Introduction
The report that you are about to read is a first step in decoding the symbolic
language of your birth chart. It explains the raw materials that you have been
given for building a life. It outlines how the overall shape of your chart
reflects the overall shape of your personality, what your greatest challenges
are likely to be, the strengths you have been given to meet these challenges,
and the main arenas you are given for playing out your life’s drama.
In this report you may notice certain places where the information seems to be contradictory. This is to be expected, because people are complex. For example, in some situations we are shy and in others, aggressive. When you see repeated patterns, though, take special note: these are apt to be the dominant themes in your life.

The
Main Emphasis in Your Chart
The general distribution of planets around you at your birth is one of the
things that shows the overall shape of your personality. Before taking a
closer look at the details, let’s stand back for a moment to see whether
your chart contains any obvious emphasis in a sign, group of signs, or other
division of the horoscope wheel.
Most planets are
in the eastern half of the chart.
You prefer to be in charge of your own destiny, rather than following someone
else's dreams, adventures, projects or proposals. This tends to make you an
outgoing, active person, in charge of your affairs. Independent and outwardly
directed, you are conscious of the direction in which you lead your life. An
entrepreneurial pursuit of some type will find you at your best. You need
followers to help you, so be sure that you attract those who are willing to
follow your vision. Be clear, however, as to who is in charge. Joining forces
with someone as strong-minded as you may cause the kind of stress that will
distract you from your goals. Make all possible allowances for practicality;
and then go ahead and pursue your vision.
Most planets are
above the horizon.
You tend to identify who you are with what you have accomplished in the world.
This may make you highly competitive in establishing yourself within a
definable lifestyle or career. Your trophy case or the diplomas on your wall
may be a source of great personal satisfaction. It is important to balance
your need for outer-world-accomplishments with care for your inner self. Also,
take great care not to lose sight of the needs of your loved ones.
There are many
planets in Air signs.
With all those planets in signs such as Gemini, Libra or Aquarius, you
probably love to live in your intellect, and excel at organizing, planning,
and developing new techniques. Your strengths are logic, reason and
impartiality. Because of your ability to remain detached and objective, you
are a fair-minded judge of most situations. You can see and understand
interrelationships that those who are emotionally or practically oriented find
difficult to fathom. You could be a fighter for ideas and ideals, like a
statesman who lives simply, has few material needs, and is held in high regard
for his beliefs.
You like to connect people and ideas. Not being much interested in practical experience, you live in a world of concepts and use social interaction as your medium. Although you are a very social person, you prefer to remain detached. Emotional displays turn you off and you would rather negotiate. You may be in danger of being cold and emotionally insensitive to others. Understand that many do not operate in your rarefied atmosphere, and remember to be charitable if they lead mundane, unimaginative existences.
Unless you also have an emphasis in Earth signs or on such planets as Saturn and the Moon, your life may have a rootless quality. Although you may not notice it, others may be aware of a lack of stability in your material, external sense of being. To achieve balance, you may need consciously to stick to projects, put down roots, and cultivate your emotional life.
There are many
planets in Mutable signs.
Your chart’s strong emphasis in signs like Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and
Pisces makes you tend to be extremely flexible. When the situation demands
that you change in order to move forward, you can adapt and transform yourself
with ease. You are not necessarily the pioneering type, but if change must
happen, it is natural for you to glide along with the flow. At times, though,
you feel that you are at the mercy of forces beyond your control, and are
constantly being blown from pole to pole. This may make you feel nervous and
anxious, but like everything else in your life, this, too, will pass.
Aspects:
Keys to Your Inner Drama
In your birth chart, the Sun, Moon and planets play the central role. They are
the actors in the drama, the moving figures on the stage, each with a
character of its own. How these characters relate to each other, whether and
how they clash or harmonize, whether they bring out each other’s best or
worst qualities, is shown by the aspects, or angles, between the planets.
Is the ongoing drama between two planets a continuing tension that periodically erupts into crises (conjunctions, oppositions and squares), a harmonious alliance where the two planets aid and abet each other (trines and sextiles), an uneasy truce full of ambiguities (certain other aspects in neither of these families), or simply indifference (no aspect at all)? Below you will see which pairs of planets are in aspect in your chart.
Each of the following sections lists the aspects in order of their general importance, with aspects involving the Sun, Moon and fast-moving planets coming first. You can get a further idea of their importance in your particular chart by going to the aspect table at the beginning of this report and finding the five or so aspects with the smallest number of degrees and minutes in the “The orb is” column.
Your
Major Challenges
We start with your conjunctions, oppositions and squares because these tend to
point out the challenges that you have been set in life. Mose people
experience these aspects as problems, at least at first. Armed with awareness,
however, you can come to view these so-called “ hard” aspects as the
blessings that they really are. These are the forces that spur you forward.
When you face the challenges that these aspects pose, you grow in strength,
confidence, wisdom and maturity.
Sun conjunct
Venus
Others immediately notice your warm and friendly manner. You are the first to
go out of your way to make others feel comfortable and accepted. Blessed are
the peacemakers, and you are one. This is a great gift. Just be sure that you
do not always compromise your own needs, or others (who might not be as nice
as you are) may walk all over you.
Sun square Saturn
It seems that you are constantly attracted to situations that demand that you
assume more and more responsibility for yourself and others. While it may not
seem like much fun, you do have the ability to respond well to these
challenges and are indeed the best suited of those around you to be trusted
with these weighty and serious matters. Even though the responsibilities and
challenges seem never to end, carry on, because your patience and
steadfastness will be appreciated in the long run.
Sun opposite
Neptune
Conflict and its resulting tension terrifies you so much at times that you
will do almost anything to avoid being around it, even to the extent of
becoming physically ill. You are so sensitive to the pain that tension in
interpersonal relationships can cause (both to yourself and others) that you
tend not to act in your own best interests. This lets others (if they are so
inclined) walk all over you. It is important that you surround yourself with a
positive environment, a protected space with frequent reality checks, provided
either by another person or by a situation that you have set up. Then your
inherent creativity and idealism can flower, and not be turned into
deviousness and mistrust.
Moon conjunct
Jupiter
You tend to feel very good about yourself most of the time. Your optimism is
also projected onto those near you. You make others feel good about
themselves, which makes you a pleasant and popular person to be around. Your
warm, generous, confident and giving nature make you ideally suited to care
for the needs of others, either in a family situation or as a member of the
helping professions.
