You will find that the interpretation of your chart is written in simple
language, uncluttered by astrological jargon. If a statement appears to
contradict another statement, then you exhibit these opposite qualities at
different times in your life. For example, a statement that you are highly
sociable and gregarious and a statement that you prefer solitude seemingly
contradict each other; this means that you vacillate, and need both sociability
and solitude at different times.
The astrological factor that the interpretation is based on is also given. The
astrological factor is given for the benefit of astrologers and students of
astrology. If you are not a student of astrology, then obviously the factor will
not be meaningful to you, and you can ignore it.
If you find this interpretation of your birth chart interesting and informative,
you might want to discuss your birth chart with a professional astrologer to
learn more about the astrological influences on your life.

Chapter 1: General Characteristics
Your fundamental needs, values, and orientation towards life are symbolized by
the four astrological elements. Each person has their own unique balance of
these four basic energies: fire (warmth, inspiration, enthusiasm), earth
(practicality, realism, material interests), air (social and intellectual
qualities), and water (emotional needs and feelings).
Your "elemental make-up" is described below. Remember that most people are
"unbalanced" or lopsided, and if you are lacking or deficient in a certain
element (or elements), it simply means that you need to consciously develop that
aspect of yourself to learn to appreciate and/or to work harder in that
dimension of life.
Sometimes we overvalue the element that we are least endowed with, sensing it as
a lack within ourselves, but more often we neglect or ignore it. The qualities
described below will be reiterated and explained in more detail in the following
chapters.
You are an "up" person, positive-minded and lively, and you generally have an
invigorating, inspiring, energizing effect upon other people. Boredom or getting
stuck in the rut of old habits is not a problem for you, as you have numerous
interests and the energy to pursue many of them. However, overextending
yourself, pouring your energies out without taking time to replenish yourself,
scattering your forces or moving on to new things before you finish something
are definite tendencies. You can burn yourself out by being involved in too many
activities. You seem impelled to be always in motion, as if you were afraid you
would miss something interesting "out there". Paying attention to your body's
needs for rest, attending to your own inner world and to your feelings and
giving sufficient attention to your immediate family and their needs is
something you need to learn to do more of. It would benefit you to simply stop
from time to time and just be for awhile.
You are very idealistic and are frequently disappointed that we do not live in a
perfect world, but it is through the vision and energy of people like yourself
that new ideas are introduced and positive changes made. Your gifts are your
ability to entertain and play with creative ideas and possibilities, to seek new
solutions to problems, and to venture gladly into new territory (literally or
figuratively).
You need to cultivate the quality of receptivity; the ability to listen and
quietly absorb what another is saying, for instance, instead of focusing on what
you have to say. Learning to wait and to trust rather having to make something
happen or trying to bend the world to your will is another aspect of this.
One of your primary challenges involves developing a stable sense of security,
solidness, and a steady rhythm in your life. Cultivating self-discipline,
patience and endurance, and learning to accept realistic limitations will enable
you to be more productive and to actualize some of the ideas and creative
impulses you have. You are not always interested in practical applications, the
actual work involved in realizing a desire or compromises for the sake of
practicalities.
You feel out of place in the world at times, restless, discontent, unable to
find your niche, dissatisfied with mundane reality. Positively this may spark
your exploration of the creative, imaginative, or spiritual side of life.
However, you tend to resist growing up and learning how to effectively deal with
adult responsibility. You also tend to be either bound up with the past or
projecting into the future, ignoring the present moment - what actually is. To
become more present and grounded, you may find the following helpful: getting
massages on a regular basis, doing gentle regular, rhythmic exercise like
walking or yoga, and eating substantial, heavy foods.
You have difficulty dealing with your own and others' emotions. Feelings and the
emotional reality of a situation are often ignored or discounted by you and you
may thus seem insensitive or uncaring to others. Deep emotional rapport,
empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to the feelings of others is something that
you need to develop, and will be in more evidence later in life rather than in
your youth.
Though you may appear emotionally self-sufficient or above it all, your denied
feelings can result in physical problems, so it is wise and important for you to
learn to acknowledge and express all of your emotions.
You may also find that you crave a great deal of liquid, or to live near bodies
of water, as a way to gain balance.
