The interpretation of your astrology chart begins on the following page.
You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple language, uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to contradict another statement, then you exhibit these opposite qualities at different times in your life. For example, a statement that you are highly sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both sociability and solitude at different times.
The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.
If you find this interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative, you might want to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to learn more about the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics
Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth (practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).
Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are "unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that dimension of life.
Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following chapters.
Your gift lies in your ability to perceive, understand, and communicate about matters of feeling, of heart and soul. You are thus well suited to any field that involves working with people as a counselor or teacher, and even if you are not so trained, others seek you out as an advisor, for you are able to clarify and sensitively discuss their personal concerns and problems. Relationship is really a primary importance to you and is the arena in which your richest and most fulfilling experiences lie. You, even more than most people, require friends and intimates to share your thoughts and your life with.
You also have an active and creative mind and are apt to spend much time reading, thinking or daydreaming, and/or writing (stories, music, lyrics, diaries, letters, etc.). Film or any media combining words with images and emotions also fascinates you.
At times your mind and intellect may seem to be at odds with your instinctive, emotional, feeling side, and it is your task to bring them together. You may spend a lot of time cogitating and mulling over your experiences and feelings, trying to understand and make sense of them.
You are quite sensitive (psychologically and physically) and may avoid direct, active participation in life.
You are likely to be overly humble or unsure of yourself and to look to others for inspiration, motivation, reinforcement, and approval. Tending to be somewhat passive, you must learn how to take initiative and motivate yourself.
A lack of warmth (either physically, emotionally, or both) may be evident in you, which can show itself physically as a low energy level, paleness and lack of color in the skin, or a tendency to be easily chilled, and emotionally as a marked coolness or aloofness with little spiritedness, joyfulness, or enthusiasm for living. Eating warming, spicy foods, living in a warm, sunny place, and using fire in your daily life (lighting candles, using a wood stove or fireplace for heat) can help balance you. Also, spending time with warm, cheerful, positive-minded people and developing a philosophy based on spiritual optimism can stir up your own zest of life.
Positively, you are unlikely to be egocentric and have a capacity for great patience and peacefulness.

Air and Water are Strong (F,E,A,W Scores = 0,5,20,24)
Fire is Weak (F,E,A,W Scores = 0,5,20,24)
Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others
The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3 you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.
You are very strong-willed and proud, but intensely private and not easy to know well. Behind your quiet exterior lies a great deal of emotional depth, sensitivity, complexity, and also fierce determination. When you want something you go after it rather quietly but insistently and wholeheartedly - and you usually get it.
You are not a person who lives lightly or superficially. You want to live passionately and intensely and are not averse to challenge, danger, or to facing the darker side of life - human pain and struggle. You function well in crisis situations and often seek them out, for you enjoy the feeling of living at full capacity.
You are very intuitive about other people and especially about their unspoken feelings and hidden motives. You usually have strong, immediate gut reactions, either positive or negative, which prove to be correct. You approach life very instinctively and are not always fully conscious of why you feel or act as you do. You also have a very strong affinity with animals - an acute sensitivity and a nonverbal kind of rapport with them.
In relation to others, you are rather cautious, sometimes even suspicious, until you get to know and trust them - and trust doesn't come easily to you. When you commit yourself emotionally to someone, be it friend or lover, you are intensely loyal and devoted to them and you also expect the same kind of unwavering, undying loyalty in return. If you are ever betrayed by someone you care deeply for, you are capable of hating and retaliating with as much fervor as you once loved. Nothing is done halfway. In fact, you are intensely involved and often jealously attached to whatever you care about, be it person, idea, or cause. There is definitely a streak of emotional fanaticism in you.
Because of your natural reserve, others may see you as something of an enigma. You are quite self-protective and often defensive. You are also very magnetic, especially to members of the opposite sex.
You appear sympathetic and approachable. Because you use your feelings and intuition in assessing people, others sense that you understand their feelings or their personal situations. At the same time you really want people to know how you feel, and their care and support are very important to you.