Moon square
Uranus
Whenever things seem to settle down and begin to go smoothly in a
relationship, something seems to happen that sends everything careening off
wildly in a new direction. This bothers you tremendously. It is as if you have
a built-in fear of getting too close to someone else, which may be so. You
usually regret your rash actions and sudden emotional outbursts, but only
after much damage has been done. Your rebelliousness has gradually earned you
the reputation of someone who cannot be counted on to provide emotional
support for your loved ones. Perhaps steady emotional support was denied to
you as a child. It will be difficult, but you must learn to trust yourself and
others in emotional situations.
Moon conjunct
North Node
Your extended family is very, very important to you. You tend to treat almost
everyone with whom you form any kind of non-casual relationship as if they
were members of your intimate family. You delight in taking care of others,
ministering to their needs, and generally making them feel comfortable. This
applies to religious, political and charitable organizations and to anyone in
your neighborhood. You’re comfortable working behind the scenes as long as
you know that you’re making an impact. But be careful not to neglect the
needs of those closest to you. They may tend to feel slighted if you spend a
great deal of time away from home.
Mercury square
Pluto
There is nothing you enjoy more than a good verbal tussle, especially one that
involves ideology, philosophy or religion. You have strong opinions on almost
every subject, and you are usually so caught up in propagating your views that
you will do anything to dominate your opponents and win the battle. As such,
you often meet strong resistance to your strong-arm, manipulative tactics. You
may find yourself fighting a lot harder than you should be. Even though you
are stimulated by all this excitement, things would probably go more smoothly
for you if you showed more tact and integrity.
Mercury conjunct
Midheaven
You have a sharp mind and are quite perceptive and objective. You have the
ability to analyze your career goals and objectives and enjoy doing so. For
you, thought must turn into action somehow, so be sure not to overanalyze
yourself or you will never be able to move ahead. An inveterate practical
joker, you enjoy playing head games with people and are known for your wit and
good humor. An ideal career would involve science, sales or communications.
Venus square Mars
When you are attracted to someone, you usually exhibit a warm, sensual and
caring attitude that makes you an ideal lover. But often you are easily
distracted, either just plain losing interest in the object of your desire for
a time or indulging in other amorous pursuits. This can lead to very stormy
relationships indeed. If you would desire a less strained love life, try
learning a little concentration and self-discipline.
Venus square
Saturn
As much as you yearn for love and affection, you tend to regard the
responsibilities of caring for someone else (and being cared for by him or
her) as so overwhelming that you often choose not to get involved at all. This
can make you seem very shy, cold and aloof. You respect maturity and wisdom
rather than emotional displays of affection, and might be more comfortable
relating to someone much older or younger than yourself. Try not to let your
lack of self-confidence drive you completely into a shell.
Venus opposite
Neptune
Your inability to see others as they truly are can be a real and continuing
problem for you in relationships. Your idealism and unselfishness can allow
you to be caught up in situations where you are constantly caring for someone
who may or may not merit your concern. Or the roles may be reversed, with you
letting someone be your protector or savior. Whether you are the victim or the
savior (or the martyr), make sure that you have consciously chosen and
accepted this role and that you are not merely letting people take advantage
of you. If you do not do this consciously, you may experience many
disillusionments in your life.
Mars conjunct
Saturn
At your best, you are cautious, careful, practical and sensible. You are
self-disciplined and patient (and usually intolerant of those who are not).
You have the ability to work in a concentrated, sustained manner toward a
fixed and worthy goal. At your worst, you find it difficult, if not
impossible, to properly express yourself. You get extremely frustrated when
the decisions you make cause you to run up against more obstacles than if you
had done nothing at all. This can lead to a defeatist attitude that can result
in your feeling bitter at your lot in life.
Mars square
Neptune
You find it difficult to concentrate on the here and now aspects of living in
the real world. You often experience very low energy levels and must be
careful of your health because you cannot easily fend off infections. Your
tendency to self-denial can allow you to fall prey to unscrupulous types who
play the “victim” in order to get a free ride from you, the “savior.”
Try to avoid the tendency to tell falsehoods (to yourself and others). At your
best, your heightened inner vision allows you to have access to transcendental
truths — try to share them with others.
Saturn square
Neptune
By nature you are withdrawn and introspective. This can be helpful to
self-understanding when you are in control of the process. But often your
deep-seated fears and anxieties seem to take control of your life and run it.
When this happens, professional counseling may help you discriminate between
what is real and concrete and what is imaginary and illusory, and can restore
your ability to function in the world. You must learn to trust that the world
can indeed support and assist you. Above all, avoid any mind altering
substances , because these will only mask your problems.
Uranus square
Nodes
You find it extremely difficult to form any sort of long-term relationship
(except maybe in the case of those with whom you’re most intimate — family
and loved ones, for example). But casual relationships don’t go well if you’re
not allowed perfect and total freedom of self-expression. Any deviation from
this causes you to become quarrelsome, irritable and restless in the extreme.
This can of course lead to misunderstandings and separations. If you try to
structure your life in such a way that you’re not committed to any set
routine in your daily doings, you’ll feel much more comfortable dealing with
people in social situations.
Chiron opposite
Uranus
Due to separation from a parent or lack of communication in your earliest
environment, you have difficulty in sharing and opening up to others.
Creative, independent and yet high-strung, you will be successful so long as
you develop patience and refrain from being provocative. Asserting a contrary
opinion or taking an unpopular stance for the sake of rebellion can be as
disruptive and destructive as it can be creative and productive. As life goes
on, you will get the knack of being spontaneous without provoking others.
Pluto conjunct
Ascendant
You are known to others as a charismatic, powerful person with the ability to
accomplish just about anything that you care to do. Others trust and respect
you because you understand their deepest needs. Indeed, you have an abiding
interest in human psychology — people (and their motivations) fascinate you.
Because you understand people so well, there will be a big temptation to use
this knowledge to your own advantage by manipulating others to accomplish your
desired ends. Be careful of this or you may find that the trust and respect
you enjoy will disappear and be replaced by suspicion and fear.
Your
Sustaining Strengths
Trines and sextiles tend to work with a natural harmony that calls for little
effort on your part. They show the things that you just seem naturally good
at. Usually they point to the more positive parts of your nature, and act as
support that you can call on in difficult times.
Because these aspects are so comfortable, they are not likely to push you to expand your limits or cause you to change. It is actually helpful to have a balance of hard aspects (like oppositions and squares) to stimulate you to grow, and soft aspects (trines and sextiles) to ease your passage and provide places to rest.
