The interpretation of your astrology chart begins on the following page.
You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple language, uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to contradict another statement, then you exhibit these opposite qualities at different times in your life. For example, a statement that you are highly sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both sociability and solitude at different times.
The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.
If you find this interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative, you might want to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to learn more about the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics
Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth (practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).
Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that dimension of life.
Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following chapters.
Oftentimes you overlook, ignore, or seem oblivious to the emotional aspects of a situation, focusing instead on "what needs to be done" in a straightforward and somewhat impersonal way. You can seem unfeeling or even callous. Actually you are more likely to simply be uncomfortable and uncertain how to respond when confronted with a great outpouring of emotion or with needs that are emotional and subtle rather than physical and tangible.
You also tend to distrust feelings, intuitive perceptions, or anything outside the realm of the concrete and rational. In other words, if you can't see it or touch it, you are likely to discount it.
Unless you learn to appreciate and open up to your own and others' feelings and inner experience, you are likely to live a rather dry existence, missing out on much of the richness of deep personal relationships and emotional intimacy.
Beware of allowing your responsibilities or work to so dominate your life that you forget to emotionally nourish yourself and your loved ones.
Although fundamentally realistic, with a definite conservative bent, you come across as rather liberal and open-minded, as you will read in the next chapter. Your apparent tolerance for varying points of view is limited, however, to those which seem well-grounded and workable to you.

Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others
The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3 you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.
You are a natural diplomat, reasonable, tolerant, fair, always willing to listen to varying viewpoints, and ready to see the other side of an issue. Even if you strongly disagree with someone, you will try to find points of similarity and agreement rather than emphasizing the differences. You often avoid taking an extreme or one-sided stance on anything. You have a strong desire for harmonious and pleasant relationships, and express a spirit of cooperation, compromise, friendship, and fairness. You very much want to be liked and because of your need for approval and acceptance, you are easily influenced by others' opinions, especially when young. You so much want to please that often you will suppress your own intense or unpleasant feelings in order not to offend others. Sometimes your politeness is interpreted as being phony or wishy-washy.
Your need to create harmony extends to your physical environment and personal appearance as well. You appreciate beauty and have a natural sense of balance, symmetry, and proportion. You do everything in good taste, with a sense of style and art. From your home furnishings to your choice of clothing, everything must be aesthetically appealing, not simply functional or utilitarian.
You also feel that relationships are an art, one that especially interests you and one that you are usually quite skilled at, for you possess tact and acute awareness of other people. Marriage is very significant to you and finding the right person to share your life with is extremely important. Being part of a close couple seems natural to you - you are not an independent loner. Having a partner increases your self-confidence. You do have a tendency, however, to become overly dependent on your partner and perhaps not to develop a clearly defined identity outside of the relationship. Finding the balance between being yourself and blending and uniting with another is a challenge for you.
Others see you as an agreeable, smooth, harmonious, and "nice" person. Though there may be much more to you, this is the sort of face you show to the world. You possess personal charm and an understated, noncombative manner. Your motto could be "you catch more flies with honey than with vinegar" for you usually take a friendly, cooperative approach rather than a strong, forceful, I'm-going-to-conquer-the-world attitude.
You project a feeling of broad-mindedness, generosity, and beneficence, a sense that you're someone others should listen to and treat with respect. Because you generally make such a favorable impression on people, many doors are open to you, and it may seem that you are somehow luckier than other people. Mostly this is due to the confidence you emanate.
You may well have been discouraged from freely expressing yourself, and an overemphasis on being acceptable, conforming to certain standards and expectations, and generally not getting out of line is apt to inhibit you quite a bit.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
Even though you have a tactful and generally pleasing way of expressing yourself (as described in the previous chapter), you actually have high standards and can be quite a perfectionist (as discussed below). Inside you are more skeptical and judgmental than you appear.