You have an appealing physical appearance and this, along with your winning ways, is apt to make you a favorite in your immediate environment. You're the "easy" one, and you know how to please others. Don't take your personal charm for granted, however, because you may also seem vain or too needy for approval.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
Though you appear rather intense, quiet, and enigmatic at first (as mentioned in the previous chapter), you are really quite friendly, sociable, and interested in people. You may feel torn at times between getting deeply involved emotionally, or staying light, free, and unencumbered.
You are, in many ways, an eternal child. Your mind is bright, alert, curious, flexible, playful, and always eager for new experiences - and your attention span is often quite brief. You grasp ideas quickly and once your initial curiosity has been satisfied, you want to go on to something else. You crave frequent change, variety, meeting new situations and people.
It may be hard for you to decide just where your talents and true vocation lie, for you have a multitude of interests and are loathe to limit yourself by concentrating on just one. You are easily distracted by all of the other fascinating possibilities. Your curiosity and restlessness propel you into many different experiences in life, and you are willing to taste or try anything once. Doing the same thing over and over again, even it is something you do well, is real drudgery for you.
You live in your head a great deal - reading, observing, thinking, spinning ideas around - and you need mental stimulation every bit as much as you need food and drink. In fact, if you had to choose between a good book or movie and a good lunch, you would very likely choose the former. You have a creative mind and often live by your wits.
You are also a very social creature, with a strong need to communicate and to interact with people. You enjoy using and playing with words and have a real flair for getting your ideas across in a clever, interesting, articulate manner. Writing or speaking are areas you have talent for.
You also have a rather light and mischievous sense of humor, and often do not take anything too seriously. Though you crave emotional involvement, it is hard for you to achieve it, for you are frequently unwilling to commit yourself to anything, to take responsibility, or to limit your personal freedom and mobility.
Your happiness lies in using your creativity and your language skills to communicate something meaningful, to teach, inspire, or bring people together. You have an unbiased mind and can usually offer a fresh, clear, uncluttered perspective. Your faults are your lack of constancy and persistence, and your tendency to overlook or ignore deep emotional issues and other people's feelings.
You invest a tremendous amount of your creative energy into your relationships with others, particularly your marriage or other close partnerships. You feel you need others in order to be all that you can be, and you are disinclined to solitary activities and endeavors.
Working with people on a one-to-one basis to bring about mutual understanding, harmony, and satisfaction is an area in which you can really excel. Counseling or negotiating are talents of yours.
You tend to see things from your perspective only and to be rather subjective. You also enjoy talking and expressing your views but you don't always listen as well. You have a clear mind, a love of learning and new experiences, and need constant mental stimulation and activity.
The unusual and unorthodox appeal to you, and you do not allow tradition, convention, or other people's expectations to dictate how you are going to live your life. You crave freedom, adventure, excitement, and discovery, and are not afraid of change. You possess inventive and creative genius.
Sensitive and imaginative, you are attracted to artistic and creative pursuits and to mysticism. You are impressionable and receptive, and you often have experiences that are unusual and unexplainable by the rational mind. You have an abundance of dreams, visions, and longings, but do not always have the concentrated will and stamina to make them concrete. Gentle, idealistic, and peace-loving, you often seek to avoid the hard realities of life. You have an ethereal quality about you.
Inwardly you are zealous and fanatical, though you may hide your personal desires and intentions, and the intensity of your feelings. You are driven by a deep inner sense of destiny and mission and an almost compulsive desire for personal recognition. You have an infatuation with power and are incredibly willful and stubbornly fixated on achieving greatness or being Somebody Special. You tend to worship heroes who have powerful personal magnetism and charisma, and often seek to emulate them. You have potential for tremendous good or tremendous evil.
Your deep comprehension and good powers of concentration give you the ability to judge matters wisely and prudently. You are a keen observer and also can be a persuasive speaker. You like to be in control, but need appreciation and recognition for your efforts.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities
You have an extremely active, lively and versatile mind with a multitude of interests and an inexhaustible curiosity about life. You are quick to grasp new concepts and equally quick to lose interest in an idea or project once your curiosity has been satisfied. You like to taste a little bit of everything -concentration and disciplined study are not your strong points. Mentally restless, you may change jobs or locations frequently, or do work that involves movement, travel, and variety.
