've yet experienced, and you often live in your dreams and visions for the future. You tend to believe that the grass is greener somewhere else and you like to keep moving, either literally or figuratively. Idealistic and optimistic, you always expect something better ahead. You love to have a goal, something to aim for, but once you achieve it you are on to something else. You are ever on the lookout for new opportunities and you are a gambler, willing to take risks and to break new ground. The possibility of discovering something new is what makes life interesting for you. You have great faith in life and bounce back quickly from disappointment and failure.
Freedom-loving and independent, you cannot tolerate being caged for very long, and friends and loved ones must respect your need for freedom of movement. Binding commitments and responsibilities often weigh heavily upon you and you may resist "growing up" and taking on the limitations of adult life.
You are friendly and outgoing and have a great sense of fun and playfulness. You are also philosophically minded and often quite outspoken about your convictions and beliefs. Sometimes you get carried away with your enthusiasm of the moment and you tend to exaggerate. You are often a big talker, a big maker of promises, and you are usually pretty convincing. You do everything in a big way, a generous way. You like to have the best, and you heartily dislike stinginess, littleness, or pettiness. Your vision is always large. You are able to perceive the big picture, general patterns and principles, and are well suited to politics, business, higher education or religion.
Other people see you as a good sport and a good friend, but one who is not always consistent and dependable. You may also be seen as a wise person since you do not get bogged down in pettiness and trivialities, and are able to communicate a larger way of looking at situations, one that opens up new potentials. You are a person who believes in miracles, grace, or just plain good luck, someone who never gives up on life, and you inspire and encourage others to keep looking forward.
You appear confident and self-assured and you make a clear, strong impression on others. You are very concerned with the impact you make on others and with getting personal recognition, sometimes too much so. You tend to dominate in relationships and to be oblivious to others' points of view if they differ very much from your own.
You seem quirky, unusual, offbeat and "different". Sometimes it seems you are trying to provoke people and upset the status quo just by being yourself. You tend to be restless, excitable, and somewhat ungrounded or nervous as well.
There is a certain depth and intensity about you that may be threatening to others. No matter how gentle or unassuming you may be on the surface, you are also a force to be reckoned with. You have causes, passions, or desires that drive you and when one of these is aroused you are quite zealous in your pursuit or defense of it.
You have good organizing ability and know how to arrange everything skillfully. Happy in team-work and adept in negotiating, you can lead successful business meetings. You can easily obtain all the information you need in order to make the best deal.
You strongly resent daily routine and are always ready and willing to challenge life. Responding quickly to people around you, you spontaneously connect with them and tend to become stimulated through them.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
Many of the traits described in Chapter 2 are emphasized again below. Your enthusiasm and outgoing, forward-looking nature is a gift, but also be wary of the tendency to overlook details and be oblivious to others' personal feelings.
You are a gambler and an adventurer at heart, one who loves to take risks, to discover and explore new worlds, and to take the untried path rather than the safe, reliable one. You are an independent soul, freedom-loving, and often very restless. You need a lifestyle that provides opportunities for travel, movement, change, and meeting new people. A steady routine which offers much in the way of security but little in the way of space and freedom is odious to you.
To you, life is a journey, an adventure, endlessly interesting and rich with possibilities, and it may be difficult for you to decide where to focus your attention and efforts. You probably traveled around and experimented with many different paths before you settled on a particular career. Or you may go from one project to the next, for once the challenge and vital interest is gone, you are very quick to move on. Commitment, discipline, focus, and concentration are not your strong points. You can be irresponsible and disinclined to take on the burdens and limitations of adult life.
An incurable optimist, you have big dreams, aspirations, and hopes for the future and are usually pursuing some distant goal. You have a great deal of faith and trust in life and failures don't crush your spirit. You always bounce back from disappointments, often with another bright dream or scheme. You have a sporting, playful attitude toward life and are philosophical about your mistakes. You have the ability to sense future trends, to see the big picture, and you like to theorize and speculate. However, attending to all of the details and practical requirements of implementing your theories is bothersome to you.
You express yourself in a very open, direct, and straightforward manner and are often blunt and tactless as well. Because you do not take yourself too seriously, you may not realize how deeply your candid statements can wound more sensitive souls. In fact, though you may not realize it, your insensitivity and lack of understanding regarding others' feelings is probably one of your worst faults.
