You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple
language, uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to
contradict another statement, then you exhibit these opposite qualities at
different times in your life. For example, a statement that you are highly
sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly
contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both sociability
and solitude at different times.
The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The
astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of
astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will
not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.
If you find this interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative,
you might want to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to
learn more about the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics
Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by
the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of
these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth
(practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual
qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).
Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are
"unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain
element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that
aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that
dimension of life.
Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as
a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities
described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following
chapters.
You have two strong impulses
which are somewhat at odds with one another but when blended can be highly
creative and productive. On the one hand, there is the dreamer, the gambler, the
idealist, the optimist who is full of hopeful confidence, spark, and creative
energy. This is the side of you that believes in magic and extraordinary
possibilities. Equally strong, however, is the conservative, practical, adult
side which seeks security and stability, and which needs to be productive in a
concrete way.
Having both of these urges can lead to some internal predicaments, such as:
Should I take the safe, well traveled path which offers me security or one which
is unpredictable but which offers more freedom and adventure? Is there a way for
me to live my dreams rather than simply wish and hope and fantasize about them?
Can I bring my dreams to fruition without compromising too much for the sake of
the market place? Can I be an idealist who is effective in the everyday mundane
world? How can I express myself freely as an individual, while also being
responsible and taking care of practical obligations and necessities? Should I
be generous, or careful and conservative? Should I play (and be more of a child)
or work?
If you give up one side of the equation (for instance, opting for security at
the expense of your creativity or your ideals, or choosing to spend most of your
time playing and enjoying your own creative pursuits without making any tangible
contribution to the world), you will feel unbalanced and unhappy.
Your challenge is to learn to somehow have the best of both worlds - to have an
inspiration or ideal to aim for and to do something tangible with it. Or, put
another way, to bring play and creativity and passion into your work. Your
initiative, confidence and faith combined with your practicality would make you
quite successful in business especially one of your own.

Fire and Earth are Strong (F,E,A,W Scores = 17,24,4,4)
Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others
The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others
see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3
you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes
the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read
this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant
differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through
and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than
superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in
life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.
Cautious, prudent, and rather self-contained, you are a person who approaches
life realistically and who is not inclined to take foolish chances or get
carried away by the overly optimistic or idealistic schemes of starry-eyed
dreamers. In fact, you frequently have a jaundiced view of such things. You are
rather worldly-wise at a fairly young age, even something of a cynic. Often the
world doesn't seem like a safe, friendly place to you, and you tend to approach
life in a guarded, conservative manner. You are generally calculating and
careful, and are rarely spontaneous, fluid, open, and childlike.
You are pragmatic, shrewd, and an excellent strategist, carefully planning your
moves for maximum effectiveness and advantage. You are willing to work long and
persistently for what you want and you often do things the hard way. You do not
expect others to take care of you and sometimes refuse or simply don't seek any
outside help. You are often very ambitious, but quietly so. There is nothing
flamboyant or flashy about your approach. You are very responsible,
conscientious, and very concerned with your duties to others and how you appear
in society, your "rank" so to speak.
To others you seem mature, serious, quiet, reflective, and emotionally detached.
You dislike sloppy sentimentality and won't openly display your feelings,
especially the softer ones. You like to always appear poised and in control and
hate to show any weakness, vulnerability, or chinks in the armor.
You respect tradition and the time-honored way of doing things, and you feel
there is much to be gained from studying history and also by learning from
older, more experienced people. A wise mentor or father is often your guide in
life, and you in turn develop a great deal of hard-earned wisdom which you like
to impart to younger people.
You have a stern, authoritarian, no-nonsense aspect to your personality. You
expect much from yourself and may not give yourself enough room to experiment
and make mistakes.
You also tend to be rather close-fisted, to save and conserve your money and
resources rather than spending, enjoying, or splurging with them. You spend
money on things of quality and of lasting value, things which are good
investments, but not frivolous, temporary pleasures. There is a bit of the
ascetic in you. You have great self-discipline and self-control and can "do
without" very well. Your tastes are generally understated and simple.
Though you may have other, more colorful and imaginative sides, the face you
show the world is modest and rather conservative.