At heart you are modest and humble, and you rarely strive to be in the limelight or in a position of power. You have a sharp analytical mind, a keen eye for detail, and you prefer to observe, dissect, and study life from a distance. Conscientious and conservative, you can be relied upon to be careful, efficient, and thorough in your work and you take pride in doing a job well. What you may lack in self-confidence you often make up for in skill - developing expertise, technical knowledge, and competency in some specialized area. You are adept at using your hands to create or fix things, and meticulous attention to detail and careful craftsmanship are your forte. Some would say you are a little TOO meticulous, for you can be extremely critical and petty if everything is not done exactly as you think it should be, and you worry about things that other people consider trivial and unimportant. You like to organize, categorize, and arrange everything into a logical system, and you are often distinctly uncomfortable when something does not fit into a neat category. Disorganization vexes you. You probably wish that you were not such a perfectionist, for besides being a stickler for details, you can be mercilessly self-critical as well. Whether in your environment or in yourself, you tend to focus on the flaws, with a desire to improve, refine, and perfect. You are strictly factual, truthful, and scrupulously honest in your self-estimation, and you often do not give yourself enough praise or credit.
You are also highly discriminating and may be especially particular about your diet, hygiene, and health habits. You have high aesthetic standards and refined sensitivities, and will be bothered by elements in your surroundings (such as disorder, cigarette smoke, etc.) that others overlook. Your tastes are simple, understated, but refined. Coarseness, bluntness, and vulgarity really offend you. You can be difficult to live with sometimes because of your fastidiousness, your sensitivity, and your idiosyncrasies about food and cleanliness.
Though you seem rather cool and self-contained, you have a very helpful nature and you enjoy serving others. You are content to be in a supportive, assisting role rather than in the lead. You are quietly devoted to the ones you care for.
You are careful and cautious in your approach to life, realistic, practical, and disinclined to gamble. You analyze before you act. You are too serious sometimes. Allowing yourself to play and to make mistakes would be HEALTHY for you!
Leading groups and classes, and being involved in community efforts, social activities, events or movements are areas where you really shine and express your creativity. An awareness of politics or the larger social impact of individual actions is natural to you.
The unusual and unorthodox appeal to you, and you do not allow tradition, convention, or other people's expectations to dictate how you are going to live your life. You crave freedom, adventure, excitement, and discovery, and are not afraid of change. You possess inventive and creative genius.
You tend to think and act bravely and have a positive and firm demeanor. You have what it takes to make your own way in life. You may be a bit excitable, but never shy away from a good argument.
You tend to become excited and upset at the slightest cause, generating tension with others. You also could encounter strange experiences or coincidences with others. You may have a feeling of being different than others and want to be your own person.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities
One of your greatest assets is your ability to see both sides of an issue, and to negotiate and bring about compromise and reconciliation. Tactful, reasonable, and with considerable social finesse, you work well with people in business as well as in personal relationships. You are objective and somewhat detached from emotional bias, and make an excellent consultant, mediator, or public relations person. You insist upon fairness and seek to bring harmony or at least peaceful coexistence between people, and your diplomacy is a benefit in any business or social situation. You also have fine aesthetic sensitivities and could work in an artistic or cultural environment.
You don't speak up readily, even when you have a lot to say! Also, your mind tends to drift and you find it difficult to study very factual material that doesn't have much color or imaginative appeal. Your intuition and first impressions are likely to be quite accurate, however, and you tend to depend upon this faculty in making decisions.
You tend to be guided by wrong impressions of people and could easily deceive yourself about their character. On the other hand, you also may try to exploit other people's weakness and may even think of becoming involved in things that are a little shady.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
Serious and responsible, you try to carry the world on your shoulders and rarely let others know that you need help and support. You deny or ignore your own emotional needs and feel that others will not accept you if you appear "weak". You are especially uncomfortable with emotional dependency, and will tell yourself and others (even children) not to be a "baby". You need to accept that no one is self-sufficient all the time, and to be gentler with your "childish" emotional needs and wants. To others, you may appear to be rather hard-nosed and tough, with a businesslike attitude toward their personal concerns and feelings. Actually, no one is a truer friend. Your feelings and loyalties run deep, but you often do not let people know how much you care. You also need to learn to relax, enjoy yourself, and play sometimes.
You have strong attachments to your past, the place where you grew up, your heritage, and family traditions. In fact, you may be unable to step out of the habits and roles you learned as a child. Your tie to your mother is very strong and you also seek mothering and protection from your spouse and other family members as well.