If you are blessed with a predominance of trines and sextiles, your life may tend to be placid and your nature serene. If so, remember that the world around you is probably sorely in need of these qualities that are yours to bestow.
Sun sextile Moon
You are known for the balanced and cheerful way you go through life. Probably,
your early upbringing took place in a relatively stress-free environment, with
both parental figures happy and secure in their roles. You now project this
same attitude in the way that you handle yourself. Just the thought that all
should go well is often enough to assure that it does. Your life works, and it
works smoothly.
Sun sextile North
Node
You delight in the society of your peers, especially if they are
decision-makers like you. As such, you’re probably a bit of a joiner. Clubs,
civic organizations, charitable groups and politics may occupy much of your
time and energy. You find that you can make a very real contribution to any of
these endeavors because you set realistic goals for yourself and the group.
You’re a good judge of character and can motivate others to do your (and the
group’s) will. Be careful, though, not to spend all of your time on civic
projects. You could neglect your family and loved ones, and they might resent
your activities.
Moon sextile
Venus
You are known and loved for your gentle, caring and compassionate nature. You
enjoy making others comfortable and go out of your way to make sure that the
environment is peaceful and calm. Your grace, charm and fair-mindedness allow
you to function in the role of pacifier and peacemaker. There is nothing that
delights you more than reconciling two seemingly incompatible combatants.
Mercury sextile
Mars
Self-assured and decisive, you have the ability to make up your own mind about
things and to defend your opinions with confidence and determination. You love
to argue and debate, usually in a good-natured way. But you can be a bit of a
motor-mouth, at times speaking so quickly and excitedly that people either
cannot understand you or cannot get a word in edgewise. When you become overly
aroused about something, remember to slow down.
Mercury sextile
Saturn
You are slow and careful of speech, and tend to be conservative in the way you
do things. You prefer to work in a methodical, precise manner, and find it
hard to tolerate others who are sloppy, clumsy or lacking in self-discipline.
You can be trusted to design a project well and carry it through to its final
result. You are not, however, comfortable in fluid situations that demand
rapid decisions that can radically alter the course of events.
Mercury trine
Uranus
An iconoclast, you are impatient with traditional ways of doing things. You
have the gift of perceiving new and different approaches to problems. Your
curiosity leads you to explore uncharted and highly technical areas of
knowledge, including subjects (like astrology) that most others regard as
bizarre and crazy. At times, your mind whirls so fast that your energies
become scattered and your efficiency drops radically. When you notice this
happening, stop and get some rest. Recognize when your battery has run down
too low.
Mercury sextile
Chiron
You enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and have a way of
understanding diverse points of view. You are drawn to fields such as
journalism, writing, and broadcasting. Whichever career you choose, you will
try to use your position as a platform to expound your own point of view. You
may also fight for unpopular causes. Try to be diplomatic so that you can keep
your job and communicate your strong opinions and beliefs in the most
effective way possible.
Venus trine Pluto
Giving and receiving affection is the way that you grow and evolve and feel
alive. You tend to become totally absorbed in the concerns of your partner, so
much so that at times it is difficult to separate the two of you as
individuals. If this depth of commitment is reciprocal, your relationship will
be transforming and positive. If the other person is not as involved as you
are, there is the danger that one of you will become jealous and possessive,
and that the relationship will ultimately become destructive.
Venus sextile
North Node
You have such an engaging and pleasing personality that others cannot help but
be attracted to you. As such, your popularity is assured — any career that
involves mixing with the public will be assisted by your truly caring and
obliging nature. You’re known to be a good and true friend and a loving
companion. You also have a refined aesthetic sensibility and may be quite
artistic, or at the very least will be attracted to those with artistic
inclinations.
Mars sextile
Uranus
You can be counted on to do the unexpected, especially if you think that
others would find it shocking or offbeat. At your best, your free-spirited,
rebellious attitude toward things brings a breath of fresh air to stale,
hackneyed situations. At your worst, your restlessness and daring can cause
clashes with authority figures (which you enjoy immensely).
Mars trine Chiron
Dynamic and enthusiastic, you are exciting to be around and are always willing
to try new things. At times, it is difficult for others to keep up with your
fast pace. Relationships could be threatened by your inability to compromise
or discuss a difference of opinion. If you cannot hold back your anger and
cannot problem- solve with complete honesty, you may need professional help in
order to curb your temper and learn communication skills.
Saturn sextile
Uranus
You have the rare gift to be able to be organized in the midst of difficult,
chaotic and tense situations. As a matter of fact, you seem to perform even
better when times are tough than you do when things are proceeding smoothly.
Your ability to blend innovation in a structured and disciplined manner makes
you an ideal teacher.
Saturn trine
Chiron
Distrustful of authority, you are bound for success once you begin to stand up
for your own beliefs. After allowing people to take advantage of you most of
your life, you’ll reach a point where you refuse to take it anymore. When
that time comes, you will make a marvelous teacher, administrator or leader
who can inspire others with structure, discipline and resolve.
Neptune sextile
Pluto
You, and society as a whole, are witnessing a gradual spiritual transformation
that affects everything that you encounter. A solid foundation for protecting
the rights of individuals (and especially the underprivileged) was being laid
in the era when you were born, so that those in the future will have an equal
opportunity to grow, evolve and gain greater understanding.
Neptune trine
North Node
You always think the best of people, sometimes to your own detriment. But
usually things work out well. Actions follow thoughts, and you have a certain
intuitive knack for bringing out the best in people and situations. You seem
to sense the highest possible need of the moment and can bring your best
energies and efforts to bear on the situation. The results are often exactly
as you intended. Idealistic groups and causes claim much of your time, and you
delight in giving of yourself without any thought of personal reward.
Pluto sextile
North Node
At some time in your life you will have far-flung interests that may even be
global in nature. Your contacts and connections will become very important to
you, and you’ll probably manage them quite well. You’ll have vast
resources at your disposal and, because you’re usually a high-minded and
civic-oriented person, you’ll use them in a way that will benefit not only
yourself, but many others as well. As such, you’ll probably become a widely
respected community or political leader, should you choose to become seriously
involved in a “public” sort of lifestyle. You have the ability and means
to influence the lives of many people.