Despite the fact that your core self is quite a bit different from the face the
world generally sees, you have a strong desire to be seen and recognized, to be
acknowledged, and to have a significant influence on people in your environment.
You may do remarkable things in order to be noticed. However, you often don't
get the full recognition you wish for.
Your emotional responses, feelings, and prejudices come across to others quite
clearly and you could be seen as a rather moody, inconsistent creature. On the
other hand, you aren't impersonal or removed, so people are drawn to confide in
you. At times you may wish you weren't so easy to read.
There is an air of universal sympathy, gentleness, and nonjudgmental acceptance
about you which draws people in need to you. Because you have a good deal of
intuitive insight or psychic perceptiveness, you're able to say or do just the
right thing for them. You need to beware of fostering dependency in those
people, however.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
Although you often appear self-controlled, disciplined, and even something of an
ascetic (as described in the previous chapter), there is also a pleasure-loving
sensualist in you that thoroughly enjoys "the good life". You may feel pulled,
at times, between saving your hard-earned money and conserving your resources
versus indulging yourself and appeasing your appetites for pleasure and beauty.
You are a steadfast and patient soul, capable of tremendous devotion,
dedication, endurance, and constancy. The ability to follow through and stick
with things is one of your greatest assets. Once your course is set, you pursue
it tenaciously until it is completed, stubbornly resisting any attempts to sway
you from your purpose.
You have a very practical nature and want to see concrete, tangible results for
your efforts, and you are not one for spinning wild dreams that are unlikely to
come into fruition. Most of your "wild dreams" have to do with material
achievements, well-being, and security, for you have a great love of the
physical world and you want to experience and enjoy it to the full. Though you
will work long and persistently, you also have a strong sensual and
comfort-loving side, and you want to enjoy what you have worked for. In fact,
you can be enormously lazy at times and have a tendency to overindulge in good
food and other earthly pleasures. You also love the beauty of the natural world
and probably prefer a serene country setting rather than an urban life style.
At heart your needs are simple and you are easy to please. You have a strong
desire for security, stability, and peace, and will rarely make changes unless
you are forced to do so. You are not very demanding emotionally, though you do
crave lots of physical closeness and affection. Because of your faithfulness,
emotional steadiness, and gentle strength, others often depend upon you for
support. Though you hate upheaval and sudden changes, you usually maintain your
poise and equanimity. You also have an innate sense of harmonizing with nature,
allowing things to grow and unfold in their own time, and the patience to
nurture something into being - be it a garden, a child, or some creative
project. You make an excellent mother or father, especially if you follow your
instincts more often than "the experts".
You have three major faults: one is your bullheaded obstinacy. The second is
your unwillingness to deviate from your safe, predictable routine. And the third
is your tendency to always insist upon realism and undervalue the imaginative,
speculative, and fanciful - in other words, you lack the ability to play with
ideas and possibilities, to open your mind to the new.
The urge to learn and to communicate is essential to you, and you express
yourself very well through writing, teaching or sharing ideas and information.
You are persuasive and fluent with language.
Restless and inquisitive, you enjoy being mobile and taking short trips and
excursions in order to see for yourself what is going on in the world around
you.
You tend to be very impressionable and psychically open, and as a youngster, you
could have been dominated by more forceful personalities. Afraid of
confrontation, you may have become passive, identified yourself as a helpless
victim, or tried to gain your desires in underhanded ways.
Your hypersensitivity to your environment is apt to be a challenge for you in
other ways as well. Pollutants, ugliness, or dissonance in any form is apt to
affect you more than most people.
You are intensely willful, zealous, and fanatical, though often you hide the
intensity of your feelings and your personal motives and desires. You have an
infatuation with power and an almost compulsive desire for personal recognition,
the desire to be Somebody. You tend to worship Heroes who have powerful personal
magnetism and charisma, and often seek to emulate them. You also have both a
fear of, and an intense fascination with, death and the hidden, secret, dark
side of life.
