You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple
language, uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to
contradict another statement, then you exhibit these opposite qualities at
different times in your life. For example, a statement that you are highly
sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly
contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both sociability
and solitude at different times.
The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The
astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of
astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will
not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.
If you find this interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative,
you might want to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to
learn more about the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics
Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by
the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of
these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth
(practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual
qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).
Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are
"unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain
element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that
aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that
dimension of life.
Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as
a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities
described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following
chapters.
You possess a measure of all the
elements and are thus less likely than others to overemphasize or completely
neglect one dimension of experience for another. You are capable of both
thinking and feeling, envisioning possibilities and dealing effectively with the
here-and-now and so on. This does not mean that you do not have definite
preferences and attitudes (these will be covered in the following chapters), nor
even that you do not overdo or go overboard in your own particular way. But you
are a more varied and complex person, less one-sided than many other people are,
and you are able to draw on all of the elemental qualities when appropriate. In
addition, you are able to relate to most people, recognizing a bit of yourself
in their ways and values.

Fire-Earth-Air-Water Elements are Balanced (F,E,A,W Scores = 8,12,12,17)
Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others
The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others
see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3
you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes
the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read
this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant
differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through
and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than
superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in
life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.
You are a natural diplomat, reasonable, tolerant, fair, always willing to listen
to varying viewpoints, and ready to see the other side of an issue. Even if you
strongly disagree with someone, you will try to find points of similarity and
agreement rather than emphasizing the differences. You often avoid taking an
extreme or one-sided stance on anything. You have a strong desire for harmonious
and pleasant relationships, and express a spirit of cooperation, compromise,
friendship, and fairness. You very much want to be liked and because of your
need for approval and acceptance, you are easily influenced by others' opinions,
especially when young. You so much want to please that often you will suppress
your own intense or unpleasant feelings in order not to offend others. Sometimes
your politeness is interpreted as being phony or wishy-washy.
Your need to create harmony extends to your physical environment and personal
appearance as well. You appreciate beauty and have a natural sense of balance,
symmetry, and proportion. You do everything in good taste, with a sense of style
and art. From your home furnishings to your choice of clothing, everything must
be aesthetically appealing, not simply functional or utilitarian.
You also feel that relationships are an art, one that especially interests you
and one that you are usually quite skilled at, for you possess tact and acute
awareness of other people. Marriage is very significant to you and finding the
right person to share your life with is extremely important. Being part of a
close couple seems natural to you - you are not an independent loner. Having a
partner increases your self-confidence. You do have a tendency, however, to
become overly dependent on your partner and perhaps not to develop a clearly
defined identity outside of the relationship. Finding the balance between being
yourself and blending and uniting with another is a challenge for you.
Others see you as an agreeable, smooth, harmonious, and "nice" person. Though
there may be much more to you, this is the sort of face you show to the world.
You possess personal charm and an understated, noncombative manner. Your motto
could be "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" for you usually
take a friendly, cooperative approach rather than a strong, forceful,
I'm-going-to-conquer-the-world attitude.
At times your feisty spirit, aggressiveness, and a too-forceful approach get you
into trouble. You tend to take offense when none was intended. you may be viewed
as a troublemaker, an upstart, or an egotist with little concern for others.
Moderate your temper to avoid constant irritation with those in your
environment.
You appear responsible, conscientious, and solid --qualities which encourage
others to take you seriously. You are unlikely to present yourself as more than
you are, and this humility is often endearing, or at least appealing, to others.
Even as a youth, you seemed mature for your age.
The image you project to the world, and the person you really are inside, are
considerably different. So much so that at times you may feel that people don't
see or know the real you. They respond to the face they see, and the initial
impression you make may actually be misleading. Within yourself, also, there is
much complexity and tension, and you often feel that you need to change yourself
in significant ways or that you continually hold back essential aspects of
yourself.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
Although you seem accommodating, obliging, amiable, and willing to compromise
(as described in the previous chapter), you can also be enormously stubborn and
immovable, as discussed below. You have such a pleasant demeanor that you are
able to use a combination of charm and bullying to work things out the way you
want them to. You are an excellent negotiator.
