The interpretation of your astrology chart begins on the following page.
You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple language, uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to contradict another statement, then you exhibit these opposite qualities at different times in your life. For example, a statement that you are highly sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both sociability and solitude at different times.
The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.
If you find this interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative, you might want to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to learn more about the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics
Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth (practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).
Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that dimension of life.
Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following chapters.
At times you function like the bureaucratic committee who will discuss and study a situation endlessly before doing anything about it: you lack the drive, passion, or confidence to put your best ideas into action. You may be reluctant to act forthrightly without the reinforcement and agreement of others, seeking feedback and advice when you actually need to simply act on what you already know.
You need to develop a stronger sense of yourself, to build self-confidence, and to learn to be more self-motivated. Finding a source of inspiration for your life, something that warms you from within and gives life a sense of meaning, is also important for you.
As you will read in the next chapter, you actually come across to others in an intuitive, empathic way, but (as indicated here) you are quite capable of being cool and impartial - more so than you might seem.
Astrological influences analyzed in Chapter 1:
Air is Strong, Fire is Weak (F,E,A,W Scores = 1,4,31,13)
Air is Strong and Ascendant is in Water sign
Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others
The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3 you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.
You appear gentle and soft, and you act rather reserved with others until you know them well and feel it is safe to be open with them. You have a strong need for emotional security and a sense of belonging, and are deeply attached to the past: your heritage, roots, family, cherished friends, familiar places, etc. Making radical changes or moves away from what is known and safe can be very painful and difficult for you. You tend to cling and hold on to people, memories, possessions of personal or sentimental significance. Having a home, a safe haven, is very important to you.
You approach life emotionally and subjectively and are sensitive to the emotional atmosphere, the subtle undercurrents of feeling in and around you. Instinctive and nonrational, you are often unable to give a clear, simple explanation for your actions. Something FEELS right, or it doesn't.
Your emotions and personal loyalties tend to color your thoughts and opinions. You view life from a very personal perspective and often cannot mentally detach yourself from your own personal bias and prejudices. You are apt to be concerned primarily with how something affects you and those dear and close to you, rather than with the principle or the broader social implications. For instance, you may be very patriotic and feel that whatever "my country" does is right without really knowing much about the other nation's policies or point of view. Put simply: if it is good for me and mine, it is good. If it is not good for me and mine, it is no good.
You are tenaciously loyal, protective, and supportive of those you care about, and have a very strong nurturing, motherly nature (regardless of your gender). You empathize with others and intuitively sense the feelings and needs of other people. Compassionate and sympathetic, you are easily moved by others' pain, and you are often the one others seek out when they need comfort, reassurance, or help.
Your moods fluctuate and change frequently and you are sometimes open, sometimes withdrawn emotionally. You communicate nonverbally and appreciate a person who can pick up subtle cues and hints, rather than having to make everything explicit.
You never forget either kindness or unkindness shown to you.
You identify with the progressive, innovative elements in society, and with being a rebel, reformer, nonconformist, or iconoclast. You enjoy being original, unpredictable, and spontaneous, and insist on doing whatever you wish regardless of tradition, convention, or other people's wishes. Others see you as "different" but interesting and exciting.
You have a tendency to react violently to the influence of your surroundings and throw yourself headlong into everything you do, suffering the consequences later on. Until you learn to alter your conduct, there are likely to be many upsets in your environment.
You have a dynamic personality and great ability to improvise, but are likely to surprise, perplex or confuse people in your surroundings constantly. Your somewhat eccentric, impulsive and hasty actions could lead to accidents if you are not careful.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
While you appear gentle and soft and are emotionally supportive of others (as described in the previous chapter), you are also very curious and inquisitive, with a childlike interest in everything new. This combination makes you a winner with children because you share their curiosity and love of play, and you also empathize with them. Psychology is probably also an interest of yours, and you are very effective dealing with people on a one-to-one basis. You surprise people sometimes because behind your soft, rounded appearance you are quite sharp, quick and intelligent.