You have a powerful personality and a tendency to run roughshod over others. You
tend to inflict your will on them whether or not they are receptive. You are
likely to gain respect from others through the demonstration of physical
strength and bravery.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities
Your mind operates in a very deliberate and methodical manner and you dislike
being rushed or forced to give an opinion before you have thoroughly ruminated
and digested an idea. You are also difficult to influence once your mind is made
up.
Though slower to grasp new concepts or learn new skills, you are patient and
persevering and, in fact, often become quite adept at whatever you put your mind
and hand to, for you are willing to devote much time and attention to it. You
succeed not so much because of your mental brilliance, but because you have the
ability to concentrate and follow a project through to its completion. You have
an aptitude for singing or drawing.
Inquisitive and communicative, your mind seems to be "on" all of the time and
you are forever gathering information and sharing ideas. Your attention span may
be rather brief; you have many and diverse interests, and are easily distracted.
You learn quickly, are eager to pass on what you are learning and thinking
about, and may talk excessively.
You have a sharp tongue and ready wit, and you enjoy intellectual competition,
problem solving, and demanding intellectual work. In a debate, you know how to
drive your point home. You also possess quick reflexes and dexterity and could
be an excellent tennis or racquetball player. Any sport which involves a dynamic
exchange between the players is a suitable arena for you.
You have an abundance of ideas, interests, and plans for the future, and may
find it difficult to focus on any particular area. You are not a specialist for
you seek to get the broad overview, to see the whole picture rather than closely
examining any of its component parts. Philosophy, religion, or other areas of
theoretical speculation interest you.
You also possess foresight, numerous enterprising ideas, and a gambling
instinct, all of which contribute to your success in the world of business.
However, your optimism and grand vision can get you in trouble too; you
sometimes promise more than you can deliver, gloss over important details that
come back to haunt you later, and overestimate the potential of an idea or
product.
Traveling is a great love of yours, especially if there is a mind-expanding or
educational aspect involved, and you may travel extensively in your work.
Consulting or education would be good fields for you.
You are mentally active and always seeking new and different avenues of
self-expression. Restless, touchy and impulsive, you probably will have to learn
compromise in your dealings with others. You tend to have an unusual domestic
life.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
Emotional outbursts are frequent with you due to your fiery temper and emotional
impulsiveness. You express yourself very directly and honestly and no one has to
guess what your true feelings are. However, you dislike showing any personal
weaknesses or needs for support, comfort, and nurturing. You are often impatient
with yourself and with others. You abhor emotional dependency and dislike
"complainers".
You inspire others to take positive action in their lives by your own enthusiasm
and eagerness to meet life's challenges, and are attracted to people who are
adventurous, courageous, and independent. You are rather bossy, but you do not
like to be with people that you can boss around too much. You enjoy a good fight
sometimes. Relationships built upon mutual respect and a good deal of emotional
freedom are ideal for you.
You become very cross if you do not have enough vigorous physical activity. You
will feel your best if you "do battle" on the tennis or racquetball court (or
engage in some other competitive sport) frequently.
You often make decisions solely for emotional or personal reasons, because
something "feels right" or because you've always done it a certain way and you
are uncomfortable changing it. Even when you think you're being rational, your
prejudices, intuitions, and feelings influence your thoughts a great deal. You
are comfortable talking about feelings and personal subjects, and sharing
confidences, which enables others to express their own inner feelings with you
as well. You have good psychological insight into others.
You are dedicated to the people you care about and conscientious about meeting
your responsibilities, especially to family. Family solidarity and cohesiveness
are very important to you and so, therefore, are the traditions, rituals, and
memories that keep the bonds strong.
You're apt to do more than your fair share in the family, to go the extra mile,
but this is satisfying rather than burdensome to you for the most part.
You have a very attractive personality and love to socialize. Because of this
you are very popular, especially with the opposite sex. You also have a sense of
beauty and may be interested in some kind of artistic work or hobby.
You seem to float above reality and have a very intense imagination. You like to
daydream and are apt to have many wishes and illusions that rarely have a chance
to materialize. You are guided by your feelings and seem to live in a world of
your own.