You are a steadfast and patient soul, capable of tremendous devotion,
dedication, endurance, and constancy. The ability to follow through and stick
with things is one of your greatest assets. Once your course is set, you pursue
it tenaciously until it is completed, stubbornly resisting any attempts to sway
you from your purpose.
You have a very practical nature and want to see concrete, tangible results for
your efforts, and you are not one for spinning wild dreams that are unlikely to
come into fruition. Most of your "wild dreams" have to do with material
achievements, well-being, and security, for you have a great love of the
physical world and you want to experience and enjoy it to the full. Though you
will work long and persistently, you also have a strong sensual and
comfort-loving side, and you want to enjoy what you have worked for. In fact,
you can be enormously lazy at times and have a tendency to overindulge in good
food and other earthly pleasures. You also love the beauty of the natural world
and probably prefer a serene country setting rather than an urban life style.
At heart your needs are simple and you are easy to please. You have a strong
desire for security, stability, and peace, and will rarely make changes unless
you are forced to do so. You are not very demanding emotionally, though you do
crave lots of physical closeness and affection. Because of your faithfulness,
emotional steadiness, and gentle strength, others often depend upon you for
support. Though you hate upheaval and sudden changes, you usually maintain your
poise and equanimity. You also have an innate sense of harmonizing with nature,
allowing things to grow and unfold in their own time, and the patience to
nurture something into being - be it a garden, a child, or some creative
project. You make an excellent mother or father, especially if you follow your
instincts more often than "the experts".
You have three major faults: one is your bullheaded obstinacy. The second is
your unwillingness to deviate from your safe, predictable routine. And the third
is your tendency to always insist upon realism and undervalue the imaginative,
speculative, and fanciful - in other words, you lack the ability to play with
ideas and possibilities, to open your mind to the new.
You crave intense experiences and are attracted to aspects of life that are
strange, unfathomable, or taboo. You may hide your interests or inclinations,
except from those who know you very intimately. You are rarely content with
yourself and your life, and you have an inner urge to be continually going
farther or deeper than you ever have before. You also have a strong interest in
social power and the role that money and economics play in people's lives.
You can be an inspiring leader of a team or group effort. Your dynamism and
energy evokes the same in others, and you see healthy competition between people
as a plus. Generally, you enjoy fine health as well.
While you do have a lot of drive, you frequently hold yourself back. Learning to
endure frustration and to patiently overcome the obstacles in your life (or your
own internal caution and resistance!) is one of your tasks.
You have to overcome considerable hardship in order to fulfill your personal
destiny. However, you do have the strength and stamina necessary to do so.
Support and helpful guidance from your father or other significant men in your
life may well be lacking. In fact, their disapproval of you and their harsh
criticism are apt to be two of your greatest handicaps, and at times you may
feel quite discouraged and alone. But true self-reliance and a solid sense of
your own powers may well be the silver lining to that cloud in your life. You
need to learn to follow your own creative impulses and heart's desires,
regardless of what your critics or the authorities say.
You are somewhat excitable and quickly aroused. You could be a little
self-centered, but at the same time also magnetic. You like to flirt and tend to
fall in love at first sight, but then transfer your affections to someone else
for no apparent reason.
You are well aware of your limitations and have a strong desire to go your own
way in life. There is a note of gravity to your personality and you appear
somewhat somber. It is not easy for you to relax and enjoy and you prefer to
work in seclusion.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities
Outspoken and direct, you are always eager to express your ideas and opinions
and don't mind opposing the consensus and stirring up a little controversy. You
have fresh, original ideas and much enthusiasm for anything new and untried, but
once the novelty has worn off, you are interested in another new idea or
project. You never seem to have enough time to do all you want to. You are very
honest, speak decisively and convincingly about things you believe in, and are
unable to pretend to agree with someone if you honestly don't. You may be
somewhat deficient in tact.
You are often involved in verbal exchanges, interviewing, discussing, debating,
counseling, negotiating, getting and giving feedback, and sharing information.