You are, in many ways, an eternal child. Your mind is bright, alert, curious, flexible, playful, and always eager for new experiences - and your attention span is often quite brief. You grasp ideas quickly and once your initial curiosity has been satisfied, you want to go on to something else. You crave frequent change, variety, meeting new situations and people.
It may be hard for you to decide just where your talents and true vocation lie, for you have a multitude of interests and are loathe to limit yourself by concentrating on just one. You are easily distracted by all of the other fascinating possibilities. Your curiosity and restlessness propel you into many different experiences in life, and you are willing to taste or try anything once. Doing the same thing over and over again, even it is something you do well, is real drudgery for you.
You live in your head a great deal - reading, observing, thinking, spinning ideas around - and you need mental stimulation every bit as much as you need food and drink. In fact, if you had to choose between a good book or movie and a good lunch, you would very likely choose the former. You have a creative mind and often live by your wits.
You are also a very social creature, with a strong need to communicate and to interact with people. You enjoy using and playing with words and have a real flair for getting your ideas across in a clever, interesting, articulate manner. Writing or speaking are areas you have talent for.
You also have a rather light and mischievous sense of humor, and often do not take anything too seriously. Though you crave emotional involvement, it is hard for you to achieve it, for you are frequently unwilling to commit yourself to anything, to take responsibility, or to limit your personal freedom and mobility.
Your happiness lies in using your creativity and your language skills to communicate something meaningful, to teach, inspire, or bring people together. You have an unbiased mind and can usually offer a fresh, clear, uncluttered perspective. Your faults are your lack of constancy and persistence, and your tendency to overlook or ignore deep emotional issues and other people's feelings.
You tend to get involved in the helping professions or in activities where your efforts are hidden, behind the scenes, unacknowledged, or unknown to the public. Asserting yourself or getting up in front of an audience may be exceedingly uncomfortable for you.
Realistic and practical, you set goals for yourself that are modest enough for you to actually achieve. You are able to tackle long, difficult projects and see them through, for you possess self-discipline, concentration, and perseverance. You also have a strong sense of responsibility and are very conscientious in fulfilling your obligations. Often you do things because you feel it is expected of you.
While you are realistic and conscientious (or overly conscientious), as described above, you also have an otherworldly, dreamy, or mystically-inclined side, as described below.
You are imaginative and sensitive to anything colorful, beautiful, or magical. You are attracted to artistic and creative pursuits, music, and mysticism. Your spiritual values color your whole perspective and approach to life. You are idealistic and perhaps impractical.
You undergo deep, transformative changes in your life with relative ease and a minimum of conscious resistance. Because you don't avoid the depths, you have access to a lot of personal power and strength. Without realizing it or seeking it, you're apt to have quite a potent effect on the people you come into contact with, even superficially. Others sense that you're a force to be reckoned with.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities
You are highly interested in inner, subjective, and personal issues, and your thinking is based more on feelings, intuition, personal experiences, and prejudices rather than reason or logic. Intellectual abilities and accomplishments without heart or soul mean little to you. You are empathic and would be an excellent counselor, for you are a sensitive listener and deeply interested in a person's feelings and inner life. In addition to psychology, you are drawn to education, art, poetry, music, or mythology. You are not especially confident about speaking in public, but will open up and share your thoughts in small, intimate groups. You enjoy keeping a diary or personal journal and reading the chronicles of others' lives and personal development.
You don't speak up readily, even when you have a lot to say! Also, your mind tends to drift and you find it difficult to study very factual material that doesn't have much color or imaginative appeal. Your intuition and first impressions are likely to be quite accurate, however, and you tend to depend upon this faculty in making decisions.
You appreciate aesthetics and have a fine sense of form, design, and beauty. You could develop great technical skill as an artist, designer, craftsman, or creative writer. You could also sell objects of beauty - artistic products, cosmetics, jewelry, etc.
You have the ability to please and harmonize well with others and a talent for assuaging strain in the relationship of two other people. Your sense of humor, tact, and personal charm are a great benefit to you in any work with people on a one-to-one level.
You want to be yourself and you have a need to assert your individuality. Acting independently, you want to do things immediately. There is a nervous energy about you that could lead to accidents, if you neglect to be careful.