Your love feelings and desires are easily aroused but it may be difficult to
sustain your romantic interest in a relationship after the initial, exciting
"chase and conquest". You enjoy a partner who is dynamic and alive, someone with
a strong independent streak, and you do not like things to become too peaceful
or predictable in the love arena. You want to see sparks fly once in awhile,
even if that means instigating a fight.
For you, caring and affection must be expressed tangibly, and you love giving
and receiving gifts. You value luxury, comfort, and elegance very highly and
appreciate beautiful things. You can be self-indulgent and extravagant. Being
overly possessive of people you love and of your belongings is something you
need to beware of.
You are intensely amorous and attractive to the opposite sex, and are not
inclined to friendly platonic relationships. There is much tension in your love
life - often because you put your desires ahead of your partner's, and are
impatient about having your love needs satisfied. The whole arena of love,
romance, and sex is endlessly fascinating for you and you are not happy without
a love partner. You can "burn yourself out" by pouring so much of your energy
into romance.
You appreciate beautiful surroundings and congenial company, and though you
enjoy helping people, you will rarely put yourself out too much in order to do
so. You are good-humored and generous at heart but inclined to be lazy.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
You avoid direct confrontation as much as possible and are uncomfortable with
aggressiveness, competition, and personal power. Your ego drive is not very
strong and you are not especially ambitious or eager to push your way to the
top. You may feel inadequate in situations that call for strong, forceful
action. The only instance in which you will really fight is when you feel your
loved ones, or something dear to you, is being harmed, for then you are a fierce
defender. You have a very strong protective side. You act on impulse and
instinct and may lash out at anyone you perceive as threatening to your home or
family. However, you will rarely initiate a confrontation. Your goals also tend
to be very personal and centered around family closeness and inner satisfaction
rather than worldly achievement.
You are sensitive to stress and do not handle a high-pressured, competitive
atmosphere very well. You are very touchy, irritable, and difficult to live with
when there are many demands or tensions at work. Your energy level is inconstant
and is very much dependent upon the emotional harmony (or lack of it) in your
home. A supportive partner is of great benefit to you in helping you achieve
your goals and desires.
You expect to work hard for anything you accomplish and you have no patience for
people who don't pull their own weight. Work is a passion for you at times, and
you push yourself too hard. You can be too demanding of the people you work with
also.
If your energy is not invested in a job or career, you can become a fanatic
about your health, and you may exercise or "work out" vigorously and perhaps
excessively.
You are hyper-sensitive and your energy could be somewhat low. You seem to shy
away from any physical effort and have a tendency to dream of big
accomplishments that never materialize. You prefer to live in a world of
illusion rather than face reality.
Freedom is very important to you and you will work hard to get it. Quick to act,
you want to realize your goals immediately. You have a strong desire to make
your fortune in life and tend to take chances with speculative ventures or
gambling.
You are likely to feel depressed frequently and have a strong desire to overcome
it, but may not be able to count on much support from others. You tend to
separate yourself from others and feel like being expelled from society.
Your ambition and/or role in life involves communication, message-carrying,
writing or speaking, languages, or being an intermediary. Sometimes you're apt
to feel that you have to work harder than others to get the word out or receive
public recognition. "Work smarter, not harder" should be your motto.
You have grand aspirations and may be inordinately ambitious at times. That is,
you're apt to be discontent with small successes and to feel like a failure
unless you achieve extraordinary things. Avoid get-rich-quick schemes which
promise tremendous returns for little energy expenditure. Even if they do seem
to succeed, your ideals and values could be compromised.
You are a bit restless and always seem to be in motion. You probably had the
desire to go your own way early in life, wanting to learn from your own mistakes
and experiences. Your plans for the future are far-reaching and you may choose
an unusual career.
You are very reserved and may try to avoid contact with others as much as
possible. You tend to suppress or hide your feelings and could see yourself as
unappreciated or worthless. You are likely to go your own way and appreciate
solitude.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
You cannot tolerate smallness or pettiness in any form, and you have a tendency
to exaggerate. Also, you have a wonderful sense of drama! You must live boldly
and heroically. Otherwise you feel you are simply existing and wasting your
talents.
The desire for personal recognition - or even Fame - and a need to do something
you feel really proud of, motivate you strongly. You have an unusual capacity
for fun and playfulness also.