You are drawn to intelligent and verbal people, with whom you can communicate
and from whom you can learn. You love to have an audience to hear your ideas,
and you also appreciate eloquent presentations by others.
You appreciate aesthetics and have a fine sense of form, design, and beauty. You
could develop great technical skill as an artist, designer, craftsman, or
creative writer. You could also sell objects of beauty - artistic products,
cosmetics, jewelry, etc.
You have the ability to please and harmonize well with others and a talent for
assuaging strain in the relationship of two other people. Your sense of humor,
tact, and personal charm are a great benefit to you in any work with people on a
one-to-one level.
Never satisfied with the face value of anything, you are always probing beneath
the surface for deeper reasons and hidden motives - though you rarely reveal
your own. You have a very suspicious, even paranoid, side. You mind is
penetrating and deep and you have an aptitude for research, investigative
reporting, or private investigation. You are keenly interested in the deeper
aspects of the human psyche, with a sort of "x-ray vision" regarding the inner
motivations and intentions of others. You are drawn to anything secret, hidden,
or mysterious, and may pursue esoteric or occult studies. You are also a
forceful and convincing speaker or writer, with the ability to influence
people's thinking by the sheer power of your conviction.
You generally are in a positive frame of mind and have the ability to express
yourself well. You could be successful in speaking, lecturing, writing or
acting. You also might be interested in issues of health, diet etc. and may
consider a profession in the medical field.
Your sense of reality seems a bit distorted and you tend to always think the
worst. Your attitude toward the world is rather pessimistic and you place too
much importance on matters that really are not important and ignore the ones
that are.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
Tenderhearted and sympathetic to an unusual degree, you have an understanding of
other people's feelings and needs which borders on being telepathic. You are
extremely compassionate and cannot bear to see any fellow creature - be it human
or animal -suffer. Because of your kindness and nonjudgmental attitude, people
in pain or confusion are drawn to you for help, which you readily give.
Sometimes your softheartedness is taken advantage of.
You are a gentle, poetic soul and have a great love and affinity for music.
Because many of your feelings are nebulous and vague and you cannot easily
verbalize how you experience life, music seems a natural language for you. You
are also tremendously romantic and are often "in love with love".
You have a sympathetic nature and instinctively reach out to people in need of
help. You also have a deeply ingrained tendency to want to improve or "fix"
other people's lives, which can be annoying to the person who has no desire to
be changed or "helped" in this way. For you, affection and caring must be
expressed in tangible acts or service of some kind.
You have conflicting emotional desires and needs which complicate your personal
life. You may feel that you cannot depend on your love partner to take care of
you or perhaps you cannot decide what you really want in a love relationship: a
parent or a lover. If your needs for emotional sustenance and love are not
satisfied, overeating (especially sweets) can be a problem for you.
You enjoy emotional intensity and are attracted to the mysterious, the unknown,
and to dangerous or challenging experiences which draw on all of your inner
resources. You are able to handle an emotional crisis very well, and you are
interested in the deep roots of emotional problems and how to cure them. You
insist on bringing feelings between people out into the open, for you want real
closeness and intimacy with others, without barriers or secrets.
Your emotional life tends to be a bit strange and you are likely to fantasize a
lot and to weave a web of illusions. Easily swayed by the needs of others, you
must learn not to take on others problems and also guard against others
deceiving you.
In love, you are more interested in a person's sense of humor and intelligence
than in their physique. You like a partner who is mentally alive and who keeps
you guessing a little bit, and you become restless and bored with someone who
never asks questions, never changes or surprises you. Talking, sharing ideas,
going places together, and learning new things together is very important to
your happiness. You need lots of social stimulation, are something of a flirt,
and like to have many friends of both sexes. A possessive, jealous partner is
very stifling for you.
You are attracted to foreigners, exotic places, traveling, and to people who can
expand your horizons, teach you something, or show you places and worlds you
have never experienced before. Sharing a philosophy or ideal with your love
partner is important to you.