Chiron sextile
Midheaven
Being recognized by your peers for professional achievements is one of the
driving forces of your life. To your credit, you learned the right formula for
balancing your private activities with your career. You are flexible and may
try different employment situations before finally finding the one that
appeals to you. It may take some time to find the most suitable path, but once
you do, you will forge ahead and make your mark on the world.
Rounding
Out the Picture
Two other families of so-called “minor” aspects add yet more information
about the way the planets relate to each other in your chart. Semisquares and
sesquares (also known as sesquiquadrates) share the dynamic, crisis-prone
nature of the square but need to be quite exact in order to be felt.
Semisextiles and quincunxes connect signs that are totally unrelated to each other. They can have an odd, unsettling quality, indicating problems or issues that it’s hard to get a grip on. They are like interesting puzzles that call for a creative solution.
Moon semisquare
Ascendant
You are usually known for being emotionally honest and direct with people. You
wear your heart on your sleeve and others always know where they stand with
you. At times, however, this can become a problem because you tend to make all
relationships respond to this emotional ebb and flow, sometimes making
excessive and unreasonable demands on those you love. Learn to ease off a bit
when you notice others trying to avoid you.
Moon semisquare
Midheaven
You tend to proceed toward your life goals only if there are emotional
considerations attached to them. You must feel that your sense of security and
peace of mind would be threatened if you do not motivate yourself to move
forward toward some sort of clearly realizable goal. As such, you tend to make
major life decisions that are not always rational and logical and that you
sometimes regret later on. But learn to trust your instincts as they are often
correct — the heart has its reasons, too.
Mercury
semisextile Venus
At your best, you can sense the way that everything relates to everything else
as a part of an organic whole. This usually enhances your ability to think
things through. At times, though, when you are forced to think logically,
rigorously and matter-of-factly, you become confused and dumbfounded. This is
because you need to see whole patterns in order to make sense of things. You
flounder when you cannot see the forest for the trees. Try stepping back a bit
in order to get a proper perspective. This placement also indicates a refined
aesthetic sensibility that allows you to appreciate art or even be an artist
yourself.
Mercury
semisquare Jupiter
Your exuberant and optimistic attitude toward life is usually sufficient to
allow you to accomplish whatever you set out to do. At times, though, you
seriously overestimate your capabilities and resources and cause yourself no
end of grief. Careful planning could solve many of the problems that this
sloppiness and overconfidence seem to bring about.
Mercury quincunx
Neptune
You have a strong need to communicate with others clearly and directly, but
your fascinating life of inner imaginings often causes you to get confused in
what you try to say. The result is that either you do not communicate at all,
or everything seems to get garbled and others begin to distrust you. Learn to
build up your self-confidence, because what you have to share with others is
valuable. You have the rare gift to be able to sense what is going on beneath
the surface of things. When you learn to trust it, your intuition can become
highly developed.
Venus quincunx
Uranus
You have ambiguous feelings about relationships and this annoys you terribly.
On the one hand, you want to love and be loved and be considered reliable and
trustworthy. But, on the other hand, you fear getting too close to another and
making a permanent emotional commitment therefore you do things that get you
deservedly branded as undependable and unreliable — things like having
extracurricular affairs, for example. It will be very difficult for you to
reconcile these two quite contrary parts of your nature. First, you must
recognize that they are real and, second, you must make sure that your lovers
understand your needs. Then you can try to accommodate them both. Relationship
commitments must be kept as open and unstructured as possible.
Mars semisextile
Pluto
You have a very strong will and usually nothing stands in the way of what you
want to do. But, more often than you would like, there are very strong forces
of resistance arrayed against you — it seems like everyone is out to get
you. The reason for this is that you are quite often out of touch with the
fact that the tactics you use to get ahead in the world are often manipulative
and underhanded, if not downright brutal. Of course, strong resistance will
appear to combat such a way of doing things. The way out should be obvious —
try to be more reasonable, tactful and diplomatic. Consciously try to make
friends as you move toward your goal — they will help shield you from those
that you accidentally offend.
Jupiter
semisquare Pluto
Once you have formulated your plans for future growth and development, you
have the ability to marshal an incredible arsenal of resources in order to
bring about your goals. You combine enormous will power, drive and charisma
and others offer you assistance because you cut so impressive a figure. But be
careful to keep everything on the up and up — don’t get too cocky or pushy
or self-confident or you may experience delays if you accidentally offend
anyone along the way.
Saturn
semisextile Pluto
You tend to think that all of life is hard and difficult and that you can only
make your way by overcoming overwhelming odds. Everything that you do seems to
be an uphill battle and, if you continue to accept this as an inevitability,
your thoughts will assure that it will indeed continue as a never-ending
pattern for you. The only way to work around this tendency is to realize that
it is self-created. You must accept that things can be better and will be
better, only more gradually for you than for most others. At your best, you
have the toughness to weather any storm.
Uranus
semisextile Neptune
You, and your peer group, tend to have ambiguous feelings about your ideals
and the way in which you want to work them out. You feel that you have a
feasible and far-sighted plan for future growth, but your inability to
properly organize your way of proceeding causes it to founder. You then become
disillusioned and disheartened with yourselves and retreat from any further
involvement. The best way to handle this would be to let others more organized
than yourselves do the planning and then follow their lead. This will force
you to take a back seat, but at least something positive may result.
Houses:
Bringing the Planets Down to Earth
The positions of the planets in the zodiac, and the aspects between the
planets, are nearly the same for everyone born on a given day. But the houses
reflect how the planets were arranged around you and you alone, at a given
hour and minute, and at a given place on Earth. Houses therefore personalize
the planets, showing how they relate to your own particular life.
The meanings of the twelve houses echo those of the twelve zodiacal signs, but are more specific and concrete. For example, the second sign, Taurus, is much concerned with the material world, whereas the second house deals with your actual possessions: how you feel about them, and how you acquire them.
The house delineations that follow show how the affairs of each house are flavored by the sign that lies on its cusp. Since houses are sometimes larger than signs, a house may also have one or more signs completely enclosed or “intercepted” within it, in which case you will find additional material about the intercepted signs in a house. Most important, you will learn below in what areas of life the planets — the main actors in your drama — are disposed to be most active, and how the way each planet operates is influenced by both its house and its sign.
House
1: Your Interface with the World
The first house focuses on the basic equipment that you have been given for
interacting with the world: your body and your physical constitution, your
face, your appearance, your personality, mannerisms and the way you present
yourself. It may not be how you see yourself, but it is how others tend to
perceive you, and you should be aware that it has an important effect on how
you are accepted in social situations. Planets in the first house tend to be
strong and “out-front,” especially when they are close to (that is,
conjunct) your Ascendant.