You have a flair for language, playing with words, speaking, writing, or teaching in an entertaining and informative way. You also enjoy meeting new people, conversing and learning a little bit about them, and you work well with the public.
Sales, advertising, communications, journalism, or public relations are good areas for you. Your ability to be articulate and to communicate well is one of your greatest strengths.
You are often involved in verbal exchanges, interviewing, discussing, debating, counseling, negotiating, getting and giving feedback, and sharing information. You are drawn to intelligent and verbal people, with whom you can communicate and from whom you can learn. You love to have an audience to hear your ideas, and you also appreciate eloquent presentations by others.
You have a sharp mind and a sharp tongue as well, and love a vigorous discussion or debate. You express your thoughts in a clear, decisive, convincing style. You dislike vagueness and fuzzy thinking, and are quick to point out the discrepancies in another's argument. At times you are verbally aggressive and abrasive to others, and you tend to overstate your case or offend people by your unadorned frankness. You can be an effective spokesperson, lawyer, or salesman. You have an aptitude for writing as well, particularly criticism or satire. You enjoy mental challenges and mental work.
Even though you can be a decisive and convincing speaker (as indicated earlier), you also have a highly imaginative and intuitive mind. With this combination, there are a number of possibilities: you could accurately articulate the images and fantasies you have, you could forcefully convince others of your own brand of idealism (or illusion!), or perhaps you swing from being very clear and direct to being rather evasive or poetic. The following describes the more fluid, nonrational aspect of your thinking.
Your mind does not function in a linear, logical manner and you are often unable to express your thoughts in simple, everyday language. Symbols, images, art, or music better express your ideas. Flights of imagination and fantasy carry you into strange and beautiful worlds, and you could develop the ability to transcribe some of your perceptions to share with others, for example, by writing fantasy, fiction, lyrics, or poetry. You are sensitive to nuances and possess intuitive or psychic gifts, but you may become confused between imagination and true perception. You have a strong mystical and idealistic bent, and have difficulty concentrating your attention on practical or mundane activities. You are strongly attracted to metaphysical and spiritual topics.
Suspicious that appearances are superficial and masking the "real nitty-gritty", you are always probing beneath the surface to uncover the deeper, hidden aspects of a matter. You are interested in anything secret or mysterious. You have great powers of concentration and a penetrating mind, with an aptitude for research, investigative reporting, or detective work. You are also keenly observant and seem to have "x-ray vision" regarding the inner motivations and intentions of other people. You could make an excellent psychotherapist, uncovering the deeper causes and roots of a person's emotional problems. You may also be drawn to esoteric or occult studies and the development of unusual mental powers. Stories of mystery, intrigue, and espionage fascinate you.
You are physically vigorous and always ready for action. A quick thinker, you are able to make swift decisions and may unknowingly create for yourself opportunities to take control over others or to be a leader.
You may find it difficult to think logically and objectively. You also can be too trusting and unrealistic, and others may take advantage of you or use you. You tend to avoid confrontation, may withdraw and pretend to agree with others to avoid arguments.
You may have to deal with considerable nervous tension and are inclined to see everything a little cloudy. Expressing what is on your mind could be hard for you, and you could either intentionally or inadvertently deceive others, or vice versa.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
You respond very much to the emotional tone and atmosphere around you, and can be dominated by your fluctuating and unpredictable moods. You often appear irrational to others because you cannot always explain the reason or source of your feelings. Anyone who lives with you must accept your ups and downs and appreciate your need for times of withdrawal.
You are also very sympathetic and understand the unspoken feelings and needs of others. You take slights and rebuffs very personally and though you may forgive a transgression by a friend or loved one, you never forget it.
Though you want closeness very much, you often close yourself off and do not really trust others who may wish to get to know you. You are very wholehearted in your feelings and responses to people, and you want all or nothing from the people you care for.