Also, you feel a love and kinship for people everywhere, not only with your own
family, nationality, or group. Finding similarities and making links between
people from differing backgrounds or with different perspectives is a gift of
yours.
You are extremely sensitive to your surroundings and could feel highly elated
one minute and quite down the next. You tend to avoid the truth about yourself
and your relationships and could have some strange or peculiar experiences in
love.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
You avoid direct confrontation as much as possible and are uncomfortable with
aggressiveness, competition, and personal power. Your ego drive is not very
strong and you are not especially ambitious or eager to push your way to the
top. You may feel inadequate in situations that call for strong, forceful
action. The only instance in which you will really fight is when you feel your
loved ones, or something dear to you, is being harmed, for then you are a fierce
defender. You have a very strong protective side. You act on impulse and
instinct and may lash out at anyone you perceive as threatening to your home or
family. However, you will rarely initiate a confrontation. Your goals also tend
to be very personal and centered around family closeness and inner satisfaction
rather than worldly achievement.
You are sensitive to stress and do not handle a high-pressured, competitive
atmosphere very well. You are very touchy, irritable, and difficult to live with
when there are many demands or tensions at work. Your energy level is inconstant
and is very much dependent upon the emotional harmony (or lack of it) in your
home. A supportive partner is of great benefit to you in helping you achieve
your goals and desires.
You have passionate convictions and will fight for them when challenged. You are
willing to dedicate a great deal of your energy and force to an important cause,
and you'll act decisively on your beliefs, rather than simply espousing them.
Sometimes you get so involved and identified with your ideas that you cannot
really be receptive to anyone who opposes you philosophically.
You frequently meet a tremendous amount of resistance whenever you want to
assert yourself in a decisive way, or do something just for yourself. This
resistance comes from within (in the form of self-doubt, fear, or a heavy sense
of responsibility to others), as well as from practical and circumstantial
limitations. Especially when initiating a project or acting independently, you
may tell yourself that you aren't really prepared, or that you aren't good
enough (yet), and you put a lot of pressure on yourself. Despite the obstacles,
setbacks, or lack of support you encounter, you can accomplish a lot in a
patient, steady fashion. However, you're apt to aim too low, and not realize how
much you are truly capable of.
Try to recognize that your do not have to justify your existence or prove your
worth by your accomplishments.
Although you are patient and steady when pursuing an objective, when you finally
lose patience you lose it completely! In addition to having great tenacity and
perseverance, you have a daring and rebellious side as well:
Intensely restless, dynamic, and energetic, you are always on the go. When you
want something, you want it NOW, and you act decisively, impulsively, sometimes
hastily and prematurely. Impatient, high-strung, and often nervous and tense,
you find it difficult to slow down, pace yourself, or relax. You are fiercely
individualistic and independent, self-willed and intolerant of restraints and
restrictions imposed by others. You have a reckless disregard for authority and
can be extremely rebellious. Cooperating with others is not your strong point!
You are often brutally frank and abrupt with people, and can be quite impersonal
when you are pursuing a desired goal. You may have an explosive temper when your
will is blocked. You have a superabundance of energy and need much personal
freedom to do things in your own style and at your own pace.
You are inclined to be a tyrant and want other people to submit to your wishes.
In your drive to gain power, you could be ruthless and brutal at times. On the
other hand, you may have to struggle to resist being placed in someone else's
hand and power.
You have a talent and ability for putting fresh ideas and inspiration into
practice. You are ready and willing to utilize new ideas and methods, and you
have a knack for gaining acceptance for a new idea and practically implementing
it.
You have a powerful drive for achievement, and a career in athletics, or some
other very vigorous, challenging, active work appeals to you. You're apt to push
yourself very hard, trying to outdo the competition. When possible, you like to
work independently, blazing trails for others to follow. Impatience,
recklessness, or a too ego-centered approach to success could be your downfall.
(Knowing you, however, you're apt to get right back up!)
In your professional life you are apt to have a great deal of recognition and
success. Early on in your career, important and influential people in your field
are apt to notice you and help you along. At some point, you yourself are apt to
be quite an influential person -- at least in your chosen line of endeavor. You
are headed for a leadership role.