Astrological influences analyzed in Chapter 1:
Fire and Air are Strong (F,E,A,W Scores = 22,2,24,1)
Earth is Weak (F,E,A,W Scores = 22,2,24,1)
Water is Weak (F,E,A,W Scores = 22,2,24,1)
Chapter 2: How You Approach Life and How You Appear To Others
The following is a description of your basic stance towards life, the way others
see you, the way you come across, the face you show to the world. In Chapter 3
you will read about the "The Inner You: Your Real Motivation", which describes
the kind of person you are at heart and where your true priorities lie. Read
this chapter and the next one and compare them - there may be significant
differences between them, in which case "the inner you" may not shine through
and others are in for some surprises when they get to know you at a more than
superficial level. This chapter describes the costume you wear, your role in
life, while Chapter 3 talks about the real person inside the costume.
Forward-looking and progressive, you are a person who supports change,
innovation, and human advancement, and you are often strongly committed to a
humanitarian cause or social improvement. You are extremely aware of the
interconnection and interdependence of all people, and are always relating
personal issues to some larger framework. You see the political or social
ramifications of personal actions, and you wish to contribute something of value
to the world, or at least to your community or group.
The ideals of equality, fairness, human rights, brotherhood, social justice,
etc. color your whole outlook and approach to life. You are truly interested in
the good of the whole and not only your own personal well-being.
Sometimes you may overlook or ignore your own and others' personal needs,
desires, and feelings, especially if they do not conform to your ideals of how
one SHOULD feel or act. Though you have little patience for conservative
narrow-mindedness, you yourself are sometimes dogmatic about your beliefs and
ideologies.
You are attracted to the avant-garde, the latest advances in human thought and
development, and you are eclectic and cosmopolitan in your tastes. You may
consider yourself a "global citizen" rather than claiming a narrow, limited
identification based on nationality, race, familial heritage, etc. You are
strongly influenced by your peer group and the flavor of the times in which you
grew up, more so than by parental or family influences. You are involved and
active in groups, community efforts, cultural and progressive movements.
On a personal level, you are friendly and express a kind of impersonal good will
towards others. You probably have many acquaintances but few really close
friends, and much of your closeness with others is based on a sharing of common
ideals and principles, rather than on emotional ties. Others see you as a good
friend and comrade, who is objective, fair, and rather detached emotionally. You
do not often show your emotions, and may be unsure how to respond to others'
emotional expression, for you tend to be very rational.
You are also very independent and refuse to be possessed by any individual. You
are not comfortable with traditional sexual roles and are inclined to have
"liberated" views about marriage, relationships, sharing of child rearing
responsibilities, etc. You need to have a life outside of the personal, domestic
sphere and to be involved with people on a broader scale. The nurturing of
family ties, and close, deep, personal sharing may take a back seat to your work
or outside social activities.
There is a certain depth and intensity about you that may be threatening to
others. No matter how gentle or unassuming you may be on the surface, you are
also a force to be reckoned with. You have causes, passions, or desires that
drive you and when one of these is aroused you are quite zealous in your pursuit
or defense of it.
You are somewhat erratic and constantly looking for something new. You change
your opinions frequently and others never know what you will do. Because you are
easily excitable and unpredictable, others may find it taxing to spend time with
you.
You may find it difficult to get ahead because you lack the vitality to do so.
You tend to wait for better conditions and have the desire to accomplish a lot
without straining yourself too much. Quite often, though, your plans just seem
to hang in the air.

Chapter 3: The Inner You: Your Real Motivation
Although you have lofty ideals and are high-minded in many ways (as mentioned in
the previous chapter), there is a side of you that is sly, funny, and really
cannot take anything too seriously. Your sense of humor saves you from becoming
overly earnest about yourself or the things you believe in.
You are, in many ways, an eternal child. Your mind is bright, alert, curious,
flexible, playful, and always eager for new experiences - and your attention
span is often quite brief. You grasp ideas quickly and once your initial
curiosity has been satisfied, you want to go on to something else. You crave
frequent change, variety, meeting new situations and people.
It may be hard for you to decide just where your talents and true vocation lie,
for you have a multitude of interests and are loathe to limit yourself by
concentrating on just one. You are easily distracted by all of the other
fascinating possibilities. Your curiosity and restlessness propel you into many
different experiences in life, and you are willing to taste or try anything
once. Doing the same thing over and over again, even it is something you do
well, is real drudgery for you.
You live in your head a great deal - reading, observing, thinking, spinning
ideas around - and you need mental stimulation every bit as much as you need
food and drink. In fact, if you had to choose between a good book or movie and a
good lunch, you would very likely choose the former. You have a creative mind
and often live by your wits.