You do enjoy friendship and camaraderie, but you need freedom also and do not do well with a possessive, clinging, or emotionally demanding partner. You are quite generous yourself, and heartily dislike pettiness in others. Someone who shares your ideals, your sense of fun, and your zest for life would be the right companion for you.
You tend to get involved in the helping professions or in activities where your efforts are hidden, behind the scenes, unacknowledged, or unknown to the public. Asserting yourself or getting up in front of an audience may be exceedingly uncomfortable for you.
Impulsive, restless, and spontaneous, your life is apt to be somewhat unstable and full of sudden changes. You are extremely independent and crave excitement, adventure, freedom, and discovery. You have a rebellious streak and often feel you are unusual and different from the mainstream of society. The unorthodox and novel appeal to you.
You are apt to be a fanatic in some way, and cannot go halfway in anything you do. Your extremism may seem (and actually be) obsessive and somewhat blind. That is, you don't always consciously understand why you feel as driven or intense about a given course of action as you do. There is a strong element of fate or inevitability in your life. A significant death or loss in your life is apt to profoundly influence you and shape important decisions in your life, and you may consciously seek out intense, life-or-death experiences as well.
You probably have great intellectual ability and curiosity. You never seem to run out of ideas and always welcome the study of new subjects, the more abstract the better. But you also have the basic sense to translate abstract ideas into practical reality.
You tend to become excited and upset at the slightest cause, generating tension with others. You also could encounter strange experiences or coincidences with others. You may have a feeling of being different than others and want to be your own person.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities
You possess vision and foresight, and your mind is often occupied with big ideas, plans, and goals for the future. You are interested in what is possible and what is on the horizon, rather than what has already been done. The study of philosophy, religion, politics, or education is of interest to you, and you are more concerned with theories and concepts than with specific applications. You are not inclined to focus on any one practical, concrete area; you find it irksome to deal with details and particulars. You have a gambling instinct and enjoy speculative enterprises and new ventures. Business, advertising, and promotion would be good areas for you also.
You are quite verbal and communicative and eager to get your own ideas and opinions across to others. You say what is on your mind. Others see you as a lively, intelligent person, and perhaps something of a chatterbox at times.
You are not interested in subjects that are wholly abstract or technical. There must be a personal, human element to evoke your interest. Your interest is people and their inner motivations, feelings, personal lives, and experiences. You are a natural listener with a talent for getting others to talk about their lives, dreams, desires - the things that are personally meaningful to them. You could also be an excellent writer, reporter, or biographer.
You have a particular interest in the past. You are concerned either with personal history (childhood and early family experiences, genealogy, etc.) or with the roots and origins of societies (archeology, mythology, history, etc.).
You are nostalgic and love to hear others' life stories and to discuss your own experiences and feelings. You like to read biographies and memoirs, and probably keep a diary or journal yourself. You also have the ability to be a successful public speaker.
You are an original thinker, capable of unique discoveries and innovations, but you tend to scatter your energies in too many directions at once and to make impulsive or hasty decisions. You grasp ideas very quickly and become impatient with duller or more conservative minds. A fast-moving, mentally stimulating, and unpredictable atmosphere suits you quite well, even though you may complain about the stress and the crazy pace. You have a technical bent and are interested in the newest scientific theories and findings, electronics, computers, etc.
You are open and receptive to subjects which defy rational explanation, such as psychic phenomena, mental telepathy, metaphysics, etc., and you could teach these subjects to others. Your mind is imaginative and inspired and you have an aptitude for art and creative writing.
You have a charming disposition and love to socialize and meet new people. You also like to be surrounded by beautiful things and like to talk to others about your views on love problems as well as your views on beauty, fashion and art in general.
You are mentally active and always seeking new and different avenues of self-expression. Restless, touchy and impulsive, you probably will have to learn compromise in your dealings with others. You tend to have an unusual domestic life.