Libra on the
First
Attractive and popular, you have a charm that helps you to get your own way
and prevents others from getting angry with you. “Peace and harmony at all
costs” is your battle cry. You like to ameliorate or to cosmetically hide
any physical ugliness or any angry feelings between people. You prefer to
dress elegantly, and pride yourself on your taste. In your attempt to be
agreeable at all times, beware of the tendency to compromise yourself. You
tend to be a bit of a social butterfly, and at times can be vain and lazy. For
the most part, however, you are gracious and affectionate, and your refined
and aristocratic demeanor serves as model to others.
Pluto in the
First
You have a personality that is known for its intensity — you tend to take
life very seriously. When you have focused on a goal (or an object or a
person), you pursue it with such total commitment and all- encompassing
dedication that you make others who are less committed than you uneasy (and
even fearful). You love to push things to their limit — you are happy when
living at the cutting edge of life. You are a powerful and charismatic person
and you may have to be careful not to abuse the power that you do have.
Pluto in Libra
Your entire generation was born at a time of radical changes in society’s
attitude toward marriage and interpersonal relationships. Because of a general
fear and awe at the power inherent in making emotional or contractual
commitments, such bonds are not made lightly. The result in the twentieth
century was a decline in the prevalence of marriage, an increase informal
living arrangements, and an intense focus on revitalizing relationships.
House
2: What You Own and Value
The second house goes a step outward from your own person and has to do with
resources that you possess, including money. It shows your attitude toward
what you own or would like to own: what you crave and covet, what you most
value, how you go about getting it, how you take care of it, and whether or
not you hang on to it. By extension, it can also indicate your sense of
values: not just material things but also the attitudes and ideas that you
hold dear.
Scorpio on the
Second
You are emotionally involved with your own personal resources — so much so
that you rarely, if ever, share what you have with others. You tend to think
that, if you give of what you have, you yourself will become personally
diminished. This unreasonable fear of loss makes you very withdrawn and
secretive and, at times, quite miserly. You regard your resources as tools to
push life to its uttermost limits. You enjoy making investments and are
willing to take risks, and you are devastated when things do not work out as
planned. But you are a careful planner — your nest egg should grow over
time.
Uranus in the
Second
You dislike the responsibility that comes with owning property or having
possessions. Your demand that you live a free and unencumbered lifestyle just
does not allow you the luxury of settling in anywhere and acquiring things.
The possessions that you do have and cherish will probably be quite offbeat
and unusual. Money always seems to be an issue with you — when you have it,
you tend to spend it impulsively, and when you do not have it, you don’t
have the self-discipline required to dig in and let it accumulate. A
traditional nine-to-five working situation will not appeal to you — you need
to earn your money in some sort of unique, bohemian fashion.
Uranus in Scorpio
You, and your peer group, demand to confront life at its deepest and most
meaningful levels. Very compulsive and obsessive in your approach to
everything, you will avoid anything that is casual or superficial, especially
when it comes to relationships. You will seek out and explore new methods of
healing as well as different ways to deal with deep-seated emotional problems.
House
3: Your Immediate Surroundings
Going a step further out from your own body and possessions, the third house
has to do with your immediate surroundings and how you interact with them. The
first “social” house, it describes brothers and sisters, neighbors and
anyone who just happens to be near you on a daily basis. It also describes
daily communication and transportation: letters, phone calls and emails, and
routine journeys such as commuting to shopping, school or work. The first “mental”
house, it governs early education and basic skills training, paving the way
for higher education in the ninth house which is directly opposite it in the
chart.
Sagittarius on
the Third
You are known for your wide-ranging mental interests. You need constant mental
stimulation in order to feel vibrant and alive. You are an eager student and a
willing teacher of what you know. You are at your best when those who need
your knowledge are allowed to come to you for advice and assistance — and
you freely give it. However, you are not known for having a great deal of
self-discipline in your studies and, although you usually understand the
overall picture, the small but significant details of a subject often elude
you. You are not overly sentimental about your home life — you need a place
to check into once in a while in order to rest up. But, because you tend to be
so very restless, you are soon on the go again.
Neptune in the
Third
Your rich and vivid imagination can be used creatively in writing or speaking
if you are so inclined. You are so trusting in the power of your inner visions
that at times you confuse the truth with what you want to believe. Be careful
not to embroider or distort the truth to fit your own needs. You are so
idealistic, and you accept so many things on faith, especially if the ideas
are packaged in such a way that they appeal to your imagination, that you are
often easily conned by others who are less scrupulous than you are. So be
careful when taking advice from others — always get a second or third
opinion before taking any action.
Neptune in
Sagittarius
You, and your entire generation, are heavily involved in investigating and
idealizing foreign and exotic intellectual systems and religious philosophies.
The most extreme ideals will be pursued with gusto. You will be at the
forefront of humanitarian attempts to improve the lot of those who are in need
of assistance. You will be comfortable with the concept of the “global
village.”
House
4: Where You Come From
Being at the very bottom of the wheel, the fourth house is both where you
originate and where you come to rest. As such, it describes your parents and
ancestral background, and later the home or protected space into which you
retreat each day for nourishment and sleep. A deeply personal house, the
fourth is concerned with security and peace of mind, the safety of loved ones,
and how you care for others and yourself. The place of your roots and the
earth beneath your feet, the fourth house rules the house or apartment where
you live and also real estate in general. In your trajectory through life, the
fourth house shows your origins and where you are coming from, just as the
tenth house and Midheaven describe your career and where you aim to go.
Capricorn on the
Fourth
You prefer a structured and regimented home life — everything in your home
must have a purpose and must be “in its place.” You regard disorganization
or clutter as a personal failure and if there is anything you hate or fear it
is to have others think that you made a mistake. You have very specific goals
for your family and family members and are devastated when they are not met or
are deviated from in any way. You are at your best when maintenance of your
home is efficient and carefree — this lets you concentrate on whatever else
you need pay attention to in order to get you where you think you should be
going.
No planets in the
Fourth
You have no planets in the fourth house. This means that home and family are
not likely to be major issues for you, or demand much time and energy on your
part. For further information on how you handle the issues of security and
peace of mind, look to the house and aspects of your Moon.