To achieve your ambitions and long-range goals will require much stamina and
self-reliance as well as a clearly defined strategy. Numerous setbacks,
obstructions or delays can also be expected. A father figure, mentor, or
authority in your life may withdraw support at a crucial time. However, this
will not stop you and may ultimately be a blessing in disguise.
Your life direction seems to depend a great deal on other people and your
relations with others often may influence your decision in planning your
objectives. This could be to your advantage at times, but also could cause
occasional setbacks.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
Your ability to empathize and identify with others makes you unwilling to take
advantage of or hurt anyone. You care about the underdog. You may also be
unusually impressionable or have highly developed psychic sensitivity.
You have a positive and constructive attitude toward work and what other people
might consider drudgery. You enjoy helping people improve their lives, and the
more service you render, the more benefits and rewards you find coming back to
you. Promoting health in some manner is a very good avenue for you.
You are prone to impractical dreams and schemes and quixotic visions of what
could be. If your plans are too farfetched or grandiose, they are apt to never
be realized. Even if other factors in your chart indicate that you are a
well-grounded, realistic person, you still have this unfettered imagination
which sometimes runs away with you. Occasionally you can be duped.
You have good vision and foresight and your aspirations and objectives are
likely to be aimed high. A certain element of luck seems to surround you, and
you probably will be both lucky and successful in your enterprises.
You are inclined to look on the positive side of things and always are hopeful
for the future. You like simplicity, are modest, and content to live a plain and
ordinary life. Having a sense of tradition, you may be partial to history or
religion.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
You have a critical, cynical attitude towards many religions and philosophies.
Without realizing it, you prevent yourself from appreciating new viewpoints and
attitudes. You are more rigid and dogmatic than you realize. Your approach may
also be too intellectual or moralistic. You take your own political beliefs and
spiritual philosophy very seriously, worrying and fretting if you are not 100%
clear about some ideology or theory.
You are serious-minded and may have difficulty making light social conversation
or participating in friendly, personal interchanges.
You try to be strictly accurate and are critical of people who exaggerate or
talk on subjects they really know little about. You withhold your thoughts and
opinions until you have thought everything through quite thoroughly, and
sometimes your silence discomforts others.
Your mental concentration is very good but your breadth of understanding may not
be.
Your vitality tends to be a bit low and you may have to fight against the
tendency to be inactive. Easily discouraged, you are inclined toward pessimism.
Perhaps your upbringing was too authoritative, causing problems with your
father.
Your outlook on life is inclined to be somewhat negative and you try to avoid
social interaction as much as possible. There is a morose side to your nature
that makes you feel that no one cares about you, that life is difficult and
perhaps not even worthwhile.
You tend to be very sensitive to your surroundings and are strongly influenced
by the prevailing conditions around you. You may feel that you have more
obligations than you can properly handle, and that it is hopeless to even try.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually
revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are
apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you
need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is
also described.
When under stress you are apt to close down the flow of your emotions, ignoring
your needs and feelings in order to do what you perceive as your duty or simply
what the practical realities of the situation require. This can lead to a
certain rigidity and hardness. If overdone, self-control, self-discipline, or an
exaggerated concern over what society, family or others expect of you makes life
more a burden than an adventure.
Developing tenderness, caring, feeling, and the feminine, nurturing aspects of
yourself is an important step in your unfolding. You need to learn how to
nourish and lovingly attend to both yourself and others. Letting yourself be
taken care of sometimes is okay!
The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in developing a
personal vision or philosophy of life, whether this be through religious or
philosophical studies, a broadening education, or visiting and drawing upon the
wisdom in distant lands or cultures. Cultivate the qualities described above in
this endeavor. Long distance communication and involvement with foreigners is
likely to be significant to you.
The following are specific activities that will support you in your growth.
These may or may not feel natural to you, and often there is some feeling of
resistance or initial awkwardness about doing these things, but they are
important on your path to wholeness.