You are a social and entertaining person and prefer to talk about beauty, love and art when you are in conversation with others. Courteous and polite, you are well-liked by everyone.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
You are very sensitive, cautious, and shy about showing others your feelings. Though you may love and care for someone a great deal, you rarely express those feelings openly and freely. Very often your love for someone will be expressed by trying to help them, doing something tangible to benefit them, or serving them in some way.
It is also difficult for you to receive warmth, affection, or appreciation, for you often feel that you don't really deserve it or that "they don't really mean it". You can therefore seem rather cool and aloof, much more so than you feel.
A deeply ingrained critical attitude often makes you difficult to live with. You need to learn to be gentler and less of a perfectionist with others and with yourself.
You may have done extensive traveling in your early years, or in some way had a background which enables you to understand and identify with many different types of people or cultures.
You have a craving for things which are far away and foreign or for things you have never experienced before. You want to completely immerse yourself in the feelings and tastes of a new place, rather than simply have facts or an intellectual appreciation. Emotionally, too, you are restless and something of a wanderer.
You have a very rich emotional life and the ability to do the right thing at the right moment. Through an appeal to the feelings, you are able to influence the public; you may have the desire to work in some capacity to bring about social improvements.
You tend to be a bit pessimistic and are inclined to feel emotional depressed a lot. You may feel like withdrawing from everything, but should try to listen to others' point of view in order to balance your overly pessimistic views.
You are definitely not one to wear your heart on your sleeve. You care very much about others' opinions and crave love and appreciation as much as anyone, but one would never know it from your reserved and seemingly detached appearance. Casual, superficial relationships don't interest you at all. You are cautious and serious about love and really desire a deep, genuine, lasting love. You are old-fashioned about courtship and love, and will remain faithful to your loved one in good times and in bad.
You may be attracted to persons older than yourself, someone who is emotionally mature and reliable and who can provide the security you desire.
You are very much aware of your personal appearance, attractiveness, and charm, and you can be rather narcissistic. On the other hand, you are concerned with getting along with others and you have a pleasing, agreeable manner that people find quite appealing. You use tact or charm to get what you want rather than intense effort or force. Your desire for love and affection colors everything you do.
You have a great rapport with the opposite sex, and love, romance, and passion are absolutely vital to your well-being. It is rare for you to go very long without an intimate companion. The physical component of a relationship is very important to you. Artistic creations and projects are another way for you to channel your passion.
In love and romance, it's important for you to be able to deeply respect your partner. You look beyond the superficial qualities to see their inner worth (or lack thereof), before you let yourself really fall for someone. In fact, too much glamour or flashiness is something of a turn-off to you. You are capable of a mature, lasting loving relationship and seek a mate who is deep, loyal, and committed. You may be drawn to someone older than yourself.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
You seesaw between being too pushy, confrontational, and insistent on doing things your way, and being too eager to please, without a clear, definite goal of your own. You strive for a balance between acting independently and assertively - and working cooperatively and interdependently with others. You may feel frustrated at times that you cannot simply do what YOU want to, that you must always accommodate the needs and desires of others. Or you may feel hesitant to act in a positive, assertive manner if you do not have the support and approval of other people. Either way, you are not a loner. You achieve your goals by collaborating and joining forces with others, by being a team player. You are very concerned with the concept of fairness and become quite indignant and vocal if you sense someone is being taken advantage of. You avoid extremism and favor a balanced, moderate approach to living. You are unlikely to push yourself too hard or to become fanatically driven to reach your goals.
You are a team player and work well in collaboration with others who share your goals, ideals, and intentions. You can coordinate group efforts and inspire people to work toward a shared goal.
Team sports are also a lot of fun for you, and you could be a leader, coach, or director of any group endeavor.
You are very serious about reaching your goals and feel that keeping your nose to the grindstone is the only way to do it. Hard work, persistent effort, and concentration upon a single objective are the ways you achieve your aims in life. You exercise great self-control, even self-denial, in order to accomplish what you desire. You meet obstacles stoically and will struggle patiently through difficult circumstances. You feel that you must rely on yourself alone, that it's all on your shoulders, and you can be a harsh disciplinarian, expecting far too much from yourself and others. Often you hold yourself back, doubting your own power and ability. You may feel that you meet great resistance whenever you try to assert yourself or take initiative, and that is very frustrating to you. However, you have the power of endurance and a dogged determination to overcome all obstacles.
