Previous Newsmaker: Winter Solstice 2007
Take a look at what our readers had to say about the Winter Solstice 2007 chart:
- When the Ascendant is in Libra, we have a reversal of the zodiacal order: that is,
Libra, the 7th sign, is now in the first position, Scorpio, the 8th sign, is now in
second position, etc. The chart ruler of the Solstice chart is Venus in Scorpio in
the second house. How do you interpret this set-up? What does it tell us about the
mood and focus of the nation? What issues are likely to be on people's minds over
the next few months?
- What do you make of the exact Sun-Jupiter conjunction at 00 degrees of Capricorn?

- What if anything in the chart speaks to you about the upcoming primaries and caucuses?
- The popularity of Congress is at an all-time low. President Bush blames the
legislature for blocking his agenda and the electorate seems to be disenchanted with
Congress's lack of progress in national and foreign affairs. What does the chart tell
us about the relationship between Congress and the Executive Branch over the upcoming
months? Will Congress continue to sink in the polls or will its standing improve?