You crave excitement, change, and discovery, and cannot tolerate a routine or lifestyle that offers little in the way of surprise or challenge. Excitable, spontaneous, and enthusiastic about anything new, you may be perceived by others as being too impulsive, especially in personal relationships. It is not easy for you to make or keep commitments, since you don't know how you will be feeling from one day to the next. Emotional freedom is very important to you. Your domestic life can be very unstable -but you like it that way.
Your emotional excitability is very strong and you tend to be high-strung and impatient. You know what you want to accomplish, forge ahead and brook no interference. Domineering and forceful, it is not easy for you to back down gracefully when you are confronted.
You seem to float above reality and have a very intense imagination. You like to daydream and are apt to have many wishes and illusions that rarely have a chance to materialize. You are guided by your feelings and seem to live in a world of your own.
Sensitive and sentimental, you are deeply attached to your family, old friends, familiar places, and the past. You are romantic and tender in love, and the remembrance of birthdays, anniversaries, family rituals, and other days of personal significance is very important to you. You seek caring, emotional support, and security in love. You like to be needed, to cherish and protect your loved ones, and you are somewhat possessive of them.
You are attracted to foreigners, exotic places, traveling, and to people who can expand your horizons, teach you something, or show you places and worlds you have never experienced before. Sharing a philosophy or ideal with your love partner is important to you.
Also, you feel a love and kinship for people everywhere, not only with your own family, nationality, or group. Finding similarities and making links between people from differing backgrounds or with different perspectives is a gift of yours.
Intimacy does not come easily to you and you may appear cold or unfeeling to others due to your emotional reserve and caution. Perhaps due to painful relationships and separations in your early life, you do not trust others very easily and it takes a long time to take down all of your barriers and defenses. You may feel that you have few friends or people that really care about you. You need to learn to value and love yourself more and to express your appreciation for others more openly.
You have artistic interests and may be attracted to people who are artists, are connected with artistic endeavors or interested in art. You are very sociable and feel more at home in beautiful surroundings.
You may be subject to periodic changes of mood, are serious, somewhat somber, and you seem to lack confidence in yourself and could have trouble giving of yourself. You tend to withdraw from others, expecting to be disappointed if you let anyone come too close.
You seem to have an unusual power of attraction to other people and frequently may associate with others whether they are good for you or not. Very compulsive in love, you could have a kind of tragic love union.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
Once you set your mind on a goal, your dedication, determination, and commitment to it are extraordinary. You pursue your ambitions tenaciously and will stubbornly refuse to give up, let go, or be influenced in any way. Like Aesop's tortoise, you labor patiently and steadfastly until you achieve what you want -or until it is clear beyond a shadow of a doubt that all is lost. You are a reliable, consistent, and productive worker, and often shoulder more of the workload than your co-workers, usually without complaint. The nitty-gritty work often falls to you. You prefer a regular routine, with definite hours and clearly defined responsibilities and tasks. In fact, establishing a pattern or routine is very important to your success because once you get started in a certain direction, is easy for you to follow it through to its completion. Getting started is more difficult. You have a lazy, comfort-loving side and there is often a good deal of inertia for you to overcome before you get going. Once you get a momentum going, your energy level is strong and steady.
You are interested in concrete results and solid, practical achievement. You need to have some tangible product or contribution to show for your efforts, and cannot be content with only intangible rewards (such as having a good time, learning, or spiritual enrichment). Material well-being and security is also a large factor in determining what you do. Your stamina and persistence is your great strength but it can also work against you; you can get caught in a rut and refuse to seize new opportunities. You also tend to play it safe, and to limit yourself in that way.
You are attracted to feisty, dynamic, strong-willed people, and you seem to need a lot of fireworks in your personal relationships. You can be very combative, or get involved with people who are. Ideally you will join with people who are energetic and ambitious, but not too domineering or aggressive.
While you enjoy challenging yourself to extend your abilities or try new activities, you are apt to bite off more than you can chew. Failures or accidents due to overestimating your prowess or capacities and being overly eager and poorly prepared, may result. Fortunately these disappointments or blunders do not dampen your spirits or your ambitions permanently; you have a lot of resilience and optimism. Most likely you'll need to develop your physical coordination and sense of timing in order to do some of the activities you dream of doing.