An intense team-worker, you are likely to realize plans that you make in common with others. You may prefer to work with partners rather than alone and could form an association with someone for the purpose of working together.
You are able to see your objectives in life very clearly and want to create your own good fortune. Quite energetic, you may want to express yourself creatively. Inviting good cooperation with others, you are likely to achieve much popularity.
You are apt to receive much publicity and popularity through your professional pursuits, for you have a way of winning the hearts and trust of many people. You have an instinct for what the masses of people will respond to emotionally, and this feeling-sense of what other people want enables you to succeed in sales, promotion, and so on. Your career could also involve protecting and caring for people, nurturing, "mothering" others in some capacity.
You tend to want to take the easy road to success, and unless other factors in your chart suggest a capacity for effort or a lot of energy, laziness could interfere with achieving whatever ambitions you have. You tend to gain your objectives through your personal charm and appeal. You also possess a fine aesthetic sense which could be a prominent factor in your career.
The road to success, professional advancement, and fulfillment of your long-range goals is apt to be easier and smoother for you than for many. Partly this is due to getting a great deal of support -- financial, emotional, or both. Probably someone early in your life really believed in you and had high expectations for you. You contribute to your own success by having large goals, and by including, helping and enlisting the aid of friends and others in reaching those goals. A lack of selfishness or pettiness is a great boon to you. Whatever you do is apt to be expansive and eventually quite prosperous.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
Your strength lies in your ability to see the whole, rather than only the parts which compose it. You have a deep need to explore the world and to develop your own philosophy of life and sense of personal meaning. You vacillate between being open-minded and tolerant of differing views, and being dogmatic or overly zealous about your own viewpoint.
You are drawn to social work, the ministry, giving your time and energy to charitable organizations, or to serving and helping the disadvantaged in some way. Your generosity and unselfishness will bring you and others much good.
You always seem to be in a state of hope and expectation, but tend to rely on others to help you along. Your luck or good fortune could come in strange ways, and you accept what comes your way without thinking much about it.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
You take your personal relationships so seriously that they may seem more like work, constant effort, and compromise, rather than a free and enjoyable sharing. You may feel that relationships in general require more of you than they are worth, and you enter into any close relationship cautiously and conscientiously. You also fear entrapment in close relationships.
You are generally not a "joiner" and do not feel comfortable in clubs, organizations or other groups of people that are centered around some common ideal or interest. If you do participate in a group, you may find the rules and procedures restrictive - or you may simply feel that you do not fit in with the others.
Being alone or with older, more experienced people suits you better than being with groups of your own peers.
You tend to have inner conflicts between your responsibilities and what you would like to do. You may weigh your duties against your desires and may find that you are wanting, making it very difficult for you to be truly happy.
Basically shy, you may become a bit inhibited when talking with other people. You tend to withdraw from others and like to live a humble, quiet live in seclusion. You may get involved with a group of a secretive nature, although not one to join groups in general.
Although you generally are happy, at times you could become a bit inhibited and because of this, you may let good opportunities slip by occasionally. Although you are interested in people, you also tend to seek seclusion periodically.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also described.
Your natural instinct, especially when under stress, is to passively flow along with whatever is easiest, not clearly analyzing or assessing your situation and perhaps even trying to escape seeing your situation clearly by indulging in fantasies, intoxicants, and the like. Dreaminess and impracticality, being unfocused and undefined (at least in certain areas) are ways you cope with stress. You also have trouble setting boundaries and saying no.
Your path of development lies in cultivating discrimination and clarity, becoming more precise, developing technical and practical skills that will enable you to function more efficiently in the world. Finding a way to be of practical service is also important.
The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in developing a personal vision or philosophy of life, whether this be through religious or philosophical studies, a broadening education, or visiting and drawing upon the wisdom in distant lands or cultures. Cultivate the qualities described above in this endeavor. Long distance communication and involvement with foreigners is likely to be significant to you.
You may have the feeling that you constantly have to surrender to the wishes of other people and give the impression of being passive or indifferent when you are with others. You never take the initiative and depend on the support of groups you are affiliated with.