House
5: Playtime
After being nurtured and restored in the fourth house, you are refreshed and
full of energy for play and creative pursuits. Replenished by dreams, you have
creative ideas. Nurtured by your parents, you are ready to have your own
children. Fresh from the security of home, you are ready to trust the universe
and take risks. For all these reasons, the fifth house traditionally rules the
child in you and the children around you, your own personal creativity and
self-expression, plays and amusements of all sorts, gambling and speculation,
and courtship, love affairs and romance. This is an outgoing house, but it is
still beneath the horizon, in the territory of your heart’s desires.
Aquarius on the
Fifth
When it comes to speculation, you have a detached and objective point of view
which can be very helpful — you will avoid the trap of impulsiveness or of
making decisions with your heart rather than with your head. But this is
disadvantageous when it comes to romance because you are inclined to be turned
off by overly emotional reactions on the part of your lover. Also, at times
when spontaneity would be desired, you are at a loss. You prefer relationships
that have a common intellectual base and tend to be less critical of the other
person's quirks and oddities as long as you both think alike. You are very
concerned about the welfare of your children and will push them to develop
their mental skills, but you would rather not get too close to them
emotionally.
No planets in the
Fifth
The fifth house of your horoscope contains no planets. This does not mean that
you are any less self- expressive or creative or fun-loving than the next
person. It just means that your overall character is balanced to the extent
that these issues are not usually paramount for you.
House
6: Taking Care of Business
After the candle-lit dinner comes the credit-card bill. Courtship is followed
by the nitty-gritty of married life: babies, diapers and saving up for
college. After your creative impulse comes the need to learn the technique of
actually making something. And if you overexpend your energy, you get health
problems. The sixth house rules taking care of business on an everyday level.
This includes your job, paying bills and keeping the house clean. It also
includes maintaining your body with medical checkups and a daily regimen of
nutrition and exercise. In the old books it ruled servants, and it can by
extension rule the way you offer service to others. It also ruled useful
animals, particularly small ones like cats, dogs, chickens and pigs. Today
this usually means small pets, which exist in the personal, intimate part of
your life that is signified by houses that lie below the horizon.
Pisces on the
Sixth
When you are at your best, you are self-sacrificial and giving at the work
place. You try to ease the burden of those around you by doing tasks they
disdain — make sure that others are not merely taking advantage of your
better nature. When you are at your worst, you fear involvement with others
and try to shrink from any responsibilities whatsoever. Health problems occur
most often at those times when you are feeling weak and vulnerable and some
symptoms can be quite difficult to diagnose. Try to work in a positive
environment because you tend to soak up the energies of those around you —
negative people drain you and make you dull and listless.
No planets in the
Sixth
Your sixth house is not activated by planetary activity. Health and
work-related issues are not usually paramount concerns for you. Of course,
outside influences can temporarily upset this balance, causing you to devote
more time and energy to these parts of your life, at least on a temporary
basis.
House
7: Relating One-to-One
If you courted in the fifth house and woke up in the sixth yoked to another in
a daily routine, the seventh house gives you a chance to hammer out a
relationship of true equals. The goal is wedded bliss and a true sense of
relatedness, but along the way there may be fights as you each define your
individuality and establish your own territory. Not only is the seventh the
traditional house of marriage, it is also the house of open enemies, your
sparring partners in life. In general, since the first house is you yourself,
the seventh house, directly opposite, is the other person in a variety of
situations. Besides signifying a marriage or sparring partner, the seventh
house rules business partners, or those on the other side of a desk, such as
consultants, lawyers, therapists or astrologers.
Aries on the
Seventh
You have an aggressive attitude toward relationships. You need others in order
to feel complete, but you always want to maintain the upper hand — to be in
charge. You exult in the give-and-take of relating because you learn so much
about human motivations and character from your partner. But you tend to be so
uptight when you think your rights are being threatened that you often
aggravate your partner and this brings the two of you further and further
apart. This also causes you to fight equally as hard to maintain the
relationship — you are afraid to face the world alone. Thus, relationships,
whether of a business or personal nature, can be quite stormy and tempestuous,
but you would really not have it any other way.
No planets in the
Seventh
You have no planets in the seventh house of your horoscope. This does not mean
that you will never have any relationships or that you will never get married.
What it does indicate is that you will not find your life overly dominated by
working out problems associated with relationships. You will experience more
or less activity in these areas occasionally, along with everyone else.
House
8: Giving It All Away
Having achieved a relationship of equals in the seventh house, you are ready
to give up your separateness in the eighth, merging in sexual union and
becoming one on a deep emotional level. If the second house was about grasping
and possessing, the eighth is about sharing and letting go. While the second
rules your own money, the eighth rules how you deal with other people’s
money and how you pool resources. On a mundane level the eighth rules taxes,
but on a fundamental level it can rule giving up anything you value, including
your ego and even your body. In relaxing your grasp on what you find most
dear, you may find that you are really not as dependent on it as you thought.
In relinquishing, you achieve a new level of freedom, and feel lighter,
renewed and more alive. Related to all this, the eighth signifies mysteries
such as death and resurrection, magic and the occult, and the deep parts of
the psyche that are beyond our conscious grasp.
Taurus on the
Eighth
You have a cautious and conservative approach to investing your resources or
the resources of others. You would rather wait and build up your kitty so that
you can buy the blue chips with a guaranteed rate of return instead of taking
a flyer on some unknown or risky commodity. This is not to say that you do not
have huge appetites, though — you are very, very acquisitive. The same
applies to your attitude toward sex. You are very loyal to your partner, and
very sensual — you demand that your partner pay you a great deal of
attention. Your cautious and careful attitude can usually forestall the many
financial and personal crises that others seem to have to go through.
Chiron in the
Eighth
Therapy may help you deal with questions and fears surrounding sex and death.
At times your emotions are uncontrollable and can run rampant. You risk being
overtaken by love, jealousy, greed, and fear of losing control. Talking about
positive and negative emotions will help keep you on an even keel. You can be
an excellent therapist and counselor because you easily empathize with the
plight of others. Intoxicated by the game of high finances, you have financial
instincts that are better utilized through sensible investing than through
impulsive risk-taking.
Chiron in Taurus
Fear of poverty motivates your desire to work hard and make money, often to
the exclusion of meaningful relationships. Beneath your impeccable appearance
and sexual magnetism lies an insecure child seeking approval from peers and
loved ones. Tolerant, generous and infinitely patient, you have earned the
reputation for being the one upon whom others can rely. Once you begin to feel
good about yourself, you won’t feel guilty about all the material things
your money can buy. You are sensual and affectionate but require a great deal
of tenderness and attention in return.