You are also a very social creature, with a strong need to communicate and to
interact with people. You enjoy using and playing with words and have a real
flair for getting your ideas across in a clever, interesting, articulate manner.
Writing or speaking are areas you have talent for.
You also have a rather light and mischievous sense of humor, and often do not
take anything too seriously. Though you crave emotional involvement, it is hard
for you to achieve it, for you are frequently unwilling to commit yourself to
anything, to take responsibility, or to limit your personal freedom and
mobility.
Your happiness lies in using your creativity and your language skills to
communicate something meaningful, to teach, inspire, or bring people together.
You have an unbiased mind and can usually offer a fresh, clear, uncluttered
perspective. Your faults are your lack of constancy and persistence, and your
tendency to overlook or ignore deep emotional issues and other people's
feelings.
The urge to learn and to communicate is essential to you, and you express
yourself very well through writing, teaching or sharing ideas and information.
You are persuasive and fluent with language.
Restless and inquisitive, you enjoy being mobile and taking short trips and
excursions in order to see for yourself what is going on in the world around
you.
You can be an inspiring leader of a team or group effort. Your dynamism and
energy evokes the same in others, and you see healthy competition between people
as a plus. Generally, you enjoy fine health as well.
Along with your energy and drive you have high ideals and an active fantasy
life. There is a dreamer and an idealist in you, as well as a doer and a
fighter. You want to win but not at others' expense, and this maybe something of
a dilemma for you.
You are extremely sensitive and imaginative, and you can get lost in your
dreams, fantasies, and visions. You are attracted to artistic and creative
pursuits, the world of color, beauty, and emotion. You are also drawn to
mysticism and have deep spiritual aspirations and yearnings. Gentle and
peace-loving, you may lack the will and competitive spirit needed to make your
way in the world. You are often impractical and may seek to avoid or escape the
hard realities of life.

Chapter 4: Mental Interests and Abilities
You have an extremely active, lively and versatile mind with a multitude of
interests and an inexhaustible curiosity about life. You are quick to grasp new
concepts and equally quick to lose interest in an idea or project once your
curiosity has been satisfied. You like to taste a little bit of everything
-concentration and disciplined study are not your strong points. Mentally
restless, you may change jobs or locations frequently, or do work that involves
movement, travel, and variety.
You have a flair for language, playing with words, speaking, writing, or
teaching in an entertaining and informative way. You also enjoy meeting new
people, conversing and learning a little bit about them, and you work well with
the public.
Sales, advertising, communications, journalism, or public relations are good
areas for you. Your ability to be articulate and to communicate well is one of
your greatest strengths.
You have an introspective turn of mind and may enjoy keeping a journal or a
record of your dreams and personal experiences, or learning about psychology,
history, and the inner workings and emotional foundations of your own life. You
are studious and something of a bookworm.
You have very little interest in or facility for technical, mechanical things.
The human personal side of life, people, psychology, the inner side of life is
your forte. You understand children and enjoy conversing, counseling, listening,
and learning about them. You also need a variety of social and intellectual
experiences on a regular basis, and will be restless, nervous, and irritable if
you can not get out and about. You often need to be mobile, to go for a walk or
a drive, to settle yourself and reestablish your emotional equilibrium. You tend
to dwell on the past, to ponder its significance, and to long for it at times.
Nostalgia and sentimentality color your thinking quite a bit.
You appreciate aesthetics and have a fine sense of form, design, and beauty. You
could develop great technical skill as an artist, designer, craftsman, or
creative writer. You could also sell objects of beauty - artistic products,
cosmetics, jewelry, etc.
You have the ability to please and harmonize well with others and a talent for
assuaging strain in the relationship of two other people. Your sense of humor,
tact, and personal charm are a great benefit to you in any work with people on a
one-to-one level.
You have the ability to influence others to your way of thinking and could do
well in a propaganda campaign. You think in big dimensions and have a gift for
speaking. You are interested in subjects that encompass a larger view of the
world.

Chapter 5: Emotions: Moods, Feelings, Romance
Open and generous, you enjoy a wide circle of friends and acquaintances and you
thrive on sociability and fellowship. You are adventurous, playful,
freedom-loving, and always ready for a good time. You rarely allow obstacles or
difficulties to keep you down, for no matter how bleak the past or present, you
always expect a better, brighter future. In fact, you are uncomfortable with
your own or other people's problems and emotional pain. You often try to "cheer
up" or offer philosophical advice to those who are hurting, but unwittingly you
avoid or ignore the emotions involved.