Be a warrior and cultivate a positive, victorious, active approach to life and
to any problems you face. Act on your own behalf instead of stalling, waiting,
or hoping someone else will do it for you. Assert yourself openly and
courageously and don't be afraid to make mistakes or fall down. Any new
initiative is likely to have a few trial runs. Stir up a healthy fighting
spirit, pick yourself up, and go! Appreciate conflict and confrontation as a way
to grow.
You tend to feel inferior and your attitude in the presence of others could be a
bit negative or weak. You are inclined to shy away from groups and would be a
rather quiet and passive member of an organization or association.
You like beautiful surroundings and know how to create harmony in your
environment. You love to be around people and have a strong desire to be
influential in social circles.

Chapter 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive
Your work habits may be unstructured and you may find it difficult to settle
down to a routine task or work situation.
You are interested in new technologies or unusual, even revolutionary methods of
solving problems in your work. Nontraditional methods of healing and medicine
also fascinate you. You may work in an alternative health field or work for
change and reform in whatever field you choose.
You are idealistic in your social and political outlook, and your ideals may
impel you to join clubs, organizations, communities of like-minded people, or
groups that share your vision and your concerns.
You have a powerful sense of destiny and may be unusually, even ruthlessly,
ambitious. There is a very driven, compulsive quality to the way you pursue your
career or other important life goals, which is likely to win you both staunch
admirers and vigorous opponents.
There is a very "radical" side to you, and you may want to remake or change the
world in some significant way. Depending on other astrological factors in your
chart and your own decisions, you can be either very destructive or a powerful
force for healing and positive change in the world.
You are a bit nervous and have a tendency to act rashly or hastily. Your ideas
tend to change quickly and you are constantly distracted by new impressions. You
are an independent thinker and always interested to learn something new.
You are subject to frequent behavioral problems with people in your environment
and should use care not to become involved with certain characters who may put
you in embarrassing situations. You also should guard against dishonest people
who may try to deceive you.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group
In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation.
Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but
you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.
The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In
this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age
group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power,
and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second
topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the
dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and
last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes
areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and
also where it may be unstable and unreliable.
The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere
from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological
factors described in each of the three sections below.
The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
You are part of a 25 year group of people who have strong feelings for home and
country. You are a sentimental group, and feel deeply attached to your family
and your country. You cling to the familiar, are distrustful and fearful of
different cultures, and consequently a great deal of racial and ethnic prejudice
is common among your age group.
Your need for closeness and togetherness runs very deep and causes you to bond
closely to family members and old friends, and also makes you prone to be
involved in mass movements and group activities because they feed your largely
subconscious need for acceptance and support by others. Unfortunately, your age
group is easily carried away by a group frenzy and many of you often lack the
integrity or courage to think and act in an independent and rational way.
Your generation is very emotional and tenderhearted. Many of your group
sacrificed a great deal to help your children or other family members, while
other generations are unwilling to give as much as you have. Your tender
feelings and regard for the well-being of others can spur your age group to make
contributions towards the feeding of the hungry, care for the neglected, and
support for the needy, particularly children and mothers. You are a group of
people with a strong heart and a helpful hand. Many of you have parents and/or
children who are not nearly as supportive and helpful; many of your
contributions are not completely appreciated or even go unnoticed.
The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group
You are part of a 14 year group of people that have a very vivid and colorful
imagination. A love of color, fashion, and drama is very strong. Your generation
gave tremendous impetus and growth to Hollywood movies and other spectacular
arts. Most people of your age group have many fantasies and naive, starry-eyed
ideas about movie stars and other idols. Needless to say, this tendency to
idolize someone can lead to big disappointments and those of you who married
early in life projected your fantasies on your spouse, and had to gradually face
the realities as you matured.
What is New and Different in Your Age Group
You are part of a 7 year group of people who are highly independent,
self-reliant, self-willed, and rebellious. You are a rowdy bunch and your
generation broke many time-honored traditions and customs. Your age group
pioneered many new ideas that remained fashionable for many years; for example,
rock 'n' roll was introduced by people of your age group.