You are a very sociable person, and you need to reach out and communicate with
many different people. You are interested in what others can teach you and are
drawn to those with more knowledge or breadth of experience than yourself. You
expect a high level of integrity and sincerity from others and you do not
tolerate pettiness or hypocrisy in your close friends or marriage partner.
You also need freedom and want a partner who will support your need to keep
learning and growing, who will not limit you or set too many boundaries. Your
marriage is likely to be very satisfying and rich.
You have the ability to be happy and are aware of your good fortune. Optimistic
in outlook and thinking a lot, you find it easy to acquire self-knowledge. You
love to learn new things and are always ready to increase your capacity for
learning.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
You doubt your own intelligence and mental capacities, and you may work very
hard at studies in order to compensate for this. You are often overly serious
and disinterested in light or superficial conversation. Spontaneous
communication, social give-and-take, and making small talk are likely to be
difficult for you.
It may be difficult for you to play spontaneously or just let your hair down,
for you tend to inhibit that side of yourself by being too self-conscious and
concerned with the impression you are making.
You may work very hard at some sport or creative medium in order to excel, for
you want very, very much to be noticed, acknowledged, and recognized as special
in some way. Though you may indeed be outstanding, you also need to learn to
relax and enjoy yourself more.
Basically shy, you may become a bit inhibited when talking with other people.
You tend to withdraw from others and like to live a humble, quiet live in
seclusion. You may get involved with a group of a secretive nature, although not
one to join groups in general.
You try to build your life on solid ground, but may find it difficult to move
forward, because you always tend to look back. This could result in feelings of
inferiority and periodic moods of depression.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually
revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are
apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you
need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is
also described.
Your path lies in developing yourself as an individual, discovering your own
strengths and joys, giving expression to your uniqueness, and letting yourself
shine and stand out from the crowd. This involve becoming a leader, even though
your instinct is actually to be "one of the Indians" rather than the "chief".
When under stress you are apt to seek safety in numbers, to go along with the
group. Also, you may believe that striving to do your personal best and to excel
is wrong or selfish, but you should let go of this notion. Finding your own
center and doing what gives you delight and energy is the most worthwhile
contribution you can offer the world at large.
The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in your marriage
and other intimate, one-to-one relationships. You may see the qualities you need
to develop more fully (described above) in your partner. It is important for you
to recognize, appreciate, and listen to the people in your life who express such
attributes, as well as developing them yourself. Put energy and attention into
learning about others, and about yourself through others.
The following are specific activities that will support you in your growth.
These may or may not feel natural to you, and often there is some feeling of
resistance or initial awkwardness about doing these things, but they are
important on your path to wholeness.
Your path to wholeness involves confronting the dark and hidden aspects of
yourself - bringing them to light and transforming yourself in the process.
Healing abilities develop as a result of your willingness to experience and
transform deep emotions such as grief, anger, and pain. Also, seeing the
darkness and pain in the world and helping to bring light to it without becoming
overwhelmed is a significant issue for you.
You have a very affectionate attitude toward others and the capacity to love a
lot of people. There probably is a very deep bond between you and your friends,
and when you fall in love, you are likely to love just as deeply.

Chapter 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive
Your childhood or your relationship with your parents was unsettling or unstable
in some way, so that you may never have felt that you had firm ground beneath
your feet. One of your parents may have been unusual, eccentric, or an
inconstant influence in your life. Abrupt changes in location or in family
relationships may have made you feel insecure, but positively you were given
more freedom and less pressure to conform to conventions, which enables you to
be more of an individual and less tethered to restrictive ideas of how one
"should" behave, feel, or live.
You have a very active imagination and powerful fantasies. You may develop an
interest in the supernatural, psychic phenomena, or occult subjects. You may
have strange fantasies and/or nebulous fears of "ghosts", "the astral plane", or
death. It's better for you not to dabble in such areas unless you are thoroughly
grounded in the practical world as well.