Friendship means a great deal to you, perhaps even more than love or romance.
For you to be happy, your mate must be your best friend and encourage your
aspirations and ideals. You also need a great deal of emotional freedom and
mobility.
You work well with the public and have an instinct for what the public wants and
will respond to. Having a "nest" is not especially important to you, and you may
invest more of your emotional energy into your career or public life than in
your private life. Providing for and caring for others in a professional
capacity is very likely.
You feel that little, daily acts of caring and thoughtfulness are essential to
the happiness and success of a relationship and you know how to make others feel
accepted, loved, and cherished. You enjoy good relationships with women.
You have a very rich emotional life and the ability to do the right thing at the
right moment. Through an appeal to the feelings, you are able to influence the
public; you may have the desire to work in some capacity to bring about social
improvements.
Your love feelings and desires are easily aroused but it may be difficult to
sustain your romantic interest in a relationship after the initial, exciting
"chase and conquest". You enjoy a partner who is dynamic and alive, someone with
a strong independent streak, and you do not like things to become too peaceful
or predictable in the love arena. You want to see sparks fly once in awhile,
even if that means instigating a fight.
For you, caring and affection must be expressed tangibly, and you love giving
and receiving gifts. You value luxury, comfort, and elegance very highly and
appreciate beautiful things. You can be self-indulgent and extravagant. Being
overly possessive of people you love and of your belongings is something you
need to beware of.
Loyalty, fidelity, and security are very important to you in love. You are
cautious about giving your heart away but true to the one who does win your
love. Your tastes are simple, even austere, and you do not appreciate frivolity.
You are interested in a person's character and inner qualities far more than
their appearance. Casual or superficial relationships don't interest you at all,
for love seems to get deeper and richer and more satisfying for you with time.
Sensitive and compassionate, you tend to be the "giver" in any relationship. You
have high ideals and a refined attitude towards love, seeking to relate in ways
that are beyond ego needs and selfishness. You are attracted to people with
artistic or mystical inclinations.
Somewhat over-enthusiastic in matters of love, you could fall in love with the
wrong person. You may be too selfless and have the illusion that your only need
in a relationships is to make the other person happy, leading to disappointments
and regrets.

Chapter 6: Drive and Ambition: How You Achieve Your Goals
You are proud and ambitious, and you strive to excel, to stand out and be
recognized for who and what you are. You have a very strong ego drive and like
to be Number One. You find it difficult to take orders from others or to stay in
the background, and you hate being wrong; you always insist that you are right!
You are forceful, strong, energetic, determined, and highly competitive. You
play hard, you play to win, and you do not give up easily. In fact, you see life
as a competitive sport or performance. You love admiration and applause, and you
have a strong sense of personal honor and integrity. You tend to be very
self-confident, even arrogant. Because of your belief in yourself, you are able
to accomplish much, but if your confidence is ever undermined, you become
self-conscious, defensive, and rather belligerent.
You expect to work hard for anything you accomplish and you have no patience for
people who don't pull their own weight. Work is a passion for you at times, and
you push yourself too hard. You can be too demanding of the people you work with
also.
If your energy is not invested in a job or career, you can become a fanatic
about your health, and you may exercise or "work out" vigorously and perhaps
excessively.
You are dynamic, decisive, and somewhat impulsive. You respond quickly and
spontaneously to challenges, and you enjoy vigorous physical activities that
require fast reflexes and a good sense of rhythm and timing. You have an
abundance of energy and vitality, and a restless desire to see progress and
change -you hate stagnation. You are individualistic and make a good leader,
spearheading new projects and inspiring others to act.
Eccentric, individualistic and very excitable, you can create a stir wherever
you go. If you are not careful, you could often find yourself involved in
quarrels or even violent assaults. To avoid trouble, it would be wise for you to
learn to deal with others without anger.
Your energy may be a bit low and you don't seem to have enough stamina to resist
external powers. You easily could be used as a medium, or someone else may set
you up as a tool to further their interests without you knowing what is really
going on.
You are very sensitive to the inner qualities of sincerity, honesty, integrity,
and good will. You notice these qualities (or the lack of them) more quickly
than others and bring them up frequently. You are philosophical about life and
very perceptive, but may have an exaggerated sense of your own wisdom and depth
of understanding of religious, metaphysical, artistic, or intuitive subjects.