You are likely to concentrate on yourself a lot and tend to have melancholic thoughts, at times even brooding over something. Preferring to be alone, you always make sure to have your own space. Very self-reliant, you have a need to work by yourself.
Although you are very perceptive and intuitive, you don't trust yourself and a bit insecure, you tend to accept other people's influence in your thinking. You seem to take on the feelings of those you associate with and should surround yourself with positive companions.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
You do not appear to be an intensely emotional or sentimental person, and you are often unaware of your own or other people's deeper feelings and emotional needs. Tears and tantrums bewilder you and make you very uncomfortable. You would rather settle differences by talking things out reasonably and rationally, but you tend to ignore or poke fun at any attempt to probe your own or others' inner depths.
You avoid heavy, demanding emotional involvement and are wary of making personal commitments.
You need plenty of mental stimulation and you feel close to people with whom you can share thoughts and mental interests. Conversation is very important to you. The strong, silent type of partner is not for you.
You get a lot of emotional fulfillment through your involvement in groups, clubs, organizations, community activities, or a network of close friends who support and care for you. You make friends your family, and feel a close kinship with people who share some ideals or beliefs that you hold dear. You need people outside of your physical family to relate to and belong to.
You are tolerant and forgiving, always ready to overlook mistakes and give others a second chance. You expect the best from people and draw it out of them, and you enjoy making others comfortable and happy. Because of your emotional generosity, your life is rich with friends, and often financial blessings as well.
You have a good perception and feeling of beauty and may have a talent for painting or drawing. You have a magnetic charm and are refined and calm when you are with people. You have the ability to win people over by what you say and how you say it.
In love, you are steadfast and loyal, especially if you have a warm, demonstrative partner. You are very sensually oriented and need lots of touching and physical affection. You enjoy being pampered with a good meal, loving massage, or other sensual delights. You are a wonderful lover, very attentive to the comfort and enjoyment of the one you love. You are tremendously responsive to beauty and physical appearances, and the physical attractiveness of your partner is very important to you.
You are a very sociable, congenial person and you wilt very quickly without the company of good friends and people to share good times with. You thoroughly enjoy working with others on group projects or community activities. You are quite happy when you are a part of a club, support group, or team of some sort.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
You are a "busy bee" - energetic, restless, and forever on the go. Your active mind is always buzzing with ideas and you find it difficult sometimes to relax, slow down, or take time to reflect and replenish yourself. You tend to live on nervous energy. You can accomplish much in short bursts but projects that require long-term commitment, stamina, and steady, persistent effort are not easy for you. You often scatter your energies into so many directions and activities at once that you cannot finish or follow through on some of them. You need variety, change, and mental challenges.
You have a sharp and eager mind, and you enjoy games and competitions that have a mental component. You like to match wits with someone else.
You often achieve your desires by your verbal skill, your ability to speak clearly, vigorously, and convincingly for what you want. Your drive and energy is more mental than physical. You use your wit, intelligence, communication skills, social sophistication, and awareness to achieve your goals.
Asserting yourself and being direct and forceful about what you want is very often difficult for you. Though you may have a great deal of energy and drive, you lack confidence or simply the desire to put yourself and your interests first. Positively you can be very unselfish, working more on behalf of others rather than for yourself.
You deny your own desires and needs too much, however, and you are likely to secretly become very angry, which will sabotage your finest efforts.
You are willing to fight your own battles and don't depend on others for support and encouragement. You have a tendency to think somewhat critically though, which could lead to arguments and quarrels.
Your self-control tends to be a bit weak and you seem to crave excitement. You are subject to sudden changes and seek emotional freedom. Your wants and needs tend to be different than those around you and others may think you are crazy because of your impulsive actions.
Your nature tends to be very sensual and you may irresistibly be attracted to someone, even if you know that he or she is bad for you. You also have a tendency toward jealousy, possessiveness and unwillingness to grant your partners freedom to be themselves.
Freedom is very important to you and you will work hard to get it. Quick to act, you want to realize your goals immediately. You have a strong desire to make your fortune in life and tend to take chances with speculative ventures or gambling.