Your competitive drive and big ambitions (commented upon earlier) are fueled upon by either strong spiritual idealism, or a rather inflated, grandiose idea of what you can actually accomplish. Your energy level is apt to fluctuate from being very strong, as noted earlier, to rather low, as mentioned in the following paragraphs.
You have a very active and fertile imagination and your ambitions are never strictly mundane, practical, and concrete. You have a strong desire to act out your fantasies, dreams, visions, and ideals. Artistic creation, drama, or other areas in which you can express yourself imaginatively are excellent for you. Ordinary life seems drab and uninteresting to you, and you need to have some big dream or something larger than your own narrow personal interests to live for. Sometimes you may be confused about exactly how and where to direct your energy and often drift along rather than making clear decisions about what you want. You have a passive side and at times lack the will power, physical energy, strength, and the fighting spirit to achieve your aims.
When you want something, you go after it with passionate zeal and are sometimes so driven by your desire that you lose all objectivity. You get so deeply involved in whatever you are pursuing that you become one-sided, even fanatical. Strong-willed and stubborn, you insist on having your way no matter the cost. You are fascinated with power. You often try to overpower anything or anyone you perceive as an obstacle, if not physically then by the force of your will. You can be ruthless and impersonal when it comes to achieving your ambitions and goals in life. You have enormous energy and are capable of extraordinary effort and great achievement. You can also become a compulsive workaholic.
Although you vigorously pursue your own interests, you can work together with others just as energetically. You are a fighter, a good colleague and a comrade in arms. Very active in the career world, you stand up for work and are willing to fight for it.
Your resistance and stamina is inclined to be a bit low and you tend to be easily influenced by others. You may leave yourself open to being corrupted by others and should guard against involvement in situations that you may later regret.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
Your strengths lie in your ability to cooperate, to be diplomatic, and to know just what behavior is called for in whatever social situation you find yourself. You also possess a strong sense of fairness, the willingness to listen to opposing viewpoints and opinions, and the ability to be (or at least seem to be) impartial and moderate, rather than extreme and one-sided.
You are drawn to social work, the ministry, giving your time and energy to charitable organizations, or to serving and helping the disadvantaged in some way. Your generosity and unselfishness will bring you and others much good.
You are prone to impractical dreams and schemes and quixotic visions of what could be. If your plans are too farfetched or grandiose, they are apt to never be realized. Even if other factors in your chart indicate that you are a well-grounded, realistic person, you still have this unfettered imagination which sometimes runs away with you. Occasionally you can be duped.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
You fear becoming emotionally dependent upon others, and may distance yourself or deny your needs for closeness and intimacy so that you won't be vulnerable to rejection or abandonment. On the other hand, you may cling excessively or need constant reassurance from loved ones and family. Developing a deep, inner sense of security, as well as the ability to give and receive nurturing are important tasks for you.
Your attitude toward religion, philosophy, and politics is very conservative and possibly narrow or rigid. On the one hand, you may believe in nothing that is speculative or intangible, requiring proof for any idea presented to you. Each idea is thoroughly and systematically examined. On the other hand, you may tenaciously cling to your grand philosophical or metaphysical beliefs and opinions, refusing to modify them or to be open and receptive to others' insights and perspectives.
Your overall outlook on life is serious, and you may feel that life or God will punish you if you do not watch your step!
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is also described.
Your path lies in developing yourself as an individual, discovering your own strengths and joys, giving expression to your uniqueness, and letting yourself shine and stand out from the crowd. This involve becoming a leader, even though your instinct is actually to be "one of the Indians" rather than the "chief". When under stress you are apt to seek safety in numbers, to go along with the group. Also, you may believe that striving to do your personal best and to excel is wrong or selfish, but you should let go of this notion. Finding your own center and doing what gives you delight and energy is the most worthwhile contribution you can offer the world at large.
The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in your public life and career. All of these issues will impact your reputation and standing in your community or professional circle, as well as how you achieve your important life goals and aspirations.