Your ambitions and long-range goals in life are apt to be personal, subjective,
and related to inner development or inner satisfaction. Others' recognition or
accomplishing something great in material or public terms is quite secondary to
you.
A great deal of your energy, attention, and fulfillment may be related to home,
family, or fulfilling your heritage in some manner.
You have an abundance of energy, drive, and spirit to accomplish just about
anything you desire. Your single-mindedness and zeal to get things done enable
you to accomplish much. Sometimes you push yourself too hard without even
realizing it, but sometimes even you need to relax and stop doing. You have the
reputation for being a go-getter and a good worker.
You have a desire to teach other people what you know and may be interested in a
career that serves the public through some educational programs. You are a very
stimulating companion, but want to be the central figure in discussions.
You are inclined to deem yourself irresistible and could give the impression of
being a bit snobbish. You tend to concentrate mostly on yourself and expect
others to adapt to your wishes. Very creative, you also strive to be the best
artistically.

Chapter 7: Growth and Expansion: Areas That You Enjoy
Material comfort, security, and well-being are quite important to you, and you
are not one to have your head in the clouds when financial matters and future
security are at stake. Your strengths are practicality, a love of the earth, and
the ability to take great delight in the sensual pleasures of the natural world.
Also, when you feel secure financially, you are likely to be very generous and
hospitable.
You have a great love of learning and an eager, curious, active mind which
impels you to travel and see as much of the world as possible. You read widely,
and may excel academically. You love being in a teacher-student relationship and
may stay in school for many years, prolonging your studies for as long as
possible! You also communicate well and would be an effective, inspiring
teacher.
Public relations or any field involving communications and sharing information
also suits you very well.
You have a need to escape from the demands of everyday life, and reach out to
something bigger, more exotic, more exciting. Traveling is good for you. You may
also daydream, fantasize, or philosophize a great deal.

Chapter 8: Areas That Challenge You Or Are Difficult For You
You have a critical, cynical attitude towards many religions and philosophies.
Without realizing it, you prevent yourself from appreciating new viewpoints and
attitudes. You are more rigid and dogmatic than you realize. Your approach may
also be too intellectual or moralistic. You take your own political beliefs and
spiritual philosophy very seriously, worrying and fretting if you are not 100%
clear about some ideology or theory.
You are generally not a "joiner" and do not feel comfortable in clubs,
organizations or other groups of people that are centered around some common
ideal or interest. If you do participate in a group, you may find the rules and
procedures restrictive - or you may simply feel that you do not fit in with the
others.
Being alone or with older, more experienced people suits you better than being
with groups of your own peers.
Quite reserved and somewhat inhibited in associating with others, you may feel
that you are better off by yourself. You feel that you don't fit in very well
with people and find team-work in groups or associations difficult to achieve.
Now we will discuss patterns of behavior which you instinctively and habitually
revert to when under stress - a mostly unconscious process and one which you are
apt to overdo because it is so familiar and thus easy for you. The direction you
need to follow in order to develop balance, greater awareness, and wholeness is
also described.
You gain by becoming more aware of the rhythm of the seasons and the natural
world, learning to slow down and allow life to unfold in its own time. Nurturing
a garden, a child, or some other living, growing thing gives you a sense of
inner balance.
You have a tendency to be deeply suspicious, to not take anything at face value,
to see hidden agendas and dark motives even where none exist! Life does not have
to be conflict all the time... learn to accept things as they are.
You also need to develop patience, peace and stability by grounding yourself in
your daily work and acting in a consistent and reliable way towards others.
The arena you are most likely to wrestle with these issues is in the way you
think, process information, and communicate. In your interactions with
neighbors, colleagues, and acquaintances, try to bring out the qualities
described above.
The following are specific activities that will support you in your growth.
These may or may not feel natural to you, and often there is some feeling of
resistance or initial awkwardness about doing these things, but they are
important on your path to wholeness.
Develop faith and confidence both in yourself and in a higher power which can
guide, nourish, and help you. Expand your willingness to dream and envision
better things in life. Study religion, philosophy, and other subjects that
enable you to see a larger, more inclusive view of yourself and the world.
Be generous with your time, energy and resources in helping others achieve a
better life, and this in turn will benefit you.
You should use extra care in your relations with people, for you could easily
end up in the wrong crowd. You could be the victim of fraud and falsehood or
through association may become an accessory to malicious action.