You are capable of overcoming tremendous odds, and of enormous self-discipline and focus. When you set your sights on achieving something or are presented with a thorny challenge, it is your capacity for eliminating the superfluous, getting along with very little, and riding through tough times that enables you to triumph eventually.
You are intensely competitive, and may engage in furious battles of will, numerous conflicts, and possible public controversy, on your way to gaining your objectives. You could be drawn to activities that are dangerous, in the line of fire, so to speak. You put yourself on the line. Anger or recklessness could be your downfall.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
You have the ability to see connections between seemingly unrelated ideas or worlds, and to bring them together. You excel in any field requiring clear intellect, and verbal and communication skills. You have an insatiable curiosity and may read or watch television constantly in order to satisfy your need for mental stimulation. Your mind never stops.
You have good fortune working with groups, organizations, and others who share your ideals. You go further if you unite your efforts with others, as in clubs, networks, or civic associations. Social improvement, or benefiting your community is very important to you.
You are very social and likely to have harmonious relationships with other people. You enjoy large and luxurious surrounding and have a tendency to buy beautiful and expensive things. You like to show off a bit and have to guard against overspending.
You tend to have unusual objectives as well as unusual success. You have the ability to create concepts for reaching success and others recognize you for your personal accomplishments and achievements. You are likely to attain financial power.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
You take your personal relationships so seriously that they may seem more like work, constant effort, and compromise, rather than a free and enjoyable sharing. You may feel that relationships in general require more of you than they are worth, and you enter into any close relationship cautiously and conscientiously. You also fear entrapment in close relationships.
Your childhood or your relationship with your parents was restrictive, unloving, or unhappy in ways that may prevent you from allowing other people to get close to you in later life. You felt deprived in some manner, whether or not you actually were deprived in some way. Emotional separations or repression of your needs and feelings may typify your early life, at least as you remember it. Forgiving your parents and/or letting go of any resentments you have about the limitations you experienced early in your life is crucial. Also, you need to build your own solid foundation, and investing time and energy into your home, domestic relationships, and inner life can help you accomplish this.
You take your ideals and dreams very seriously, and you go through periods of fervent dedication to a lofty ideal or vision. You have the ability to gain some real depth in spiritual or imaginative areas, but you also can become so involved in your imaginative, idealistic pursuits that you lose perspective and develop feelings of alienation and isolation from others.
You become tense and upset rather easily. You become irritated by the unwillingness of others to make changes. Very serious about bringing your inspirations into concrete form, you are inclined to forego tact and diplomacy in order to accomplish your goals. Your occasional outbreaks of brusque, insensitive behavior often do more harm than good.
Basically shy, you may become a bit inhibited when talking with other people. You tend to withdraw from others and like to live a humble, quiet live in seclusion. You may get involved with a group of a secretive nature, although not one to join groups in general.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also described.
Your path lies in cultivating idealism and humanitarian feelings, being concerned with how your actions impact the world at large, perhaps becoming more aware of the social implications of your life style and personal choices or becoming active politically. Participating in organizations that support your ideals is one way to do this.
When under stress you are likely to become overly focused on yourself and your own little world.
Instead of "how will this benefit or hurt me?" your focus needs to shift to "how will this affect us all?".
Ideally, you need to strike a balance between doing for yourself and doing for others, by discovering how your unique gifts can contribute to the good of all.
The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in relationships that are more than superficial or casual - in particular where you and another have merged emotionally, legally, or financially. You will see these issues arise in close partnerships of any kind, especially when there is a mutual dependency on one another. Dealing with in-laws, inheritances, and legal matters involving joint custody, shared assets, and resources is also a part of this.
You constantly seem to be under tremendous pressure and want to achieve record performances. Having a strong desire to accomplish immense tasks in team-work with others, you have a tendency to demand too much of other people.

Chapter 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive
You are an unconventional and innovative person, and you are seen as a rebel, reformer, or highly unusual in your manners, appearance, or attitudes. You enjoy being unpredictable, and you do not conform to the standards that other people have set. Above all, you are an individual, and you do what you please regardless of customs and norms. Your environment and life circumstances may change frequently and abruptly.