House
9: Expanding Your Awareness
Approaching the highest point in the sky, the ninth house wafts you up and out
of your rut, giving you a broad and lofty view of the terrain beneath. Whereas
the third ruled basic schooling and short trips, the ninth rules higher
education and long-distance travel. It removes you from your everyday routine
so you can see the overall pattern, the overlooked connections between things.
It rules all-embracing concepts (such as your philosophy of life) and
institutions (like religion and law) that stand over society and keep it bound
together. It can also signify your teachers and mentors, your library, and all
else that broadens your outlook.
Gemini on the
Ninth
You have the approach of a dilettante when it comes to forming your life
philosophy. You are fascinated by so many different ideas and concepts that
you find it difficult to choose any one given philosophy as your standard. You
do manage, however, to become quite learned in many different areas because of
your insatiable curiosity. You have the ability to remain detached and
objective enough to sort out competing claims and explain their differences to
others. This makes you a good candidate for the teaching professions. You are
an avid reader and your innate restlessness probably attracts you to traveling
around quite a bit.
Sun in the Ninth
By nature, you are inquisitive and restless. You enjoy asking questions about
broad and far-reaching subjects such as law, religion and philosophy. A good
scholar, you love to read widely and you may also travel widely in order to
satisfy your insatiable curiosity. Generally optimistic, you tend to be quite
tolerant of the faults of others. You hate the stultification of outworn
habits, preferring to act immediately on your many enthusiasms..
Sun in Gemini
You have a quick, bright and agile mind, but an extremely short attention
span. You love the external, kaleidoscopic aspects of life, but you tend to
avoid (and even fear) deep, close emotional involvements. As such, you seem to
enjoy travel and sightseeing and generally being “on-the-go.” You get
quite listless when things around you become static and dull, but your
excitement returns whenever you are stimulated by a new idea. Chatty,
inquisitive and quite playful, you enjoy practical jokes and games in general.
Your moods change quickly and often — you are very restless and constantly
in motion. You are known for your versatility and adaptability. Your
vivaciousness enlivens any social gathering.
Venus in the
Ninth
Any activity that allows you to expand your consciousness will be attractive
for you. You have a deep and abiding interest in art, literature and poetry,
especially those art forms that might be considered unusual or exotic. Your
life’s philosophy depends more on your refined aesthetic sense and your need
for harmony and beauty than it does on reason or logic. You will tend to
choose the path of least resistance if given the opportunity to choose.
Venus in Gemini
You are friendly, warm, open and tolerant toward others. You love variety in
relationships, indeed you may even prefer to maintain more than one
relationship at a time. Very witty and humorous, you have the ability to amuse
and please others. This makes you quite popular. You love to play the field
and thus find it difficult to settle down and make any deep emotional
commitments. Your innate charm and vivacity makes you welcome most everywhere
you go.
House
10: Your Public Self
If the fourth house showed your roots and where you came from, the tenth shows
what you are ultimately aiming at in life. Whereas the sixth shows your daily
job and how you make a living, the tenth signifies your career, your personal
contribution, your reputation and what you become known for. Some astrologers
also believe that the fourth house signifies one parent, and the tenth
signifies the other. The tenth-house parent is most likely the one who
prepares you for the world. The closer a planet is to the Midheaven, the more
likely that planet is to be the major significator of your life’s direction.
Cancer on the
Tenth
You have the unique ability to strive with great energy and initiative to
reach the top of your chosen field and, at the same time, not make anyone feel
bitter about how you got there. Your strong sense of compassion and sympathy
and true caring about the needs of others makes you respected and loved by
your colleagues and those you supervise. Very sensitive to the moods and
feelings of others, you pick up “vibes” quickly and can turn them to your
advantage. But avoid becoming too overly protective and smothering of those in
your care — or they will resist all your best intentions.
Mercury in the
Tenth
Your career will involve the use of your mind or perhaps the development of
some skill that demands great hand-eye coordination. Advanced training and
education will be important to you, not only because you have the aptitude for
it, but also because you can apply the things you learn in practical and
concrete ways. You are very good at expressing yourself through speech or
writing, and may well be attracted to a career in teaching, travel or
communications.
Mercury in Cancer
You have an excellent memory, especially about things to which you have formed
an emotional bond. The beliefs and traditions of your family and culture are
very important to you. You prefer ideas that are known and familiar, and
therefore tend to dislike fads or radical ideas. Your emotions tend to rule
your thought processes, making it difficult to see life objectively.
Especially when you are emotionally shaken, your thinking becomes unclear.
Therefore, try not to make major decisions when you are upset.
House
11: Your Circle of Acquaintances
The eleventh is the last house of relationships: not brothers, sisters and
neighbors who just happen to be around you, not one-to-one partners, but the
circle of friends and associates whom you actively choose. It shows the way
you make and keep friendships, the organizations you join, the networking you
do, and the general way you interact with groups. After you have established
yourself as an individual and learned to form personal relationships with
others, you are ready to think about the common good. This is why the eleventh
often signifies groups dedicated to social or other sorts of collective
improvement.
Leo on the
Eleventh
You take great pride in your friendships and associations. Because it takes a
major creative effort to attempt to work out group rather than personal goals,
you gladly donate your time, money and prestige to worthy charitable and
community projects. You are attracted to associations with those who can
advance your own power, prestige and influence. You usually give back as well
as you get, but just make sure that you are not merely trying to toady to
others who you may think are better than you. Also, beware of a tendency to be
arrogant and supercilious of those you consider your inferiors — it does not
become you.
Moon in the
Eleventh
You need friends and associates who are emotionally supportive of you. You
will tend to maintain contact with important friends from your earliest years.
Also, you enjoy functioning in groups where you can play the den mother type
of role, working selflessly to support and encourage the activities of others,
especially the young or misfortunate. You tend to be moody and that can raise
havoc with friendships — be careful. Also watch out for the tendency to let
beliefs and prejudices accepted as a child rule your life as an adult. Learn
to weigh opinions with logic and reason.
Moon in Leo
You always want to be proud of yourself and will never do anything that will
make yourself look bad. You need the respect and admiration of others and
enjoy attracting attention to yourself. Everything you do tends to be
self-emphasized and self-exaggerated. Very stubborn, willful and independent
yourself, be sure to allow others who are close to you the similar right to
“be themselves.” Your need for love, affection and reassurance, and your
tendency toward vanity, allow you to have your head easily turned by flattery.