You have a very obliging manner and are always in search for new contacts. You are able to identify with people quite easily and probably will make many friends who can be of help to you.
You have a vivacious and lively manner with a tendency to shock others at times by bluntly blurting out your remarks. You love to be with people, but tend to get overly excited when you are with them.
You tend to have deep bonds with the people you associate with and are likely to encounter some unusual or fated relationships. Some of your contacts could be with very influential people who may be of help to you in the future.

Chapter
9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive
You have unusual, even eccentric friends, and you are likely to join groups, communities, organizations, or clubs which promote progressive or unconventional ideas, social change, or innovation in some form. You are dynamic and creative in business affairs and in organizations.
You often have very naive, idealistic, or overly romantic attitudes toward people, and it's difficult for you to see others realistically. You may prefer to keep your relationships on an idealistic or platonic level, so that you don't have to deal with the more prosaic, earthy, human aspects of relating.
Thoroughly investigate potential marriage or business partners, as your gullibility and desire to see only the best in people may blind you to the truth about others with whom you form a close alliance.
Emotional intensity, compulsive attraction, and a sense of fate or destiny characterize your one-to-one relationships. It's as if you simply cannot have light, superficial relationships; they are inevitably profound, intense experiences which reveal your depths to you. You may be drawn to powerful, charismatic, willful people that challenge, thwart, and ultimately evoke your own power and strengths. Your marriage is likely to be the arena for your greatest growth.
You tend to have fantastic plans and may talk about them, but never get around to act on them. Your mind seems to wander constantly, and you may also have a habit of making promises to others and then not keeping them.
You seem to have nerves of steel and you are ambitious and courageous with a strong desire for power. You impress others as someone not to be trifled with. You have far-reaching plans and are likely to reach success early in life.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group
In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation. Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.
The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power, and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and also where it may be unstable and unreliable.
The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological factors described in each of the three sections below.
The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
You are part of a 30 year group of people who have a lighthearted and carefree attitude towards life. Your subconscious and emotional needs are not as great and not as difficult as other generations. You approach life in a more airy and easygoing manner. You know how to have a good time and do not take life as seriously as other generations do.
You are a curious and inquisitive bunch and love puzzles and word games. Some members of your generation will follow these interests with great depth, and contribute spectacular breakthroughs in the areas of languages, mathematics and logic.
These breakthroughs also highlight the importance of educational skills and the benefits they can bring, and your generation is highly motivated to improve the educational standards and academic skills of people. A tremendous push is given to ensure literacy of all people, to develop adequate verbal and mathematical skills, and to slow down the dropout rate from high schools. Needless to say, these are noble goals that all generations support, but your generation puts a much greater emphasis on these issues than others age groups do.
The generation following yours is far more emotional and personally sensitive than your group. Consequently, many of you are oblivious to the emotional support and tender nurturing that your children (who are likely to be members of this next generation) require.
The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group
You are part of a 14 year group of people that are very practical and down-to-earth in their religious philosophy and spiritual outlook. Your age group incorporates its ideals and visions into everyday life, and invests more time and energy than other generations do in beautification projects, developing parks and recreation areas, and preserving beautiful or unique natural wildlife areas. Building construction is also done with careful attention to the aesthetic quality, and your generation finds it difficult to understand how other age groups can erect buildings with so little aesthetic appeal.
Your age group does not speculate a great deal about spiritual and metaphysical matters. You are more involved in utilizing your imagination and intuition in practical, artistic ways rather than exploring metaphysical issues. Some of the art and music of your generation is among the world's most beautiful.
The entire generation to which you belong has tremendous opportunities for spiritual rebirth and awakening. This will not be forced upon you or precipitated by unavoidable events, rather it comes from an inner yearning and a natural propensity to seek the depths.
What is New and Different in Your Age Group
You are part of a 7 year group of people who strive for greater equality in relationships. You treat parents, children, and spouses much more like friends and equals than other generations do, and many of you will experiment with alternative marriage styles that allow for greater freedom and equality in relationships.