Your childhood and early home life were colored by a great deal of confusion or by people with unusually active imaginations, aspirations, or fantasies. It is difficult for you to see your childhood and your relationship with your parents in a clear, realistic light. You may search for the ideal, loving home you wish you had, or believe you had, when you were a child. Finding inner peace and a sense of emotional security within yourself is important to you.
You are likely to have a fixation on money, wealth, and material resources. You may totally renounce material desires and ownership, or become obsessed with having, owning, and accumulating. Your attitudes towards owning, keeping, and sharing will undergo major changes in your lifetime, and your fortunes are likely to run very hot or very cold.
You may find it difficult to be around other people and tend to use little white lies to get out of appointments or meetings. Poor communication or misunderstandings with others always seems to leave you disappointed.
You are inclined to let others dominate you or use you and learning your own self-worth is one of the adjustments you need to make. On the other hand, there also is a possibility that you could appear dictatorial and too demanding of others.
You are extremely sensitive and inclined to compensate for your weaknesses through an accentuated vigorous appearance. Your upbringing may have lacked proper guidance; laissez faire on one hand, and too strict and over demanding on the other.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group
In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation. Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.
The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power, and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and also where it may be unstable and unreliable.
The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological factors described in each of the three sections below.
The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
You are part of a 20 year period that is often referred to as the "ME" generation, a generation that has a very proud and self-reliant attitude. You are a generation that is very concerned with self-development and personal integrity. Women's rights and minority rights are issues that your generation has fostered and they reflect your concern with individual respect, integrity, and honor. Your age group has a deeply felt sense that each person has an equal right and opportunity to fully develop his or her inner potential.
However, your group also finds it difficult to be part of a team and a strong egotism makes group efforts difficult; you tend to see the individual as more important than the group. You also defy authority and often feel that no one has the right to tell you what to do. The strong movement to refuse drafting into the military is one example of your age group's strong sense of individual rights and freedom.
Your age group has popularized the idea of self-development, and has contributed a great deal to the development of individual potential as well as human rights. However, there is also a tendency to be rather self-centered; others may wonder how you can spend so much time developing yourselves and have so little time to contribute to your families!
The interest in personal development also sometimes manifests as a fascination with particular individuals and a great deal of hero worship. Every generation, of course, has lots of idols, but your generation is particularly prone to needing a specific individual to represent and embody an idea or feeling, and to serve as a focal point of interest. Perhaps the most extreme example of this is the concept of the guru that was popularized by your age group.
The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group
You are part of a 14 year group of people who have a very idealistic sense of brotherhood and universal cooperation, which, among other things, fostered the peace and freedom movement. Your age group is also interested in the spiritual philosophy and ideals of other cultures, and is not at all dogmatic in its approach to religion. You incorporate the approaches of other religions. Your age group tends to have an eclectic approach to religion, utilizing elements from many religious perspectives (e.g. Eastern and Western), and finds it difficult to follow traditionally defined religious practices.
A gullibility and an unwillingness to be decisive and judgmental inclines your age group to be easily deceived, and consequently many of the well-intended ideals and goals are frustrated by a lack of clear purpose and direction.
You were also born during a period that lasted approximately 5 years and is characterized by an unusually high degree of imagination and sensitivity. You are part of a group of people who are very inspired but also unstable. The bizarre and unusual are standard fare among your age group. Your generation also inspires intense political movements that are often fanatical or unreasonable in their goals.
The entire generation to which you belong has tremendous opportunities for spiritual rebirth and awakening. This will not be forced upon you or precipitated by unavoidable events, rather it comes from an inner yearning and a natural propensity to seek the depths.
What is New and Different in Your Age Group
You are part of a 7 year group of people who have a strong need to feel unrestrained by family ties and personal heritage. Your age group tends to find personal relationships very restrictive, and also tends to feel alienated and distant from family ties and concerns. Forming long-term personal relationships is difficult for your age group, and divorce rates are high in your group. However, you are an emotional and sensitive group also, and this instability is painful at times. Finding personal freedom and closeness with others at the same time is a big challenge for you.