The more insecure you are, the more you tend to be a showoff. You love games
and sports as a matter of fact, you would usually rather play than work. Be
careful of a tendency to be snobbish and uppity — it does not become you.
Jupiter in the
Eleventh
Very gregarious, you like being with others and enjoy nothing better than
having a good time. You may find that those you attract are socially prominent
or that they bring material advantage to you. If so, it is because they are
attracted by the generous, noble, openhearted attitude that you display. You
enjoy sharing whatever you have (and it might well be a great deal) with
others who share similar humanitarian interests.
Jupiter in Virgo
You feel most expansive and at ease with yourself when you are doing something
that you consider to be practical or useful. You enjoy being dutiful and
carrying out responsibilities. You gladly take on the little tasks that others
seem to want to avoid. At times, you carry things to extremes and feel guilty
anytime you do something that you consider to be self-indulgent. While it is
appropriate for you to demand little for yourself in life, try to loosen up
once in a while — go out on a fling and enjoy yourself.
North Node in the
Eleventh
You’re at your best when meeting others, especially those who are outside
your immediate family environment. You prefer the social whirl — meeting new
and interesting people stimulates your imagination and makes you feel alive.
However, you’re usually not a casual joiner — you like to dig right in and
be of assistance in helping the group meet its goals. You have many friends
and acquaintances, and it takes some doing just trying to fit them all in to
your busy social schedule.
North Node in Leo
When it comes to dealing with others, you prefer to take the leadership role,
and you enjoy administering and organizing group activities. Others tend to
listen to your suggestions because you tend not to be domineering or
patronizing. You love to entertain in a big way, and are at your best when
throwing a large and lavish party. Your popularity and social success are
assured as long as you don’t take others for granted Do resist any
temptation to become snobbish and arrogant.
House
12: The Hidden You
The twelfth house is where planets go just after they have risen. Here planets
are still wet behind the ears, blinking in the sunlight and unsteady on their
feet. Feeling completely vulnerable, planets in the twelfth tend to hide.
Their energies can become repressed and secretive, and sometimes they lurk as
complexes in the subconscious. This is why the twelfth is associated with
self-sabotage, with hidden enemies, and with prison and whatever else makes
you feel confined. The traditional association with hospitals and prisons
suggest that constructive ways of dealing with twelfth-house problems include
helping others who are similarly repressed or confined. Also, some with a
strong twelfth-house emphasis become successful as undercover workers or as
the power behind the throne.
Virgo on the
Twelfth
Beneath your usually placid surface, you are often troubled by petty
annoyances and anxieties. As a matter of fact, you devote much time and energy
to seemingly being in total control of your life simply because you are afraid
of what might happen should things get out of hand. This, of course, can be
quite confusing to you until you learn to deal with this problem with the
objectivity that you are known for. Do not be afraid to order and discipline
your life in such a way that you can assuage these hidden fears of inadequacy.
You should be especially aware that if you ignore these psychological issues,
they may surface as physical health problems that will be difficult to
diagnose.
Mars in the
Twelfth
You have strong feelings and are probably naturally assertive, but a
continuing defeatist attitude, which probably stems from some unfortunate
early childhood experience, bogs you down. You flee from conflicts and always
seem to be tired, listless and irritable. It is important that others in your
environment give you support and encouragement in order for you to build up
your self-confidence. You tend to prefer doing things indirectly, behind the
scenes or even in secret. You have the ability (and probably the need) to work
effectively on your own.
Mars in Virgo
Very careful and systematic, you pay great attention to details. You seek
perfection and sometimes get bogged down searching for the ultimate when
adequacy would have been sufficient. You dislike abstractions, preferring
whatever is practical, useful and demonstrable. You have a strong and enduring
sense of personal responsibility, and you demand that others be as responsible
and upright as you are. Very critical of yourself and others, sometimes you
carry this too far and become intolerant of others and their right to choose
their own lifestyles.
Saturn in the
Twelfth
You have a feeling that your personal world is not and never will be stable.
Also, you feel that you can never impose the sense of order and discipline on
your surroundings that you think you need in order to be at peace with
yourself. This can lead to deep-seated feelings of inferiority and
accompanying bouts of depression. These unreasonable fears probably stem from
some unfortunate occurrence early on in your life. It is important for you to
realize that the reason for these fears is long since past and that they are
no longer relevant to your present life. Be patient and things will more than
likely look better for you the older (and wiser) you get.
Saturn in Virgo
Your life must be orderly and practical and full of known and familiar
routines in order for you to feel comfortable with yourself. Be careful,
however, not to let “order” become the be-all and end-all of your life, or
you may become cold, crass and unfeeling. Doing useful, practical things
boosts your self-esteem. Abstract concepts and reasoning seem frivolous and a
waste of time to you. You are very critical of yourself (and others), indeed
at times quite self-deprecating. Try to relax a bit and allow yourself the
freedom to fail once in a while. However, you probably won’t fail very often
because you are such a perfectionist.
A
Mirror of Your Uniqueness
This report is based on the position of the Sun, Moon and planets at the
moment of your birth, as seen from the point on Earth where you were born.
Such an arrangement of planets and stars will never be repeated in exactly the
same form. Like the genes that determine your body and temperament, your
astrological chart is made up of the same basic parts that other humans have,
but the arrangement of these parts is uniquely your own.
You could think of your birth moment as a seed that contains the potential for how you will unfold. The arrangement of the planets at your birth does not, however, cause your body structure and temperament in the way that the patterning of your DNA causes it. Instead, the planetary positions at your birth employ the language of symbols to mirror who you are. Like a mirror, your chart enables you to see yourself from outside yourself, and it therefore extends your point of view.
To use a different analogy, your chart shows the deck you’ve been dealt, the raw materials you are given from which to fashion a life. Nobody’s perfect: we are all given our special problems to solve and our special strengths and beauties. In knowing what you have to work with, you will be better able to make use of your gifts, fill in (or at least be comfortable about) what you lack, and grow in the life directions that are right for you and you alone.
Instead of assuming that there is one norm for everyone, astrology attempts to show the special pattern that is right for you. In doing so, it can give you clues as to how you can more fully and consciously fill the unique role that you have been given in this lifetime, and enrich the world with the gifts that only you can bestow.