Chapter 9: Originality and Imagination
Areas Where You Are Creative, Unique, Unstable, or Compulsive
You have a reckless, impulsive, or very unconventional attitude toward money,
material things, and ownership. Above all, you do not want to be possessed by
your possessions. The obligations of owning things are likely to feel oppressive
to you.
Also, you may make your money in a field that is unconventional, highly
unstable, or very inventive and innovative. Your fortunes are likely to
fluctuate widely throughout your life.
You often have very naive, idealistic, or overly romantic attitudes toward
people, and it's difficult for you to see others realistically. You may prefer
to keep your relationships on an idealistic or platonic level, so that you don't
have to deal with the more prosaic, earthy, human aspects of relating.
Thoroughly investigate potential marriage or business partners, as your
gullibility and desire to see only the best in people may blind you to the truth
about others with whom you form a close alliance.
You have very strong creative forces and whatever you do, you want to do to the
fullest. In love and romance, you get totally, passionately, even obsessively
involved. In other forms of creative release and self-expression, also, you are
very driven and you have a deep need to prove yourself. Your desire for personal
recognition is compelling, and if you do not achieve creative success, you may
try to force your children to fulfill your dreams for you.
You have a strong desire to establish yourself and to be accepted by the world
around you. However, if others choose not to accept and follow you, you are
likely to go on your way doing your own thing anyway.
Although you long to be with other people, you may find it hard to adapt
yourself and could have a difficult time maintaining contacts and relations with
them. Some of your dealings with others could be a bit unrealistic or
impractical.
You are extremely sensitive and inclined to compensate for your weaknesses
through an accentuated vigorous appearance. Your upbringing may have lacked
proper guidance; laissez faire on one hand, and too strict and over demanding on
the other.

Chapter 10: Generational Influences: Your Age Group
In this chapter we will discuss characteristics and traits of your generation.
Of course, you may not share all of the characteristics of your generation, but
you are greatly affected by the tone that is set by your generation.
The first topic is "The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group". In
this section we will describe a deeply felt urge, even compulsion, of your age
group. This deeply felt drive comes to the surface with great force and power,
and consequently leaves in its wake considerable upheaval and change. The second
topic is "The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group", that describes the
dreams, fantasies, and spiritual aspirations of your age group. The third and
last topic is "What is New and Different in Your Age Group", which describes
areas in which your age group tends to be innovative, inventive, unusual, and
also where it may be unstable and unreliable.
The characteristics described below may affect a group of people for anywhere
from a few years to about 30 years. There are one or more different astrological
factors described in each of the three sections below.
The Subconscious and Emotional Drive of Your Age Group
You are part of a 25 year group of people who have strong feelings for home and
country. You are a sentimental group, and feel deeply attached to your family
and your country. You cling to the familiar, are distrustful and fearful of
different cultures, and consequently a great deal of racial and ethnic prejudice
is common among your age group.
Your need for closeness and togetherness runs very deep and causes you to bond
closely to family members and old friends, and also makes you prone to be
involved in mass movements and group activities because they feed your largely
subconscious need for acceptance and support by others. Unfortunately, your age
group is easily carried away by a group frenzy and many of you often lack the
integrity or courage to think and act in an independent and rational way.
Your generation is very emotional and tenderhearted. Many of your group
sacrificed a great deal to help your children or other family members, while
other generations are unwilling to give as much as you have. Your tender
feelings and regard for the well-being of others can spur your age group to make
contributions towards the feeding of the hungry, care for the neglected, and
support for the needy, particularly children and mothers. You are a group of
people with a strong heart and a helpful hand. Many of you have parents and/or
children who are not nearly as supportive and helpful; many of your
contributions are not completely appreciated or even go unnoticed.
The Ideals and Illusions of Your Age Group
You are part of a 14 year group of people that have a very vivid and colorful
imagination. A love of color, fashion, and drama is very strong. Your generation
gave tremendous impetus and growth to Hollywood movies and other spectacular
arts. Most people of your age group have many fantasies and naive, starry-eyed
ideas about movie stars and other idols. Needless to say, this tendency to
idolize someone can lead to big disappointments and those of you who married
early in life projected your fantasies on your spouse, and had to gradually face
the realities as you matured.
What is New and Different in Your Age Group
You are part of a 7 year group of people who are highly independent,
self-reliant, self-willed, and rebellious. You are a rowdy bunch and your
generation broke many time-honored traditions and customs. Your age group
pioneered many new ideas that remained fashionable for many years; for example,
rock 'n' roll was introduced by people of your age group.