Emotional intensity, compulsive attraction, and a sense of fate or destiny
characterize your one-to-one relationships. It's as if you simply cannot have
light, superficial relationships; they are inevitably profound, intense
experiences which reveal your depths to you. You may be drawn to powerful,
charismatic, willful people that challenge, thwart, and ultimately evoke your
own power and strengths. Your marriage is likely to be the arena for your
greatest growth.
You tend to act impulsively and hastily and could make rash decisions that may
have unexpected consequences. You do your work in a state of excitement and are
prone to overtax your strength. It is important that you learn to recognize your
limitations.
You tend to dream of good fortune and success without seeing the world around
you too clearly. You have a strong desire to gain success, but are reluctant to
expend any effort toward achieving it, resulting in frequent disappointments.
You respond quickly to people around you, but may find yourself emotionally
drained frequently by contacts with restless people in your environment. Some of
your relationships also could turn out to be disappointing because of deceptive
indications.
Your feelings and emotions are directly tied to your ego; if you achieve status,
honor and prestige, you function well, but if your ambitions are thwarted, you
may feel depressed and inhibited. Your mother probably had a strong influence on
your life's work.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group
In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation.
Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but
you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.
The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In
this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age
group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power,
and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second
topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the
dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and
last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes
areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and
also where it may be unstable and unreliable.
The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere
from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological
factors described in each of the three sections below.
The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
You are part of a 20 year period that is often referred to as the "ME"
generation, a generation that has a very proud and self-reliant attitude. You
are a generation that is very concerned with self-development and personal
integrity. Women's rights and minority rights are issues that your generation
has fostered and they reflect your concern with individual respect, integrity,
and honor. Your age group has a deeply felt sense that each person has an equal
right and opportunity to fully develop his or her inner potential.
However, your group also finds it difficult to be part of a team and a strong
egotism makes group efforts difficult; you tend to see the individual as more
important than the group. You also defy authority and often feel that no one has
the right to tell you what to do. The strong movement to refuse drafting into
the military is one example of your age group's strong sense of individual
rights and freedom.
Your age group has popularized the idea of self-development, and has contributed
a great deal to the development of individual potential as well as human rights.
However, there is also a tendency to be rather self-centered; others may wonder
how you can spend so much time developing yourselves and have so little time to
contribute to your families!
The interest in personal development also sometimes manifests as a fascination
with particular individuals and a great deal of hero worship. Every generation,
of course, has lots of idols, but your generation is particularly prone to
needing a specific individual to represent and embody an idea or feeling, and to
serve as a focal point of interest. Perhaps the most extreme example of this is
the concept of the guru that was popularized by your age group.
You belong to a group of people who will be the positive reformers and
innovators in society. Peaceful methods and new techniques which do not create
too much disruption, but which bring about fundamental and profound changes in
society, will be your contribution.
The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group
You are part of a 14 year group of people who have a very idealistic sense of
brotherhood and universal cooperation, which, among other things, fostered the
peace and freedom movement. Your age group is also interested in the spiritual
philosophy and ideals of other cultures, and is not at all dogmatic in its
approach to religion. You incorporate the approaches of other religions. Your
age group tends to have an eclectic approach to religion, utilizing elements
from many religious perspectives (e.g. Eastern and Western), and finds it
difficult to follow traditionally defined religious practices.
A gullibility and an unwillingness to be decisive and judgmental inclines your
age group to be easily deceived, and consequently many of the well-intended
ideals and goals are frustrated by a lack of clear purpose and direction.
You were also born during a period that lasted approximately 5 years and is
characterized by an unusually high degree of imagination, intuition, and
sensitivity. You are part of a group of people who are very inspired. Your age
group is rather zealous and enthusiastically rallies behind new visions and
ideals for society. You succeed in bringing a breath of fresh air into the arts
and religions, and you inspire new ideals and goals for nations as well. You are
part of a creative group that can do much to inspire a fresh vision and renewed
hope for others.
What is New and Different in Your Age Group
You are part of a 7 year group of people who are progressive and creative
thinkers. Academic achievement is high and academic standards are higher with
your age group than with others. You are a curious and inquisitive bunch, and
many discoveries and clever insights are brought forth from your age group. The
love of learning never dies with your age group, and your curiosity and
inquisitiveness does not wane in later life, as is common with others.