You feel that little, daily acts of caring and thoughtfulness are essential to the happiness and success of a relationship and you know how to make others feel accepted, loved, and cherished. You enjoy good relationships with women.
Your intimate relationships and close personal relationships are often intense, highly-charged, and difficult, as they trigger deep emotional responses in you that have more to do with unsatisfied hungers and unmet childhood needs than with the present situation. You may feel like a voracious, bottomless pit when it comes to nurturing and emotional reassurance, and your neediness often drives others away. When you do let yourself feel close to another human being, painful long-buried feelings bubble to the surface as well perhaps grief at the losses you suffered, or anger at the neglect or hurt you endured. You may also reenact these situations in your present day relationships, in an unconscious effort to resolve and heal those old issues. You will do a lot of clearing and cleansing, if you can listen to what your feelings are telling you. If not, you will simply have a tumultuous, passionate, and stormy emotional life.
You are quietly devoted and faithful to your loved ones, and often become a kind of servant to your love partner. You are more comfortable showing love for someone by doing something for them, making something for them, or simply being there for them -rather than telling them so in a romantic, soul-stirring sort of way. You are timid about expressing too much sentiment or emotion. You also underestimate your attractiveness and lovability and doubt your own worthiness to receive love and appreciation.
You often hide your affection, or find your feelings difficult to express or get across to the person you love. Being openly affectionate and trusting often doesn't seem safe to you. You may feel your love won't be appreciated or reciprocated. You may get involved in secret love affairs or fall in love with a person who is quite unavailable to you. Love and sacrifice often seem to go hand in hand for you - having to give something up to be with the one you love, or having to relinquish some person or some aspect of an important love relationship.
Feelings of loneliness, extreme shyness, and/or fears of rejection plague you and may well inhibit you from expressing warmth and affection in an open way. Denying yourself pleasure, comfort, and "nice things" due to feeling unworthy can also limit the joy you allow yourself. Heartache and a loss of love in your life, perhaps while quite young, will serve to either close your heart to love or to cause you to deeply cherish the friends and love you receive from others. For you it is certainly true that "true love is hard to find", but you will value it tremendously when it does come to your life.
The feeling that "there is not enough for me" may cause you to be very frugal and stingy with money as well.
You are very romantic, idealistic, and imaginative about love. You yearn for your "true love" or "soul mate" and may become disappointed in others who never quite live up to your dream image of the perfect lover. You frequently fantasize about love and often fall in love with someone you can only love from afar. You may avoid making a definite personal commitment. Gentle and sensitive, you do not like to be approached in a very direct or aggressive manner. You are attracted to those with artistic or mystical inclinations.
You have a vivid imagination and are likely to imagine the most wonderful things, but you may over-idealize and tend to expect too much of love. You try to escape unpleasant experiences through fantasy and deception.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
You are proud and ambitious, and you strive to excel, to stand out and be recognized for who and what you are. You have a very strong ego drive and like to be Number One. You find it difficult to take orders from others or to stay in the background, and you hate being wrong; you always insist that you are right!
You are forceful, strong, energetic, determined, and highly competitive. You play hard, you play to win, and you do not give up easily. In fact, you see life as a competitive sport or performance. You love admiration and applause, and you have a strong sense of personal honor and integrity. You tend to be very self-confident, even arrogant. Because of your belief in yourself, you are able to accomplish much, but if your confidence is ever undermined, you become self-conscious, defensive, and rather belligerent.
You are likely to be known for your drive, energy, ambition, and competitive spirit. A successful career based on your ability to take initiative, be a leader, or excel in physical strength and prowess is likely. You most definitely want to be a winner and will work hard to achieve that.
Your self-confidence and vitality are strong and you believe you can do just about anything you want to. You have an enterprising spirit, a good sense of timing, and the ability to sense what will succeed and what won't. You usually make fortunate decisions in work or business activities. You enjoy healthy competition and you have a rather playful, good-humored attitude toward it. You mostly compete with yourself to see how far you can go or how much you can accomplish. You like to keep stretching your limits.