You have a strong desire to break records and set an example for others through your own achievements. You tend to spur others on to improve results and your association with others is for the purpose of bettering conditions.
Because of some other people and circumstances around you, at times you may find it difficult to follow your ambitions. It could be to your advantage to sever your relationship with those controlling or trying to abuse you.

Chapter 9: Originality and
Imagination
Areas Where You Are
Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive
You grasp new concepts quickly and are interested in new technologies, discoveries, and innovations. Unconventional ideas and creative, original approaches to problems are very attractive to you also. You are easily bored and may have trouble concentrating on one idea or task at a time. You have an inventive mind.
You have a very active imagination and powerful fantasies. You may develop an interest in the supernatural, psychic phenomena, or occult subjects. You may have strange fantasies and/or nebulous fears of "ghosts", "the astral plane", or death. It's better for you not to dabble in such areas unless you are thoroughly grounded in the practical world as well.
Emotional intensity, compulsive attraction, and a sense of fate or destiny characterize your one-to-one relationships. It's as if you simply cannot have light, superficial relationships; they are inevitably profound, intense experiences which reveal your depths to you. You may be drawn to powerful, charismatic, willful people that challenge, thwart, and ultimately evoke your own power and strengths. Your marriage is likely to be the arena for your greatest growth.
You are a bit restless and are likely to join groups or associations to release the excitability you feel. You can attract attention and have the ability to stimulate groups as well as challenge them.
You are inclined to be very imaginative and likely to have occasional clairvoyant visions. But you should beware of strange pursuits that could lead you on the wrong path and eventual disappointments.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group
In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation. Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.
The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power, and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and also where it may be unstable and unreliable.
The characteristics
described below may affect a group of people for anywhere from a few years to
about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological factors described
in each of the three sections below.
The Subconscious and
Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
You are part of a 25 year group of people who have strong feelings for home and country. You are a sentimental group, and feel deeply attached to your family and your country. You cling to the familiar, are distrustful and fearful of different cultures, and consequently a great deal of racial and ethnic prejudice is common among your age group.
Your need for closeness and togetherness runs very deep and causes you to bond closely to family members and old friends, and also makes you prone to be involved in mass movements and group activities because they feed your largely subconscious need for acceptance and support by others. Unfortunately, your age group is easily carried away by a group frenzy and many of you often lack the integrity or courage to think and act in an independent and rational way.
Your generation is very emotional and tenderhearted. Many of your group sacrificed a great deal to help your children or other family members, while other generations are unwilling to give as much as you have. Your tender feelings and regard for the well-being of others can spur your age group to make contributions towards the feeding of the hungry, care for the neglected, and support for the needy, particularly children and mothers. You are a group of people with a strong heart and a helpful hand. Many of you have parents and/or children who are not nearly as supportive and helpful; many of your contributions are not completely appreciated or even go unnoticed.
You were also born during
a period that lasted approximately 5 years and is characterized by a very
dynamic and competitive spirit. From your age group come many reformers and
dynamic personalities who introduce fundamental changes in every area of life,
whether it be science, politics, etc. You are part of a dynamic wave of highly
spirited individuals who are very progressive. You have the opportunity to be
part of efforts to introduce a great deal of reform, most of which will be
positive and constructive.
The Ideals and Illusions
of Your Age Group
You are part of a 14 year
group of people that have a very vivid and colorful imagination. A love of
color, fashion, and drama is very strong. Your generation gave tremendous
impetus and growth to Hollywood movies and other spectacular arts. Most people
of your age group have many fantasies and naive, starry-eyed ideas about movie
stars and other idols. Needless to say, this tendency to idolize someone can
lead to big disappointments and those of you who married early in life
projected your fantasies on your spouse, and had to gradually face the
realities as you matured.
What is New and Different
in Your Age Group
You are part of a 7 year group of people who are very creative in the arts, music, literature, and philosophy. Your age group draws upon some new inspirations and has a talent for weaving many seemingly disparate styles into a new, refreshing synthesis. Much of the creative inspiration of your period is very refined and sensitive, and some of the greatest artistic and literary works of your generation will receive full recognition only after many decades have passed. You are a group that is primarily concerned with the quality of your creative endeavor rather than its distribution and marketing.