Intensely restless, dynamic, and energetic, you are always on the go. When you want something, you want it NOW, and you act decisively, impulsively, sometimes hastily and prematurely. Impatient, high-strung, and often nervous and tense, you find it difficult to slow down, pace yourself, or relax. You are fiercely individualistic and independent, self-willed and intolerant of restraints and restrictions imposed by others. You have a reckless disregard for authority and can be extremely rebellious. Cooperating with others is not your strong point! You are often brutally frank and abrupt with people, and can be quite impersonal when you are pursuing a desired goal. You may have an explosive temper when your will is blocked. You have a superabundance of energy and need much personal freedom to do things in your own style and at your own pace.
You impress others with your strong individuality and your powerful personality. You put all of your energy into getting ahead and attaining your ambitions and feel no desire to demonstrate your abilities to anyone, but your work is likely to be noticed.
Discipline, concentration, a realistic sense of what is attainable, and steady dedication to achieving your ambitions are the keys to your progress. You're apt to move slowly but constantly in the direction of your goals, and solid achievement is the outcome of this conservative approach.
You have two different career paths which appeal to you, and which may at some point be blended. The first has to do with the arts, entertainment, film, or music industry. The other is an involvement in the ministry, social betterment, charity or volunteer work. You have a high degree of sensitivity and this compassion is apt to be a key factor in your professional decisions and overall goals in life.
You want very much to be in a position to be able to positively influence and help many people. However, you may believe that you have to sacrifice your idealism or convictions in order to attain your ambitions. At times your desire for prominence, popularity, or stature may make you do things that put you in a dubious situation with your superiors.
You enjoy life, are original and like to be admired. You love to go out and are always looking for new social contacts. It doesn't take you long to like someone and you are likely to have many adventurous love affairs.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
Your strength lies in your ability to see the whole, rather than only the parts which compose it. You have a deep need to explore the world and to develop your own philosophy of life and sense of personal meaning. You vacillate between being open-minded and tolerant of differing views, and being dogmatic or overly zealous about your own viewpoint.
Wealth, material well-being, and prosperity are very important to you, and you would never choose a profession that didn't offer you great promise and opportunity for growth (financial and otherwise).
You are very generous and sometimes careless with money; you don't want to hold on to it, you want to enjoy it and use it to enrich your life. Whatever you do with your money, you do in a big way - making it, spending it, or blowing it! You may accumulate elegant, high quality things (art, jewelry, etc).
You have a need to escape from the demands of everyday life, and reach out to something bigger, more exotic, more exciting. Traveling is good for you. You may also daydream, fantasize, or philosophize a great deal.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
You often have a sense of longing or homesickness for something you cannot name or specify, and you may have both a great attraction toward, and fear of, mysticism and parapsychology.
Overcoming feelings of fear, guilt, anxiety, loneliness, or oversensitivity is an important task for you.
You take both your work and your health very seriously, but you may demand so much of yourself at work that you compromise your health. You can become a workaholic, not so much because you have lofty ambitions, but because you never feel like you've done enough. You are overly responsible or overly conscientious at work, so much so that you may not enjoy it at all.
You can also get overly involved in self-improvement or your health, and you tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac.
A conflict between your spiritual needs and ideals versus material desires or limitations of the "real world" will be one of your challenges. It may be hard for you to sort out your true values, especially when you are enmeshed in the demands of mundane life. Times of retreat, isolation, meditation and prayer, and voluntary simplicity can be helpful to you in this regard. Finding inner strength through spirituality and attunement to a higher source is ultimately the answer for you.
You have a serious outlook on life and a tendency to dwell on your own flaws as well as those of everyone else. You could be rather reserved with people and may find it difficult to express yourself, giving a more negative impression than you intended.
Basically shy, you tend to be somewhat inhibited in love and may feel uncomfortable or awkward expressing your love for someone. You long for love and dream about love, but also are inclined to torment yourself because of a seeming lack of affection.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also described.
You have a great capacity for sympathy, tenderness, and caring, which is a gift that you are apt to overdo at times. For balance, you need to develop mature self-discipline, self-control, and personal responsibility.
When under stress, you have a strong instinct to retreat back into the nest, to be a child again, or to become overwhelmed with feelings and longings to be taken care of. Also, you may encourage others to depend upon you emotionally (and otherwise) to an unhealthy degree. You need to learn how to set limits and to turn off the flow of support when necessary.
The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in the way you think, process information, and communicate. In your interactions with neighbors, colleagues, and acquaintances, try to bring out the qualities described above.

Chapter 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive
You need a lot of freedom in your close one-to-one relationships and you may experiment with nontraditional forms of relationships. You rebel against conventions and restrictions when it comes to marriage or personal relationships, and you're likely to choose a highly unusual, eccentric, or unconventional partner.
You are idealistic in your social and political outlook, and your ideals may impel you to join clubs, organizations, communities of like-minded people, or groups that share your vision and your concerns.
You have a powerful sense of destiny and may be unusually, even ruthlessly, ambitious. There is a very driven, compulsive quality to the way you pursue your career or other important life goals, which is likely to win you both staunch admirers and vigorous opponents.
There is a very "radical" side to you, and you may want to remake or change the world in some significant way. Depending on other astrological factors in your chart and your own decisions, you can be either very destructive or a powerful force for healing and positive change in the world.
You are inquisitive and curious and have great interest in novelties. You have the gift of replying with a swift witty answer when challenged, and flexible in thinking, you change your plans quickly if necessary, and always seem to make the right choice.
You are inclined to be a bit self-willed and could find it difficult to become a united member of your community. At the same time you have a tendency to become upset over the anti-social behavior of others.
Because of fluctuating energy, you could find it difficult to maintain your position in life. At times you may want to withdraw from others and prefer solitude. You probably find working together with others not very rewarding.
You seem to have an extraordinary amount of energy and the power to succeed in your career. You know what you want to accomplish and work toward your goal with great determination. You are likely to gain a leading position.
You have the endurance and strength to reach success no matter what difficulties you have to overcome. Your competitiveness could cause you to automatically dominate most relationships and you want to be in control of everything.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group
In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation. Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.
The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power, and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and also where it may be unstable and unreliable.
The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological factors described in each of the three sections below.
The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
You are part of a 25 year group of people who have strong feelings for home and country. You are a sentimental group, and feel deeply attached to your family and your country. You cling to the familiar, are distrustful and fearful of different cultures, and consequently a great deal of racial and ethnic prejudice is common among your age group.
Your need for closeness and togetherness runs very deep and causes you to bond closely to family members and old friends, and also makes you prone to be involved in mass movements and group activities because they feed your largely subconscious need for acceptance and support by others. Unfortunately, your age group is easily carried away by a group frenzy and many of you often lack the integrity or courage to think and act in an independent and rational way.
Your generation is very emotional and tenderhearted. Many of your group sacrificed a great deal to help your children or other family members, while other generations are unwilling to give as much as you have. Your tender feelings and regard for the well-being of others can spur your age group to make contributions towards the feeding of the hungry, care for the neglected, and support for the needy, particularly children and mothers. You are a group of people with a strong heart and a helpful hand. Many of you have parents and/or children who are not nearly as supportive and helpful; many of your contributions are not completely appreciated or even go unnoticed.
The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group
You are part of a 14 year group of people who are conservative and moderate in spiritual aspirations. Your age group tends to avoid speculation on metaphysical matters, and interest in psychic phenomena is considered very strange and weird by your age group. There is also a strong sense of right and wrong, and religious practices tend to emphasize ethics and moral judgment. The conservative, straight-laced atmosphere generated by your age group is frustrating to more imaginative types, who consequently rebelled against it.
What is New and Different in Your Age Group
You are part of a 7 year group of people who are very progressive in business and practical matters, and implement scientific ideas in practical ways to make life more comfortable. Home appliances, for example, were improved and marketed by your age group to a much greater degree than was previously done.
Your age group is also rather sensual and romantic, and is uninhibited in expressing romantic feelings. Your age group rebelled against repressive attitudes towards sexuality, and promoted overt expression of sexuality in movies, music, etc.
